This little hole in the wall came highly recommended by our landscaper. We drove by during the day and outside there was a lady coming tortillas while people were sitting on the picnic benches. We came back around 530pm and she was gone! They were not busy at all. We did take out but while waiting we were the only ones there. The lady who took our order was helpful. I asked here tons of questions. Like what is huarache? Is longer than a sope. It was so good! It as crispy. The birria was seasoned well. I got the quessabirria with consume. I rarely ever write reviews this negative, but today it felt necessary. We arrived at 6pm for dinner and were completely refused service. The woman pictured came out to tell us they would not serve us. Meanwhile, another woman was sitting in the dining area assembling tamales and gentlemen drinking beer. I keep trying to give this place chances, the menudo is all they got going....they should be ashamed of themselves serving old dry carne asada I could taste the freezer burn on the meat they used to make my tacos with the health dept may need to pay them a visit, their scooping ice out of a picnic cooler and are they even washing the container they store the Agua frescas in? The food was below mediocre, and the service was not good. Our server spent all of her time on personal calls. When we needed something I had to go to her because she wasn't servicing the table. It was poorly decorated and left much to be desired. I will not be going there again. read more

To start i ordered the 14.50 menudo...they charged me 16.48 plus the tax. The bowl was more like a medium size.. the menudo was good but i noticed that thete was no hominy in the soup!!!! Not good..i asked but she says: oh they didnt put any in? I responded no....the waitress could have stated with or witout? But .no! So they get a c+ on the soup but Fail onthe taking of the order and over charging me. NEDDLESS to say a tip wasnt left... ill try them again next time when passing thru Winchester. read more

Mixed feeling. We only come for my dad and husband who enjoy the menudo. They are picky so, the menudo must be good. I have tried a variety of things from their menu: chilaquiles, nachos, American breakfast (2 eggs, 2 bacon, potato and beans)... from what I remember. The few times I've come, always the same girls, no problem with that but there is only 2. They take the order they bring out the food. And that's it. They might forget to bring you your drink, you remind them to bring your tortillas, they do not bring them. And they might even charge you an extra plate on your bill, ask for receipt. All of that with a sprinkle of attitude. Food is good to come back, which we are for menudo, but the service is the primary reason why 1 star. They need to hire more, or get there move on and pick up the pace in the restaurant. We weren't the only customers that were upset because they wouldn't check on us and bring us what we needed for our plates. Inside is small. Calm, get full fast, lots of To-go orders. Probably why they stop attending people eating there to send ppl off with their food. read more

I would give this place no stars if I could, but this place sucks and their service is horrible. They are very unorganized, we ordered our food to go and they "lost" our order and we only ended up with half of our food. The poor servers are clearly overworked and they have a hard time being in a good mood. Although the food is pretty good, Both times I was in, I felt as if my order was a huge inconvenience. I hope the owner is more considerate with how they treat their workers. I witnessed how a nice hardworking server was expected to do more even though she was already doing great! Horrible Service!! Don't know if they need to get more staff or get better ones!!... It took more than 45mnts for them to bring us our entire order out. They were all over the place bring out plates for people that came after us. And she even wrote ur order in her note pad she brought everything wrong. Don't think I will return. read more

My absolute favorite place! We go every weekend for breakfast. We've tried almost everything but the homemade tortillas and the menudo is what always keeps us coming back. I do believe they can be more successful if they hired more staff but I promise you these ladies work so hard. It may be a little bit of a wait for your food but it's so worth it! Looks like a hole in the wall on the outside but the inside is actually pretty nice. They have a nicer floor than I have in my house. Good: I had 3 tacos (asada, carnitas, and Al pastor) and a refrained beans and chips and salsa. The tacos were delicious. The beans tasted like they came from a can, which isn't a bad thing necessarily; it just didn't taste authentic. The chips are homemade and the salsa was delicious. Service: they were ok. No one was rude but no one had the friendly "customer service attitude if you will. I don't think anyone smiled. I was a little disappointed they didn't have agua frescas even though it was listed on their menu. Overall, I'm glad I came here and would come again. read more

Los Charritos is a diamond in the rough. I know some people have complained about the service. Sometimes getting your food may be slower than normal, pretend you are at home, your food is being prepared. You may walk in, you're told to to have a seat and it may be a while before they get your order. Be patient, if they forgot about you just tell the cashier know and problem solved. The waitresses make you feel as though you are part of the family and the food is very authentic and delicious. One of my favorite dishes is the Chile relleno burrito, it is excellent and not deep fried. My husband has ordered many other foods on the menu and loves everything. What I eat is limited since I don't eat meat. Be kind and understanding during these times in which companies cannot get sufficient staff to employ. The food, the price and the service are worth the wait. read more

I got rolled tacos, cold, waited a long time with one person there. Rude employee at register. The rolled tacos were plain, no guacamole, no sour cream, a sprinkle of cheese and three diced tomatoes. I'd leave a 0 if I could The food was horrible, gave our table of 8 food poisoning. The waitress were all extremely rude. The girl took our drink orders and took 1.5 hours to give us one coffee! The waitress then called my cousin rude when we complained about Waiting 2 hours for food. When our food came out they brought only 2 plates and took bout 30 minutes to bring everyone's food. So, this place opened a week or so ago, and I've been here twice. I really think it has potential! Is it the best Mexican food I've ever had? Nope. But is it a nice, local addition that seems to be family-run? Yep! First time, I got their Veggie burrito, hold the veggies. Yep, that's beans, rice, cheese, sour cream, and guacamole, for those of you counting. It was pretty dang good, and the prices were reasonable, given the size. I tried their mild red and hot red sauce that day, and I'll tell you, the hot red is hot. If you're a guero like me, you'll want to stick with the mild. Second time, I got their cheese enchilada plate. The rice is good, the beans are good, and the enchiladas were a bit better than good; my only issue was that the whole thing needed to be about 10 degrees hotter. It wasn't bad because of that, but definitely could use a bit of a temperature increase. My wife got the Super Nachos with carne asada, and she liked them. Her only feedback was that there were too many tomatoes and onions. And, again, the prices were fairly reasonable. $24 for the enchilada plate, Asada Super Nachos, a Mexican Coke, and a large horchata. I'm going to give this place a few weeks to finish getting up and running, and give it a few more tries; I'm especially looking forward to trying their breakfast burritos, because a good one of those is hard to find. read more

Horrible service. I ordered carne asada fries, with no pico. the lady said"it doesnt come with pico," i said ok good. My daughter cant eat onions so no pico please. she assured me there was no pico going to be put on the fries. The order came, I drove home 15 mins. my daughter open the fries, and guess what was on them....PICO. I drove back and said, hey I told you twice no pico and you still put pico. she told me she must of mixed up the order. I said I drove 15 mins to come here, can you make them fresh with no pico and ill keep these ones with pico for myself. She said no im sorry but you cant have those. I will never come here again. We ordered our food ask for chips the young waitress told us they didn't have any then few min later she brought us chip andxz salsa then ask for salt she brought pepper the worst uof it all was we sat there 45 min and when my wife ask about order the young ladies tells us she forgot to put our order in and there was only 2 customer in the restaurant's at that point we got up and left did not get to try food but service was horrible and we will never go back. read more
