Wow!! I have never been to a Jollibee where the line was so long! This place is definitely popular at the food court. Did I wait in that crazy line?! Of course I did. The employees did an excellent job. They had 2 employees taking orders for the customers in line so by the time you got to the register, all you had to do was tell them your name, pay, and your order would be ready. I ordered the 6 pack of peach mango pies & a pineapple quencher. They definitely don't skimp on the filling. I can never eat a peach mango pie without it getting everywhere. I never tried this before. And I was a little bit bored with what I usually get off of DoorDash and it was late, so I wanted something quick. This was absolutely the most disgusting chicken I have ever scene. I took 2 bites and threw out a 3 piece. Those 2 bites got me a little bit. nauseous. I see others review this and say it's juicy and tender. That's not juicy, that's oil. And it's drenched in oil. I blame Anthony Bourdain for my insane desire to try Jollibee. My brain just could not comprehend that spaghetti with the hot dogs and banana ketchup with American cheese. What kind of maniac would put those things together? And, as a stoner, I NEEDED to taste it. Would it be like spaghettios? Easily one of the most crispy, juicy, and flavorful piece of Fried Chicken I have tasted. Spicy version is a must try (it's difficult to get them though during peak hours). This location is in the American Dream mall, I went last year and the line was extremely long to the point where they had to stop mobile orders. I was able to order online ahead of time but honestly could've just ordered when we got there. It seems like the hype went down which is good because from what I remembered the wait was ~1hour. The chicken was crispy and tender just a bit too greasy. The mashed potatoes taste pretty standard for a fast food place. The spaghetti does contain beef and pork - partner said it is on the sweeter side as that's how Filipinos traditionally prepare it. There is a spicy version which I haven't tried. I spied the peach mango pie and the ube pie but couldn't have it. The biscuit looked back at me and so I took a bite, then another and another, until I finished it off! Biscuit was tender and delicious and you can try the gravy with it. There are some places you have to try twice... just in case. When I first visited Jollibee, it surely was different. I wasn't sure what about the food confused me. It's almost like it had taste, but also didn't. What made me realize I liked it was when I found myself craving those tenders and the sandwich again, so focused I had to make another visit. Their tenders and sandwiches are super juicy! It tasted very fresh (but not a lot of seasoning)! I suffer from an issue where my eyes are usually bigger than my stomach, so I couldn't finish it all but if you're wondering what time try first, try their tenders and/or their sandwich (spicy deluxe). Oh, and get the gravy! Just want to warn that the food kind of has no taste, but it also does. It's a weird, but good flavor, hard to describe. They are becoming very popular, so don't be surprised if you go in a little later in the day and they run out of tenders (because that's what happened to me and I was absolutely devastated... ended up by a sandwich from Jollibee and then tenders from Popeyes ) I do think it's weird that also depending on when you go, they are the ones that have to put ice in your cup for you. The first time I went, I grabbed ice from the machine. Second time, they had to give me ice. Just let the machine do it's job, people! My husband and I shared the 6pc bucket of the original and the chicken was not crispy. Some of the batter was even falling off as I picked up the scorching hot chicken. There was zero depth to the seasoning and the only flavor I could taste was salt; same goes for the gravy. I knew beforehand that the spaghetti was going to be sweet, but I didn't actually think it was going to be inedible for me. We tossed the entire thing out after trying it. Tried it for the first time today. It's a Philipino fast food chain. Line was the longest among the other food places at the same food court. It was a Saturday evening around 8 pm. Mall closed at 9 pm and there were still about 20 people on line. It took a long time to move the line because there was only one cashier. Most customers were not familiar with the menu and asked questions. It took a while for each order. Line moved very slowly. Food came out quickly. I was notified by buzzer that my food was ready. It's nice that way so it won't overcrowd the already crowded store front. I ordered 6 pc chicken for $15.99. It came with a small bowl of gravy. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Meat was tender. The meat quality is better than KFC. And also less heavily seasoned compared to KFC. The infamous peach mango pie was almost $4. It was ok. Little overrated. My kids love it though. They also offer coconut pineapple pie which I didn't try. They don't offer the ube pie which is disappointing. The pineapple quencher 16 oz was also almost $4. It's refreshing with rich pineapple flavor. My first time trying Jollibee ever! All thanks to National Fried Chicken Day and a 10 pc for $10 deal from Jollibee. I was a little iffy about this location at first since it only had three stars but reading them now, it seems like the long waits are because people ordered in person. We ordered ahead on the app on a Sunday at around 1 and had no issues. We did have to wait maybe 5 minutes for our order, but it wasn't too bad. We had the spicy 10 pc. It had a great flavor and was still hot and crispy - even with a half hour drive home! But it was a bit too salty. I would say it's definitely saltier than KFC/Popeye's (although I haven't had those in years). We also ordered extra gravy, not knowing it already came with gravy and ended up with 3 big cups of it. I know it's so bad for you but it was so good. Next up, we had the Jolly Spaghetti. I feel like this is either something you hate or your love. I'd never tried any version of it before but I knew it would be sweet. I actually really liked it, but I also enjoy banana ketchup, which is what it reminded me of. I didn't love the smokiness of the hot dogs but I would still 100% order this again. Then, we heard great things about the peach mango pie so we had to get that too. The ramen orders came and those who ordered ramen already finished eating it before I was even able to place my order at Jollibee! There are 2 registers but only 1 person working the register. I stood in line around 2:30 pm (Saturday). At 3:30 I was still waiting for the food. I had to go the register and complain! It was only then that they started fulfilling my order. They need to have a better system. I've been to another jollibee in NJ (Edison) and the lines are really long too. The food wasn't that great. I should have gone to Popeyes. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich. A part of The chicken had some weird texture - like tendon or crunchy meat. It wasn't the crunchiness from the breading, it was the chicken meat. This was my first visit to Jollibee and they did impress me. I didn't even use it. I don't really like gravy with my fried chicken. The chicken was fully cooked on the inside and super juicy. I initially wanted to order the $25 anniversary deal that is 12 pc chicken for $25, unfortunately there were only 10 pc chicken left that time, since it was almost 7pm. I was hoping that they will replace the 2 pc missing chicken with tenders but I was told that this is not possible. I think freshness is key when making friend chicken and most fast food joints have not fresh tasting chicken. AND they had gravy as a dipping sauce!! Filipino Spaghetti- they use banana ketchup in the sauce making the spaghetti sweeter. It's definitely different and not to my palette. But, I can see some people liking this.
