Went here last night with my husband around 7:30pm. We got a spicy chicken sandwich meal with spaghetti and a 2piece meal with adobo rice. We also got the pineapple drink which was bomb. How on God's green earth does this place only have 3 stars. I have been here before and they were short staff and didn't have much time to chat but this place is lights out! Today--- KC on Cashier was warm and welcoming! Louie on clean up is cool cool cool. Friendly and efficient. He was sweeping up and I joked that I was gonna still eat that because the floor is soooo clean. And then there was Nicole.....my nominee for Jollibee associate of the year! Fastest most efficient expo/food runner in the industry and I'm talking all the way up to the finest of dining!! Driving through the shopping complex parking lot and found this place. First time visiting any Jollibee but known about them a long time because of Yelp. Atmosphere - The place was packed at 1 PM on a Sunday. Typical fast food setup. Pay the cashier/order taker and find a spot if you are lucky. The art on the wall of the dancing Jollibee was cool. Food Drinks - I just had water, their water cups could be a lot larger. Hydration is important, definitely when it 110+ out. Lunch - I went with a two piece spicy chicken with spaghetti. I was shocked to find little slices of hot dog in the spaghetti, but Sheldon (Big Bang) would be happy. The spaghetti was on the lines with Chef Boyardee spaghetti, very sweet. The chicken was juicy and the pieces were large. The spicy level was perfect for me. It slowly built up during the meal. Dessert - We split the Peach Mango Pie. Heavenly!! I now want to try their Ube pie, I know it is seasonal. I also know my fellow Yelpers will let know when it is available again. The coconut pineapple was not calling my name. Service - Pretty basic. What you would expect from a fast food restaurant. I did like to see my order on the POS. It makes confirmation of your order accuracy so much easier. How can you run out water cups, and then tell they are in the back. She did say they would be on my tray when I came and pick up my food. Stopped here for lunch hoping to get a quick bite. I think I came at the worst time because I believe someone put in a huge order (4 buckets minimum) for like a huge outing. The line was stretched almost out the door from the register. The cashiers apparently were flown in from Vegas to help get this store running a bit smoother, but I waited about 35 min for a 2 piece combo with Palabok, some peach mango pies, and a chicken sandwich. Once again I think that was because of the huge order prior to me getting there. The chicken was really good; however, my order did not come with the iconic gravy. I didn't want to wait in line again so I just ate it without. The chicken was good and juicy but it wasn't really hot. I'm not taking the chicken joy over Popeyes, but the chicken is fried very well. Crispy but not too heavy and definitely not too salty like KFC. I also had the Palibok which I believe is rice noodles and a meat sauce with eggs and shrimp. Came here at 3pm on. Saturday afternoon. Waited in line to order with one guy at the cash register and a line of patrons that reached the front door. Also, the drive thru is barricaded off. After waiting 20 minutes in line to order, we waited another 30 minutes to get our food. Not to mention, they blatantly stated we are short-staffed today so we don't have any burgers or sandwiches!!! What?!? I don't blame the workers that were present. They were clearly working as fast as they could to get customer orders out. It's clearly a sign of poor management (not the lone manager that was busting her hump on the line to help) at a corporate level. If you have ever worked in fast food or the restaurant industry, you KNOW that Saturday is your busiest day and MUST be staffed right. I love the food at Jollibee which is why they get one more star of credit, but we paid over $70 for fast food for 4 people. Just saying... By the time we left almost an hour after walking in, the line of patrons was practically out the door! It's been years since I've had Jollibee so I was very excited to see one in Chandler! Located in a shopping strip, there's plenty of parking. We stopped by for a late lunch, around 2pm or so. There were diners in the building, but it wasn't super busy. I ordered a palabok fiesta, fries, and a banana langka pie (seasonal flavor) for myself. My aunt ordered a chicken sandwich. The order took forever. We waited well over 15 minutes. I finally went up to the counter to ask about my order and they said it would be ready soon. Food is always going to be great here. Service on the other hand was terrible. I ordered online and there is a designated online and pick up side. There was 1 person ahead of me and 5 other people behind me. Not one person bothered to acknowledge us while we all waited. And when it came to