The wait for chicken at this location isn't as bad as the other ones I been too.. I ordered a bucket of fried chicken which comes with 2 gravies. Also ordered their spaghetti.. I only waited for 10 mins.. which wasn't bad at all. The only downfall was that I was so excited to eat my fried chicken and it wasn't as good as I was expecting. I feel that they put too much flour on chicken. It was breaded too much and that's all I could taste was the flour. I was disappointed. Every time I touch down to Cali. First stop I go to for food is Jollibee because I love fried chicken and I love getting it from Jollibee because we don't have that in Arizona where I'm from. I enjoyed the spaghetti so thank god that was delicious. I wish they could've made the chicken good so that I would enjoy but nope. Seeing all the low reviews surprised me, HOWEVER keep in mind that I came in second day of opening weekend and again shortly after. Our service was good, everyone was smiling and calm, and the cashiers tackled the long line well. The chicken was good, spicy, and crunchy. I noticed their spicy chicken isn't sprinkled with powder unlike other places, it's already mixed in to the batter. ***This one star isn't regarding their magnificent food*** The staff members are literally playing into the typical Filipino Immigrant stereotype: Judge mental of people and blatantly talk trash about people's physical looks. I was waiting for my meal in an area that's ear shot, and I can clearly hear the staff members have conversation in Tagalog amongst each other. I can clearly understand everything they're talking about, and majority of it was playful nonsense. This is where the conversation turned into talking about me, a customer, and I have to say Im highly disappointed as a Filipino Immigrant. I don't know if it's because I don't have an accent nor have a demeanor as an immigrant(if there is actually way to act as an immigrant), but amongst each other, they out right verbally tarnished my physical features by calling me fat. I know I'm a bigger person, and I'm not irritated at that; I'm irritated at the fact that they verbally talk trash about their paying customers. If they talk trash about me, a fellow kababayan (country man), I could only imagine what they say about someone that's not. It is a cross between McDonald and KFC filipino style. They serve burgers fries Filipino style breakfast with sausage, other Marinated meats.and many others noodles dishes. Yes of course a sunny side up egg with is all. That night we ordered a bucket of fried chicken, The jolly spaghetti and of course the mango peach pies. Jolly joy chicken is one of my favorite fast food fried chicken I have ever tasted. The Ultimate food heck is that you got to make sure you get the gravy to dip the fried chicken in and fallow with a bite of rice or mash potatoes bite that turns it up to another level. The spaghetti is an Asian salad spaghetti with hotdogs yes you Heard that right hotdogs in them. The spaghetti sauce is a little bit on the Sweetside for the sauce but quite delicious and freshly made to order.(we got the family size one took about 15mins to make ) The mango peach pie were the highlight of the night. Think McDonald's apple pie crest with a peach and mango filling which is delicious, and the pineapple drinks is must get ! Overall a very delicious meal and at a very reasonable price , a welcome taste form In the Philippines. I am not sure if they are new ? Reviewing their new spicky chicken. We recently read an article that compared Popeye's spicy chicken with Jollibee's new spicy chicken. The article favored Jollibee's. And with that article in mind, we excitedly ordered the spicy chicken. All of us thought it was way too spicy. We could not eat beyond one in one sitting. My daughter, who does not eat chicken with gravy, smothered her uchicken with gravy to mute the spiciness, and ended up not finishing her meal. I think we'll stick with the regular Chickenjoy, or Popeyes, if we want spicy chicken. read more

Son and I came here today. Newly opened spot at Southland Mall. Didn't know they had a new Filipino establishment in the area with different Filipino eateries. Dry customer service for a new establishment. Food is not the same as my son and I remembered from when he was a youth. He couldn't even eat the chicken. But, he liked the spaghetti. Chicken was bland, and it seems they depend on the gravy as the seasoning. When you go to other franchised chicken spots, you know the difference in flavor. Jollibee is all about the gravy. Eating the chicken itself, nothing special, and better off cooking at home. It tasted like flour. Some of the chicken pieces still had blood. I tried something different, the burger steak with rice and gravy. Burger size were very small, similar size to slider burgers. Salty, but the gravy made it edible. It's different gravy from the chicken. Jollibee has been growing, couldn't help but to think, the quality is declining. One thing why I don't come here often at all, it's all a Filipino staff. It would be nice to step outside of the normal, and hire people of different culture to grow. Embrace the growth by hiring other culture. Otherwise, food is not all what the hype is. Declined. I just recently moved back to CA and hadn't had Jollibee in a long time, so I was excited to visit this location. I placed an order on the app and when I arrived at the time that my food should have been ready, I waited an additional 20 mins. So, prepare to wait a long time if you go to this location. As I was waiting, I noticed that as people came up to get their food, every order was wrong...literally. When I finally got my food, my order was wrong as well. As other reviewers mentioned, they didn't give me spicy chicken when I requested it. They also didn't include several other items. Luckily I was still there when I noticed it, so they fixed it. Also, they move very slow here. The guy who was in charge of packing chicken into the containers was going SLOW AF. The food was good but they are inefficient in the way they work. I will come back again to see if my second visit is different. read more

