Started in the Philippine back in 1975 expanding across Asia, my partner and I came to this establishment for lunch at the largest mall located in East Rutherford. Nicknamed by CNBC as the McDonald's of the Philippines, I can see why the line at Jolibee for ordering was 45 minutes long. We ordered via their website the 2 Pc Chickenjoy which are pieces of hand-breaded, crispy fried chicken drumstick and thigh) served on a plate with 1 side being steamed white rice and 3 Pc Chicken Tenders with 3 hand breaded and freshly prepared all white-meat chicken tenders with 2 generous small sides of gravy hoping to save time. After ordering, prompted to go to the online pickup at a destined time, but still had to wait. Our meal was hot, served fresh and delicious. The outer part of the chicken was nice and crispy. However, there were a few instances where we were seated and and a staff started spraying and wiping the table next to us less than a few inches away. Not so good today. Even though there was virtually no wait, the fried chicken today was not up to par. My son and I got the 6 piece spicy chicken bucket. The skin fell off the drumsticks, and the thighs were tough and dry today. And when I picked up the food, I did not receive a cup for the soda. I asked for the cup, and the guy behind the register asked to see my receipt. I did not have the receipt, but luckily the server still had my receipt and showed that I ordered a soda. It is a fast food place at a food court. You order your food, find a table and they give you a buzzer that goes off when your food is ready. I liked the thin french fries a lot, the tasted like good potato chips. The coating on the chicken is great, really crunchy. They only server dark meat pieces. They only serve white meat as chicken tenders, which we had.The texture of the meat seemed ground rather than actual pieces of chicken breast. I did not like the texture. read more

This was my first time ever trying Jollibee! The location was fine and the staff was nice. My favorites were the pineapple quencher and the gravy. I wanted to eat the gravy alone, thats how good it was. I originally expected to try the tenders but they did not have any. We were not the biggest fans of the bucket of chicken. Was disappointed in the service but enjoyed the food. Came on a Sunday at noon. The line to order was long and took 7 minutes to get to register. Upon reaching the register, I was told there's a 40 minute wait for the original chicken so I didn't get chicken, which I was really looking forward to try. I also wanted a halo halo, a staple desert in Jollibee menus, and was very disappointed to find out it's not on the menu in this location. So I asked for peach mango pie instead but they were out of it. Mind you it's only noon! This Megamall wasn't even busy. I don't know what the manager is doing but clearly they need to stock up better. I was able to get palabok, coconut pineapple pie, and pineapple quencher, all fantastic atleast. However, I had to wait 15 minutes for my food after ordering, everyone else as well - they seemed slow in the back and the front just looked disorganized or inefficient. They also don't make it clear they charge extra cash if you wanted something extra like bbq sauce, which I saw happen 4 times during my 15 minute wait. Overall, I would give them 3 out of 5 stars. If you dont mind or expect the wait, then I would still recommend. read more

Drove out to American Dream specifically for Jollibee. This is the closest location to Rockland County. We got there early, ordering and service was fast. We waited maybe 10 minutes for the beeper to go off. Their spicy chicken is not for novice spice eaters like myself. It reminded me of Nashville hot level spice. The first bite was scorching!!! It fogged up my glasses! You could see the spice permeated through to the bone!! But I got through it. The gravy helped quell the heat factor. The original chicken joy was also juicy cripsy and flavorful. We also ordered the aloha burger which was a messy,greasy & juicy bundle of deliciousness. The original chicken sandwich was crispy & juicy but heavy handed with the mayo. I had to wipe off ALOT before eating the sandwich. We ordered the mango peach and coconut pineapple pies as well. Hands down the mango peach wins. Pair that with a small strawberry frosty next door at Wendy's.... . If I need a chicken joy fix I'll be back . Masarap! read more

I have had Jollibee plenty of times in New York City, but wasn't too sure why I decided to grab food here when I can access it easily in the city. There is a super long line every single time I go to the food court. The wait can be at least 20 minutes. It is a very steep price for a meal, but in my honest opinion, the chicken in the city was a tad better. I'm not entirely sure what made my experience here always subpar, but the chicken isn't as juicy and flavorful for a 20+ minute wait. I've waited in long lines before, but if my first bite isn't super juicy and makes my hunger crave more of it then I need to remember that I need to skip the line next time and get something quicker or try other things. read more

The chicken was humongous. The chicken pieces were bigger than anything I got at KFC or Popeyes. I'm pretty sure and the chicken was not dry at all. It actually had a really nice crunch to it and the meat on the inside was super juicy. It was honestly really good chicken, but it was easy to get full from. It was very fulfilling not to mention the spaghetti with their hotdog pieces in there, adding so much flavor with the cheddar cheddar cheese taste And the noodles are pretty much perfect al dente style. I mean they could be a little softer, but they can't be too soft. They were honestly pretty good. Nothing special at all. Very very expensive. We tried to order the spicy chicken but was told they don't have spicy chicken just the spicy sandwich. Disappointed already so We ordered the " chicken special" for $ 25.00. Comes with 12 piece chicken and 2 bowls of gravy. Then order 2 medium drinks, adobe rice, 1 spaghetti and 1 mango pie. Total cost $50.00. The taste of chicken was nice and crispy, nothing special. The mango pie was very good. The spaghetti was good if you liked that taste. Tried Jollibee for first time. Best fast food fried chicken on the market, simple but tasty, get the spicy version. You'll get a product that's pretty much fresh out of the fryer, super crispy and juicy and the chicken is not heavily herbed like that weed smelling chicken from KFC. And the sodium level is perfect, unlike all the overly salty competitors. However, gets 1 point deducted here because for some reason, this Jollibee in a posh Karen mall tacks on an extra 40% in price. My 3 pc chicken plus side and drink came out to $12.99. Plus $4 for parking over 1 hour. I missed the free parking for less than 1 hour cos the guy working the counter the same guy bagging the food with a line of 20 people. I ordered on the website for delivery, the order was received at 6pm and the eta was at 6:43pm. I kept checking the progress and it kept saying order received but has not progress further than that. At 6:43pm I called the restaurant and no one answered, I kept tried for about 15 minutes. I contacted customer service from the main website and still waiting to hear back. I even called Wendy's which is right next door to Jollibee and the gentleman that answered the phone told me that they are open and very slow so I'm not sure why no one answered the phone. Then at 7:50pm I got a text from Doordash( I was so confused since I didn't order through Doordash but apparently restaurants do that sometime) that a delivery was coming at 6:43pm...huh?? so I called Doordash and explained to them what happened and that I wanted to cancel this order. They went ahead and started the cancellation process and tried to call the restaurant to confirm the cancellation and guess what happen next..no one answered the phone. I still haven't heard back from anyone from Jollibee regarding this issue and my refund. It's too bad because I really like their food, so disappointed. 2/14/23 Update Still no refund, still no answer at the restaurant. This was my first time coming here and all i have to say is the customer service is the worst i've ever experienced. To start, the woman taking my order was condescending and rude after we waited for twenty minutes in line. I had paid for $50 worth of food and they gave it to me in a single paper bag. As i was leaving the kiosk, the bag ripped and the food spilled onto the floor. I went back to see if i could get a replacement or at least a refund and they took the rest of the food that didn't hit the floor back behind the counter. I was then met with Cyril, an extremely rude manager who laughed in my face while telling me it was my fault i dropped the food. In all my years of working customer service and food jobs, I have never not given a refund or at least a replacement to a customer who was unable to eat their food. This place is poorly managed and the workers are rude. I know this can't be the Jollibee standard and I understand they're understaffed but the attitude and trouble I received was completely unacceptable. read more
