Lunch nachos with green chili pork

Every time we come to Jolie's we always get something different. And each time is just as delicious as before. The servers here are always helpful and incredibly friendly. Food is made to order so it takes a little time to get your order but with all the different people who come to visit someone is always up for a conversation. There's always music playing and there's also always something to watch on TV. This is a place you want to come to if you haven't been yet. You won't be sorry.

We've driven past this place for years and finally stopped in. The margarita was good, and the nachos and wings were decent, but nothing really stood out. Our server was attentive and friendly. It's a fine spot to grab drinks with friends or watch a game.

Food - Good. Some of your basic bar food items with Jolies own personal touch, and some entrees a solid step above the typical bar food options. My entree was quite good, and what we've ordered has been tasty. Service - good/alright. First visit i think our server was the only server and in the weeds or maybe just preoccupied, IDK. Today's server is more attentive. Ambiance - Loud chatter, music volume turned up just above level of convo. Place is somewhat dark, spacious. Customers kept active with trivia. Bar in center of place, tvs along the walls and around bar. Apparently the there's a good size patio too, but the June temp of 112° after 5 p.m. aren't encouraging me to go out there.

I use to come here all the time although I haven't been in quite some time now. I love that I can come here and watch pretty much any sporting event that's going on at that time. The place is old time dive bar / sports bar/ karaoke bar / food spot / music venue. The people working are always very cool and will even talk shit about a particular team WITH you OR against you, but all in good fun. The food is a notch above what you'd expect from a bar and grill and, of course, they can make you any drink you want. The people that hang out here are all very friendly and very cool as well. I especially like the nights they have live bands because I love to see and hear the music live. Karaoke night is always fun and even though I never partake any more, it's a blast to listen to those that do If you ride a Harley like I do, or if you just like to roll on 4 wheels, this is a great spot to hang out. Good old fashioned neighborhood sports bar and grill!

    Pancakes that fell apart

Went for breakfast around 9am couple Thursdays ago as I've heard from others their breakfast is really good. Yes, it's a dive bar and there were already a lot of people at the bar drinking. I decided on biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs over easy and toast. Wife got a couple of pancakes and sausages. The food looked pretty good when it arrived but unfortunately tasted horrible and I thought how do you mess up breakfast? Wife's pancakes fell apart as soon as she poured syrup on them and she also was not happy with her meal. There was only one server who was tending to all the customers so we just asked for our check and left with most of the food uneaten. Looks like a lot of regulars hang out here and is probably decent for drinks. The food was just inedible for us.

Stopped in for lunch and a cocktail and Jolies never disappoints. The wings are always delicious but having them grilled are a must! The fries were spot on, just like McDonald's and service is always fabulous!

Best pancakes by far in AZ. Came in for my son's bday breakfast and they made it such a special birthday for him. Good food drinks and fun atmosphere.

Jolie's place is a well loved pillar of Chandler. I had the pleasure of meeting Jolie and celebrating her 12th anniversary of her business. You can see how loved and respected she is and how her patrons love to support Jolie's Place. Staff were very hospitable. Great outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. Lots of drinks to go around.

Another local business, Copperhead Diesel recommended Jolie's to us. It did not disappoint. We LOVE dive bars and this is my new favorite. They have karaoke and live music depending on the day. The beer selection on draft was amazing and so was the food. Our server was so attentive. We had the fish and chips and French dip southwest style with Parmesan fries. It was so delicious. I was also impressed with the fact she brought a lid for my ranch and a nice container for the aujus with my to go box. It's the attention to detail for me! Next time I am in the valley I will definitely stop in and try some other things on the menu that caught my eye.

If you are looking for a quiet romantic place for dinner keep looking. This place is a loud bar. If you are looking for an amazing French dip, outstanding onion rings and great service, you found your place. The French dip was amazing. The meat was tender and cut in-house. It was flavorful and juice. The bread was tasty. The tater tots were great. The onion rings as an app is out of this world. First off you get A-LOT of onion rings. Next they are huge. These are hand cut real onions and hand breaded. Tasty and crispy. The dipping sauce was excellent. Mackenzie was our waitress. She was very nice and attentive. We will definitely be back.

