My first experience at Jollibee was a good one! This location was very clean, spacious, and featured a modern looking lobby. The staff were friendly. I did have to wait a little longer for my order to be ready than I am typically used to for a fast food establishment; they were focusing on their drive thru lane speed. I got the aloha burger. While one of their pricier options, it had a very good flavor and I enjoyed it. I intend to come back to try a chicken item when I am in more of a poultry mood. Restrooms are readily available to customers. There's a fun life-sized bee statue outside the entrance for selfies! read more

Since the first time i tried it back in 90s...spot on. . The palabok, i know the sauce are prepackaged. I'll compare it to Jollibee Delano...they're better...its all standardized but their palabok seems tastier. The lemon packets are still and have been always missing. Now for the chicken, we got the original chicken joy, no spicy flavor available. The gravy was true langhap sarap since ever since. The chicken was crispy, juicy but the breading came out flat. This is not how i remember this chicken joy. Hate to compare to Delano but the breading there taste correct. But im sure knowing these will be addressed and fixed. This was our first time at a Jollibee, and it will likely be our last. We have heard so many good things about this place and have always wanted to try it but there isn't one within 100+ miles of us. The dining area and restrooms were very tidy, and looked like they were regularly taken care of. The staff was friendly and timely. The food unfortunately was a disappointment. We ordered a 2 piece meal, with fries, a soda, and an Ube hand pie. As well as the limited time Aloha Chicken sandwich with a side of mashed potatoes, the "Pineapple Quencher", and a peach mango hand pie. Both pieces of fried chicken were hot, but not crispy, and as someone else mentioned they didn't just lack flavor, they tasted like gas station chicken. It was moist to the point of feeling "wet". The fries were hot and crispy, but didn't appear to be seasoned either. The ube hand pie was very hot, crispy, and the filling tasted good, but the texture was like hot apple sauce and we didn't finish it. The Aloha chicken sandwich was fine, like everything else it felt like no seasoning was applied at any point of the cooking process. The chicken piece was large, cooked through, and sort of crispy. The mashed potatoes were standard instant potatoes like you would find at most fast food joint. The pineapple quencher was just straight pineapple juice over ice, and put me instantly in a sugar coma. Okay so I put off coming here to try jollibees for awhile now. I think the concept confused me but I've been meaning to try it! Today I did. The service was really helpful & fast. Love how quick their drive thru was. Food came out hot! The girl who took my order was helpful answering any questions I had. I wanted to try a little bit of everything and split it with my uncle so I got a 3 piece chicken tender, I chose ranch and creamy Sriracha as my dips. ( they gave me a gravy for dipping too & it's bomb!) I think the chicken was a 9/10. Crispy, fresh, and juicy on the inside. Definitely want to try their thighs next because I've heard great things. They have an option to get spicy chicken and I'm going to do that next! I got the mashed potatoes with gravy on the side for the chicken and it was good can't go wrong with good ol' taters. So what really threw me off was the spaghetti. I didn't realize this was a Filipino restaurant so the spaghetti is a type of sweet sauce. It had cheese and also these little hotdog/hotlink pieces? I really tried to like it but I just wasn't a fan. It reminded me of a sweeter/bbq like spaghetti-os. But after reading reviews it's a required taste which I respect that. Regular Chicken sandwich is my go to. Always fresh and soft. If your craving Chick fil A and the lines to long on Stockdale drive a little down to Jollibee and get your chicken sandwich fast. You won't be disappointed. Just no special sauce but at least it beat the line. read more

The customer service at this Jolibee was amazing! The nice gentleman that was taking our order was nice and patient because it was our first time being here! I had got the 2pc chicken joy with spaghetti and a pineapple quencher and it was all delicious, my friend had got the same thing but with fries as a side! Everyone is very friendly the menu is simple to understand and has a lot of different variations for a small fast food chain. My favorite is the two piece chicken with rice and gravy the kids enjoyed the chicken tenders and the spaghetti was different it had a different sauce with hot dog but my son ate it and said its interesting. Oh did they give us the bucket we loved it so much that we first tried it in Vegas and then on the way home we stopped at Bakersfield to grab a bucket so it definitely is good I recommend trying it this is somewhere we would stop again whenever we're in town I wish they would build one in Fresno! read more

