We've driven by here a few times and finally decided to try it today. I was really excited because I love cozy, family farm-style diners--and this place definitely has that vibe. They also have a cute little shopping area with produce and bakery items, which I loved. When we walked in, everything looked clean and we were greeted. The service was polite, just not as warm or welcoming as I expected. Since we mentioned we were new, I was hoping for a simple "welcome" or maybe some recommendations, but overall it wasn't bad. We ordered a burrito to go, and it was great--fresh and really tasty. The only downside was that no salsa or condiments were offered or included in the bag. Thankfully, I had some at home. read more

I stumbled upon this place while driving around waiting for my dog to be groomed. The entire atmosphere and look reminded me of those small town places in movies. However this was real life. You walk into a market with fresh produce, dairy, pies, old school candy, ice cream, candles and more. The restaurant is in the back very cute. As I sat and waited for my order a regular walked in his name was Tom he will be 91 this August I believe and the waitress knew all this about him. Knew his order everything. In walks a couple they know Tom and the waitress as well knew they wanted HIC to drink. Towns and communities like these are places I wish existed more. What a Gem I discovered. read more

After a nice hike first thing in the morning, we wanted to grab a bite to eat and were recommended Jolene's. I was excited to try because I love trying new spots and have never noticed it in the area before. We got a parking spot and walked over to the front, which I think was accidentally the back of the restaurant. We asked for a table for 3 and were asked to wait in the store, which had a lot more room. It was actually really fun to walk around and see what goods they sold, which ranged from freshly-made jelly to all kinds of beef jerky. It was a great way to keep us occupied, help sell locally-made products, and see what we've got in the area. We walked around for maybe 25 minutes before we were seated and tucked near the back of the restaurant. It was a pretty busy morning since we could see a lot of others waiting and many people that our server had to walk around and work with. Unfortunately, that meant we were waiting for a bit to get our orders, but we could tell it's because of how busy things were at the restaurant (it was around 11ish, so peak brunch time). When we got our food, we were pretty happy with our orders. I love when breakfast spots serve skillets, so I was happy to order the hometown skillet. I liked the mix of the skillet but was looking for a hotter mix and crunch with the skillet. It was still very tasty! The biscuits and gravy were just okay for us, since there wasn't much and not as flavorful as we hoped. The service, however, was very good and helpful in making sure we were satisfied after we did have our food. Overall, we were good with the meal and experience for the most part. I'd love to try some of their sweeter breakfast options and/or lunch menu the next time around. read more

I hate to write a bad review as I had been wanting to try this place for a while. But a 1 star is not low enough. The food was horrible! The burger did not come with any sauce and the fries were not cooked enough. Still raw. The big chicken was really half a chicken sandwich. Literally. Nobody to check in is or ask if we needed anything. I would not have written a review if they had even bother to ask how everything was. Jolene's is a quaint little diner. The food is good. I think it would be a better experience if the customer service was better. The female employee acts like she doesn't want to be bothered. She seems a bit racist. It's an overwhelmingly uncomfortable and unwelcoming vibe from the female employee. I would consider sporadically patronizing them again but only for takeout. There are better places with better vibes though. read more

They are only open until 2 pm, but it's a great place for lunch or breakfast. They have a committed clientele that you can find every time it's open. The service is good and the staff are friendly. Its like a small hometown dinner where everyone knows everyone else. It is located inside the Winchester Farms store. The store carries specialized products that are hard to find, like Jones soda, and Dr. Brown sodas among other things. You'll love it. read more

We got to the resturant for a late breakfast/brunch at 1:00 (business says they close at 2:30 pm). Waiter did not want to take our order at the table as it should be for dine in and rushed us saying "order here in-front of the cashier and pay and sit in the front side we are about to close" There was no coffee available We ordered our food. Not the best quality. My husband got the farmers burger and I got the Ranchero Pancake Combo. Pancakes were flavorless and burnt. Got a triangle slice of dried cold ham. 2 sausage links which were okay and two super crispy cold bacon slices. We asked for a refill on a soda drink and the waiter responded to "what do you need" as if it were a bother to ask for a refill. Other people arrived to order food around 1:30-1:45 and the waiter turned the lights off and blocked the entrance, took their order rudely. Customers did ask if they were closed as it is advertised closing time is 2:30 she rushed them to order and only to-go orders. Definitely not going back. We were hoping this would have been a good place for local breakfast but the experience was not what we were looking for. read more

Sign outside boasts Breakfast served all day... what beverage do people usually enjoy with breakfast? COFFEE! Got there at 12:30 , wanting breakfast and a cup of coffee. Was told they werent currently serving coffee. Food was good, but not great. Had to ask for water twice. Asked for butter, never received it. When I went to pay , I asked the server what time they stop selling coffee. She told me they dont make any after 12.. lol.. how cheap is it to brew a pot of coffee. Great little breakfast stop. Friendly wait staff that made sure our coffee was always full and saw an extremely busy kitchen. We only saw one chef which explains why my scrambled eggs and bacon were a bit cooled off but the French toast was good and hot. My husband's breakfast was cooked perfectly and served hot. Today, 10/18 we were a party of five plus there were two other persons also dining. We got 4 waters & 1 iced tea to start. The waitress brought napkins & silverware and placed them in a pile in the center of the table rather than place them where each person was sitting. Then after about 5 minutes we finally get our drinks. Again she places all drinking cups in front of one person instead of placing them in front of each one of us. My hamburger came out with only one bun. She took my plate and returned with the other bun. I asked for ranch dressing for my burger. Which she complied but at check out I was charged. She never said there'd be a charge for 2 ounces of Ranch dressing. Perhaps she should mention so I can then decide if it's worth purchasing. I live down the street from this restaurant, I finally stop procrastinating and went on Sunday with a few friends to check it out. It was busy !!! That's a good thing because that is verification to me that the place is good . While we waited to get seated I explored around the market . There were veggies , candy , jams , pie , jerky , fruit , milk , ice cream and pies . A lot it was from local businesses. We got seated and our waiter was amazing . However, didn't get her name .