Out and about on one of our random adventures and decided or stop in and check out the first random local spot we came across. We noticed an outside patio with TV's so we stopped to possibly check out some of March Madness. The location is easy to access from any direction so that that was great. Upon entering my first thought was man it's dark in here. So dark I thought my old lady eyes wouldn't even be able to read a menu. Luckily I succeeded without a flashlight this time. Second thought was do we seat ourselves or stand awkwardly at the door since there were no signs or employees to be seen besides the bartenders. And last but not least third thought was how loud it was. With music blaring and a group of pretty loud men who'd already had a few lol. I know this review is starting off pretty negative, but we decided to stay and give it a try. It is a sports bar kinda vibe so it definitely wasn't going to be silent. We decided to pick a booth and see what happened. We found menus on the table and right away a waitress came over. That was good as she saw us before we saw her for sure. She was friendly, took our drink order and gave us time to look over the menu. She came back with our drinks. We ordered a beer on tap and some waters. When she came back I had chosen their green chili burger and a half order of nachos with ground beef. Then we waited. Service got a bit slower at this point, but she did come by and check on us a few times. Everything looked great when it came out. Good thing we ordered the half nachos because they were stacked up. I can't imagine the size of a full plate. Fries were good. They were more shoestring than your larger ones elsewhere. My burger while ok and cooked to my request was a bit bland. I tasted more onions than green chili or anything else. A bit of a bummer but wasn't horrible. All in all if you've come to drink this is definitely a popular local spot. Unfortunately no pics of the nachos because my group loves to dig in on purpose so I can't ha ha . For me this go round it was more miss. If in the area again I'd give them another try.

January 2026 special. Great menu this month. Beef Stroganoff. I can feed a small village

In the 1980's the trend was BARS with Food. Bennigans, Chilis , Fridays. Jolies is also in that category but food from scratch with a very knowledgeable kitchen. January 2026 specials menu knocks it out of the park. Well done. By the way my stroganoff was waaay too much food. lol. My picture is already missing one serving.

What time does the kitchen close on weekdays?

Sunday-Thursday kitchen closes at 11pm Friday and Saturday midnight

What type of music do they typically play here at Jolie's Place?

It's actually a decent mix of music depending on the day. During the week, they have "patio therapy" which is usually a solo or duet of acoustic musicians, playing anything from easy listening, folk, blues, rock, or country. On Thursday night there…

Unfortunately, that's about where the positives end. If you're coming for the food or the service, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. We came in as a party of five a little after 9:00 PM and were told the kitchen closed at 10:00 PM. No problemo, we were ready to order right away. Instead, our server didn't return to take our order until around 9:20PM, despite nearby tables continuing to receive service. That was the first sign things weren't going well. I ordered the carne asada nachos specifically because the menu advertised them with queso instead of shredded cheese. I even mentioned to my group that was the reason I was ordering them. I also added a side of sweet potato waffle fries. About 25 minutes after we had already placed our order, the server came back and asked if I'd like a different meat. Like of course I don't want a different meat that's why I ordered carne asada. The server didn't say that they were out of carne asada, but I read between the lines and opted for ground beef cause really the queso is what makes the nachos. Also, I couldn't help wondering why it took 25 minutes to find that out. Then the food arrived. My nachos immediately looked different than expected. Instead of queso, they were covered with shredded cheese. Nothing was mentioned about being out of queso. I notice there was none. When I asked about it, the server casually said, "Oh yeah, we're out of queso too." Wait...what? So the restaurant was out of both the carne asada and the queso. The two main ingredients that made me order the dish in the first place. No one cared to mentioned either of those things when taking my order OR when coming back and asking if I wanted a different meat didn't also mention they were out of queso. Had I known, I would have ordered something completely different from the start. To the server's credit, she did let me order something else. Sucks for the kitchen because they were already closed. I ended up getting the sliders, but they were just as underwhelming as everything else. The food overall tasted like frozen products that had simply been reheated. Nothing tasted fresh, especially considering the prices. The biggest issue wasn't just the mediocre food, it was the lack of communication and straight lie when placing my food in front of me. If items are unavailable, tell customers before they order or at least when placing their food down, not after they've waited half an hour and not saying anything at all. Between the disappointing service, poor communication, and unforgettable food for all the wrong reasons, this place completely lost my trust. I'd honestly rather spend half the money at IHOP, where the food is more consistent and I'd know what to expect.

I get it's the home team, but it was a throwaway game and other games were critical, and the fan bases were there. - the food wasn't great. The mozzarella sticks could have been really good, but two of the four were dripping in grease and we couldn't really eat them. The other two were delicious.