letting the employees know that I am here to pick up my personal online order, it took over 4 times of a duration of 35 minutes. First time. Restaurant was very clean. I tried the 2-piece chicken combo for $11.89 which comes with one side (I got mashed potatoes) a mango peach pie, gravy sauce (for the chicken) and a drink. Chicken was tasty and the gravy sauce just adds to the flavor. I like the mash potatoes just wish you got a larger portion. We went here because my girlfriend made a big deal about this place. I had never been before. The drive thru was closed, but they had mobile order pickup available looks like. But only 3 parking spots for it. I ordered the Palabok Fiesta w/drink and side of steamed rice. She got 2 piece spicy chicken joy with fries and mashed potatoes and extra side of gravy. And we both ordered the coconut pineapple pie. Shockingly out order was ready in about 8 mins. And the place was extremely busy. Keep in mind our call device didn't vibrate, it just lights up. I'm not sure if mine really tasted good or not because I inhaled it. I'm not used to eating rice noodles with a fork so it was gone quick. My S.O. Is middle eastern so she loves spicy food and she said "wow this chicken is actually spicy". Most other places have "spicy" chicken but it's not actually spicy. This place was spicy, so she was happy! The coconut pineapple pie sounded intriguing. We both enjoyed it. If it weren't for the extremely long line, we would have ordered extras to go! I have gone to the establishment twice. The 1st time I went was during height of covid. The line was out the door. You were required to still have mask on. However the workers were not enforcing social distancing. In period there were too many people inside the line. Therefore, I decided not to order there. I gave a very detailed account of my review back then and this restaurant complained to Yelp and had to remove. I was annoyed that my review got removed because my review was based on my experience at the restaurant and just because I didn't order food doesn't mean that I can't review the service, the cleanliness, and safety concerns. Anywho I went back to the restaurant. At this time covid had calmed down somewhat and it did appear some social design measures were put into place. Also by this point I was vaccinated and felt comfortable entering into the restaurant. I ordered the rice and also chicken tenders. I was able to get my rice right away which I ate in the store because I was really hungry. My chicken tenders took while because I believe they fried them there. Ordering this time was pretty simple since it was not crowded and their menus were very clear. However they were out of certain sauces that I would have liked to try. The rice was drier than I expected. I have familys from the Philippines, So I am very familiar with how this rice is supposed to taste. It lacked chicken adobo which it was supposed to have. I would not order the rice again. Cost was high for a side that I didn't enjoy. The chicken tenders were really delicious when I got them and I enjoyed them they were very hot flavourful and sized just right. I also got one of the mango pies and wow that was the bomb 5 stars. I will go back just for the hand pies and probably will get tenders to. Avoid gravy sauce. All in all kind of nice to have some Filipino food in The Valley. However this is fast food so don't expect it to be gourmet. This review should stick because I actually did eat their food and have the pictures to prove it and I do think it's important that all reviews whether the restaurant likes them or not are allowed to stay on. 1st experience was one star this experience was about 3 1/2 star and so that's why I rated it a 3 star. read more

This location is awful! I waited 40 mins on my lunch break all for them to tell me once I got up to order that the wait was an hour & 30 mins! So I figured I'd use the bathroom and go find something else to eat quickly only to see that there was not even a drop of soap in the bathroom. This jollibee practically does whatever they want. Closes early because "of a meeting". Last time I check, service industry should facilitate meetings before or after business hours. Somehow they just pick random days to close early 8/29/2024 Drive thru is always close. The staff at Jollibee are probably racist. I've noticed they show preferential treatment to certain customers while showing contempt toward African American customers. It's been my experience that after my initial visit my food orders consistently have been sabotaged, whether it's chicken drenched in oil, chicken not fully cooked or just plain food poisoning, it has become increasingly obvious why they hardly have any African American customers despite that fact that many AA ppl live in the area. Their chicken isn't even that good, just wanted it because I was craving something salty. But it's not worth the mystery