It serves chicken plain or spicy and chicken sandwiches. Sides include rice, fries, or mashed potatoes with gravy. Dessert includes fried hand fruit pies. The chicken when hot is very moist. There are online, take out, or dining in options. Guests need to be patient. I waited 20 minutes for my two-piece chicken and side. Very long wait for both dine in and mobile order. The lady that serves the food didn't have good customer service when customers have a question. A little bit of manner and a smile will go a long way! Food is always delicious at Jollibee but the day I went the fountain drink machine was out. Make sure if you're ordering a bigger order to check their website first because I was able to score a deal for $5 off $35 that day. I don't see any workers walking around wiping tables after customers leave so I can't say how often it gets wiped. There were a lot of tables for you to dine in and they have a little area you can sit while waiting for your food (only if no one is sitting at the high tops). Next time I would probably opt to go to a different location solely because customer service was horrible. read more

I so wanted to love it, but...it was pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon. We waited briefly in line, but when we were next to be served we got solicited by a panhandler inside near the registers. I wish management would have asked him to leave. He was there for a while asking everyone in line for money and declining offers for food. We ordered the regular chickenjoy and spicy deluxe sandwich. Both desperately needed salt and we're very bland - even with sauce. The chicken was made better by dipping it in the gravy. Our order did come out fairly quickly based on how busy it was and we understood why the tables were all so dirty, but... I'm glad they're expanding and we got to try it. The staff speak Tagalog and it's nice to see them helping senior citizens with ordering. I felt like the food was just okay. The tables aren't that clean but it was also busy. The wait is also pretty long because they seemed to run out of fries. The spicy chicken sandwich probably ranks the highest out of all the food I got but I prefer the McDonald's one. The tenders were okay. They were chewy and the breading doesn't have much flavor. The sauces definitely improved it. The fries were fine, not especially crispy or anything. The pie was delicious though. It has a nice bubbly texture on the outside and even though it had banana in its name, it didn't taste overly banana. I'd probably come back just for the pie. read more

There's no Jolibee where we're from in the East Coast so this was a treat to be able to try after hearing about Filipino style fried chicken. Expectations were met and exceeded especially since we got their rice noodle dish which is not something I'd expect from a fried chicken chain. Imagine someone using a washing machine, but instead of a full load, they are washing just one sock at a time. As of October 10th, 2024, the staff is absolutely inefficient. Our receipt was time stamped at 12:33pm, we did not get our food until 1:08pm. Fulfilling quick, 1 to 2 item orders first seemed to be their priority since I witnessed customers after me receive their meals first. With nothing to do for 30 minutes, I realized why I was waiting for 30 minutes. I watched the staff attempt to wrangle and arrange every single food item and it was a complete ADHD mess. For them, the idea of a queue is incomprehensible. I saw them gather and arrange my order, only to get distracted by the next order that came in. Five orders later, my food still sat neglected on the counter, as if it had been forgotten. My order lacked mashed potatoes. Moving at a maddening slow pace, someone remembered and bagged the mashed potatoes, completing my order. The redundant food pager finally beeped and I quickly grabbed my food, only to realize they had forgotten my Pineapple Quencher. A Border Collie can arrange food faster than this staff. read more

Jolibee is a well known Filipino fast food chain, famous for their friend chicken. Their chickens are done very well, juicy and tender, with wonderful flavors. Comparable to KFC I guess, but the menu has more SE Asian offerings. Glad Michigan Avenue has more options of fast food chains other than bread and burgers, and affordable eats. Service is horrible. Ordered my food online at 12:56, said it'll be ready at 1:05, I waited until 1:50 for my order. There were workers walking around aimlessly while people waited for their order to be taken and to receive their orders. Tried this location for the first time earlier this month and it was total chaos. I had walked-in the first time so this time I decided to order on the app for pickup. It was even worse. The estimate was 19 minutes and I was about 20 minutes away so figured it would be perfect. After my order was confirmed, the time went to 25 minutes. After I got there and waited patiently for 20 minutes past my estimated ready time, I asked about my order and was told it wasn't up yet. They called out my sandwich and I waited longer. Then I finally got a notification my order was ready after another 20 minutes. I asked about my order and was told "just waiting on the sandwich and fries". I ordered a sandwich, fries and a drink. They called out my sandwich again and then another 20 minutes later my name was called and I received an order. There were no seats available because everyone was saving a seat before they got their food so I left. I finally open the bag to eat and it was the wrong sandwich. From my perspective, spaghetti and fried chicken should not be a normal combo. Yet, it just worked great. The sauce is pretty sweet, so having the fried chicken there to balance it out helps great. Also, Jollibee has the best mascot. It's a jolly bee. read more

However, there clearly were not enough staff working in the back which resulted in another crowd of people simply waiting for their orders. I have been to this location twice now. Both times I had to wait over 20 minutes for food. For chicken. Which is all they make. This past visit, I had them refund my order after waiting 18 minutes, and then asking about my order... The manager huffs, and tells me it will be six more minutes. First time trying Jollibee and it did not disappoint me! Jollibee is a fast casual dining restaurant serving up traditional and fun Filipino food that you know and love. I got the fried chicken and spaghetti with a mango pie. McDonald's has a lot to learn from jollibee when it comes to their beloved, handheld pies. The crispy exterior paired with the unique tropical flavours of mango is an experience you don't want to miss. I also really enjoyed the chicken and gravy. I ended up drinking the extra gravy... I thought the chicken was cooked perfectly and had a really delicious, crunchy skin that you want from fried chicken. And the spaghetti was a nice pairing. The sauce is somewhat sweet and comes with small bits of sausage and cheese on top. Overall, I really enjoyed my first visit to Jollibee. I also think it's nice to see more places highlighting Asian culture read more
