My last night is the city of Mesa and I wanted to go out so I ended up here because it was close to my hotel and also close to my final destination. I was confused by my burger because I ordered one that was supposed to have some special sauce but I didnt taste it. It was still good though. I had a few beers and a scotch and I was pretty happy. They were supposed to have karaoke but I didnt see any singing happening. They had lots of TV and pool tables. Decent place, I wish it was a little bit more lively. read more

We won't ever return because the Mexican owner is horrible the way she treat her employees and when Hope was taking out order the Mexican owner interrupts our table and brushes the server Hope away. We travel bars and grills across the nation on YouTube and the owner of this bar is the worst we ever experienced. We watcher getting drunk and listen to you how she speaks and treats her employees horribly. The vlog showed everything on YouTube and we got 100,000 views from the public in Mesa. Man reading the one star reviews on this place broke me. Met the owner(s) Sean and Loice. Cool Cool Cool husband and wife team. To say the owner was yelling at staff means they were having a lovers spat haha. It's a married couple running this fine place. They are both passionate about their customers. You can see the pride and passion in their work. Both of them are excellent, they both were supper attentive, great conversationalists. Its corner bar decor is perfect for the vibe, great patio, very clean. We had nachos, potato skins, and deviled eggs. All three were excellent. The meat on the nachos are owners mom's recipe. Brought our newborn in and the owners were so sweet to him. They both spent way too much of their time coming to greet us all. Drinks were great, try their new Arnold Palmer seltzer drink with Sun cruiser that they have. It's Top notch! I encourage those one star reviews to come back and try this place again. My wife and I drive by this place often so we decided to finally give it a try, Drinks were good but slightly overpriced. You can definitely tell this business is new and very unorganized. A manager was visibly drunk while her staff was struggling to attend to a full bar. She was bragging about how she's gone through over 30 bartenders in the last year?? Granted she was drunk so a lot of what she was saying made no sense. we were wrongfully optimistic about this place. Came here for a quick lunch while visiting family in the hospital. Food was absolutely disgusting honestly... me and my siblings were so hungry and had to get back to the hospital so we gagged some of it down but my brothers burger was actually inedible. We did mention to the server about the burger and she just walked away didn't say anything. Server was rude the entire time coming from someone who is also a server. We had a good time but not a 30% tip good time. Their prices a a little high. Enjoyed the karaoke. We did not have a choice for the 30% tip. The waitress never gave my partner the tablet to put a tip on it, she just added it herself. We had good service but still no 30% worth or our choice as to what we wanted to pay. Awesome neighborhood bar with excellent food and very talented mixologists behehind the bar. My wife have gone there over 5 times and I am really looking forward to our next visit. The owners are a lovely couple whose service and conversation makes Whiskey Wednesdays feel like a second home. We have had some really great meals at Whiskey Wednesdays. The house special burger is outstanding. One of my absolute favorites. My wife also love it and gets it with bacon. We have also gotten there pizza. It is really great bar pizza. We also loved the golden bbq chicken wings, Elote Corn Bites, and the Go Pac Go Cheese Curds. All of which are great. This very morning my wife and I went back for breakfast having terrific breakfast burritos (1 with bacon and 1 with sausage). It was delicious and a great place to watch Sunday morning football! Friday and Saturday night karaoke is a blast and we went to Tuesday night trivia. We may not have won but we still had a blast. The Prickly Pear Margarita and Breakfast shots are so good.