of what ever they decide to do next to mess up my food. Oh this last visit they blocked off the drive thru forcing everyone to come inside and they methodically skipped my order in line forcing me to wait an excessive amount of time for nasty food. Consistently good! Best spicy fried chicken ever and the palabok never disappoints. Though, I've learned something about Jollibee. The menu is subject to change at any given time, for any given reason. It's just how things are and the sooner you accept it, the sooner you can enjoy the food again. Lol. I went through the drive-thru a few weeks ago and made another large order. The only thing that was wrong was that my four giant, family sized containers of palabok were all missing one key ingredient - the shrimp. I mean, they've always been stingy with those sea bugs and only put like 6 at a time regardless if you order the single-serve size or the largest single-serve size. But zero shrimp is just insulting. The nerve. Oh! And they ran out of lemon juice so, obviously, I was entitled to rage - but I didn't. Jollibee has been good to me lately. Benefit of the doubt. So, yesterday I went inside the restaurant to order because I wanted to ask, in person, about the missing shrimp - but mostly because the drive-thru was closed. Anyway, turns out that shrimp is no longer served on the palabok because of the food allergy component. I mean, it makes sense. But dammit, I liked those little things. They really made a difference. I think it was a texture thing because the shrimp weren't all that great. But they were mine, damn you! Lol. Oh well. Now I know what to expect for the future. I'll adapt. For example, to this day I will not buy Jollibee unless I have at least one lemon at home just in case they run out of those juice packets - which happens. Oh! AAAAND they serve spicy fried chicken again - which I thought was being phased out. Maybe the demand for the spicy fried chicken was loud enough they they brought it back? Maybe all I need to do is organize a protest for shrimp? I don't know. What I do know is that this place is what it is. Learn to adapt. They've been doing their best lately and it does show. Do not go here if you're looking for "fast food." The wait was so long and the line was going out the door. We even went for a late dinner and the wait was still so long. However, the food was delicious as usual. Our food was piping hot when we received it and everything seemed fresh. The star is always the Chicken Joy and that did not disappoint. The place was pretty large inside. The staff were pretty friendly. The menu had a decent amount of choices but no white meat. That seemed pretty strange for a chicken place. The chicken was very tender and chicken outer batter was very tasty. My wife didn't like the potatoes.she said they tasted like Kentucky Fried Chicken. I thought the spaghetti was good kind of sweet. I could do without the hotdog slices. Sausage would have been better. The mango pie was good. It had the taste of McDonald's apple pie but a little bit better tasting. As an update to my review it appears that breakfast is no longer served at this. I'm glad I got to try it at least once. I've been back several times and service and quality has vastly improved. I'm very happy to be able to pull up to the drive through or order ahead for pickup without much hassle. Sometimes there is a wait for the spicy chicken when they need to fry a new batch but the 20 minutes will always be worth it. The staff is kind and will bring it to our car or offer a water cup when we wait. read more

I have been very excited to try Jolibee after hearing my Filipino friends RAVE about it. We wanted to try everything and got the Family Pack B (6pc chicken, large spag, and 3 peach mango pies), 4 yum burgers, palabok fiesta, and side of large mashed potatoes. Our faves were the spaghetti, chicken, and peach mango pies. The spaghetti has a slight sweetness to it, and chunks of tasty but unidentified meat mixed in the sauce. If you're a spaghetti purist, come into this with an open mind. The fried chicken wasn't anything crazy, but it was juicy, crispy, and flavorful. The peach mango pies are SO GOOD - they are deep fried and ridiculously crispy with a warm peach/mango center. If I had the patience to take these home and pair it with some vanilla ice cream I would...but alas I don't. The yum burgers were alright, quite heavy on the yum sauce (very pickle-y), but just an average cheeseburger. Mashed potatoes were also quite average, similar to that of KFC or Popeyes. The palabok consists of fine vermicelli noodles with a broth-tasting gelatinous sauce mixed in with small pieces chicharon (fried pig skin) - mix this while it's hot so the sauce won't congeal! This was alright, but was one of the lighter things we ordered. If I come back, it'll be for the spag and peach mango pies. Super clean, efficient, and homey!! read more