We stopped by there today and had lunch and tried the chicken joy I liked it .the chicken was very juicy fresh and hot, the gravy tasted very good and I tried the cheeseburger Yum and it was a different kind of texture of a cheeseburger but tasted good and the pineapple Quenzer was very good too . Mediocre chicken, at best. The sign on the window promised the crispiest as well as the juiciest chicken. I ordered a 3 piece, 1 side & drink, for $7.99. I received a thigh and 2 drumsticks, a cup of gravy, and my side of fries. The main problem for me was the chicken. It was not remarkably crispy. It was tender and juicy, but most of that "juice" was oil it fried in. My biggest gripe was the chicken was incredibly bland... It needed some salt and pepper at the very least, and compared to the Popeyes spicy I've grown accustomed to, it was rather flavorless to me. I've spent some time in Canada, where it's common to serve brown gravy with just about everything. I dumped my chicken in the gravy they provided, but it just didn't do much for it. It's pretty rare for me to try a new place, and say "I don't need to ever come back here again!", but it was true for me at this establishment. KFC and Popeyes... and evenly the lowly McDonald's chicken McNugget... have no fear of loosing market share to Jollibee! read more

Okay, so I am reviewing the food not the fact they are short staffed or their drive thru is closed. There is only 3 employees the few times I have been, I understand a wait since they have delivery and call in orders (some people need to realize that). I waited less than 15 minutes for my food which was okay considering they make the food to order (not just sitting under a heat lamp). I have had their palabok, spicy deluxe chicken sandwich, fried chicken, aloha yumbuger, peach mango pie, and banana jackfruit pie. The spaghetti is on my next list to try but right they're not serving spaghetti right now. Frozen or fresh beef patties at other fast food restaurants do not compare to jollibee's. Definitely seasoned and feels homemade. First time trying palabok, was very garlicky but once I put the lemon juice on it, it was so good. Fried chicken is good quality, plenty of white meat, crispy breading, not greasy at all. Their spicy chicken sandwich was actually spicy even had slices of jalapeños in it. And the pies are my all time favorite, so buttery and flakey. Also really good pineapple juice. Definitely recommend the food. read more

I had been wanting to try Jollibee forever. Because I had heard of their spaghetti and I love spaghetti. I love the sweetness of Filipino spaghetti and the longaniza. The fried chicken was so hot, you literally have to wait to eat it because it is steaming and will burn you. But the chicken is so crunchy and good the spicy one has a good spice to it and it's season so well. Paired with the pineapple refresher it was the best thing. We went to the opening night. I ordered ahead inline snd was able to walk up. The manager took me right in and they prepped my order. I was out in five minutes. The place was packed! I now understand why this place is so good. It's that good. We had the Chickenjoy Bucket Treat C which came with 6 pieces of chicken which were hot and huge an order of Palabok Fiesta (this was soooo goood) and 3 fried pies, which I could literally cry over because it was everything you ever wanted in a pie snd more. And gravy. Lots of gravy. So so happy. The drive-through line on opening night was In n Out + Dutch Brothers so I would recommend doing your order online. Worth it! read more

If you grew up in the Philippines and always had Jollibee then you know it's always nostalgic. The original crispy chicken is always good, but I wish they always had spicy chicken available. They usually are out. Also, why don't you have halo halo! It's a staple in Jollibee but they don't offer this at the Bakesfield nor the Delano location. I'm still waiting on that to come! Spaghetti is always bomb! Loading up the sauce is how I like (it may be different for others). Just know Filipino spaghetti is SWEET. Don't expect it to be Italian. Palabok and peach mango pie are always made well! Same goes for the pineapple quencher. If you're not used to Filipino fast food, this is the spot to try at least once then make your decision whether you like it or not. YAY! A JOLLIBEE IN BAKERSFIELD! This brand new building is neat and clean and the employees are FANTASTIC. Was here right before the lunch rush on the first Saturday and ordered the Chickenjoy meal with the palabok noodles and peach mango pies. It was our first time trying Jollibee and while the palabok noodles were only ok, well try the spaghetti next time, the fried chicken is SO good. Doesn't feel as greasy as a lot of other fried chicken and the meat has actual flavor instead of relying on the flavor of the breading. But the absolute STAR of their whole menu are those Peach Mango Pies. The perfect sweet tropical filling with a perfectly crispy pie dough, absolute heaven.