How the magkantott does this location continue to run out of SPICY chicken! Since this location opened, almost every other time, "sorry we do not have SPICY today....." Jolibees is an internationally recognized worldwide corporation, and this is unacceptable! This is like: KFC - serving only 10/11 herbs & spices Wingstop - serving their famous Garlic Parmesan wings with no garlic Popeyes - serving Cajun-less chicken I am not sure if it's a supply chain issue or poor local inventory management but this is the only location that I've been to, with continued SPICY shortages. There should be some disciplinary actions for the poorly managed inventory levels that affects the overall Jolli Customer Experience. An investigation should be conducted to determine the shortfalls or an audit to discover if there are and inventory shrinkage concerns for that delicious SPICY seasoning. This location does that the fastest wait time to get your order but that's probably because there is no Drive-Thur. Local Management, please follow Jolibees mission statement and fix this issue ASAP! Eh, not much to write home about. Pretty much every Jollibee we've gone to has been lacking, whether it's the food or the customer service. The cashier that took our order was jovial and repeated it back correctly to the tee (spicy Chicken Joy combo with buttered corn and adobo rice upgrade and palabok plate and large drink and two peach mango pies). However, upon reviewing my order after receiving it, they gave me regular chicken and not spicy, as originally requested. No matter since we were already too hungry to complain. Palabok didn't have enough sauce and the chicken was a little overdone but all in all, not bad for fast food. The only saving grace of our lunch were the peach mango pies that are by far, way superior to the McDonald's apple pies, in my humble opinion. Was pretty disappointed today. Not in the area often so I wanted to try this place. Was in line five minutes before they closed and they said they weren't taking anymore orders. The only thing upsetting here is their POS system. Could they get a better card scanner. They already lost lots of clients due to the removal of the breakfast specifically their corned beef. Now have a faulty card scanner. Tried 2 cards, 1 chase 4 times chip malfunction and 1 capital one card 2 times chip malfunction. This was our first time to this location as it is closer than going to Union City. The place is clean and the customer service was good. The food tasted decent, but wasn't fully cooked. Also, it is important to make sure you receive your meal as ordered. After consuming our meal, I realized we didn't receive an item on our order and had to return to the counter to obtain it. She was not at all "Jolly" and did not even acknowledge me when I said, "hi, how are you". Awesome. They have a covid/ social protocol going on as well, nut not sure if that has changed since the SIP order has been listed. No indoor dining tables are blocked off. If you are ordering with another person or group only one person from your group is allowed to wait inside and they limit the amount of patrons in the establishment at any one time. Not a long wait at all and I like this location because it is next to an asian market. So I can get my chicken on and do a little shopping. I have loved this since College days. My go to is usually a 2 piece spicy chicken, soda and spaghetti. It hits the spot always. They always provide napkins, eating utensils and offer condiments. Ordered through door dash and had to remove a star because of the side portions.... we ordered the family deal with a bucket of spicy ( delicious!) and three sides... i picked smashed potatoes, peach mango pie and fries.... mind you this is a FAMILY meal... they gave us a SMALL MASHED POTATOES and a SINGLE PIE which was the size of McDonald's apple pie .... what the hell!... so glad i wasn't really counting on the sides really and we really just wanted the chicken... but that's pretty ridiculous.... other than that the chicken was amazing as always... great flavor and kick... the sides that we had were pretty good.... I'm biased because I just love Jollibee in general. But I have had pretty good experiences at this location. They only let one customer in per order right now to limit capacity. You wait outside to go into the store to order. They were pretty quick and efficient in getting food out to people. I had the spicy fried chicken sandwich and it is bomb. My mouth is watering now just thinking about it. It has that great Jollibee spice mix with extra spice and jalapenos in a super crispy chicken patty, juicy on the inside, with a spicy mayo, on a super soft bun. Yum. Of course, the classics you are used to getting from Jollibee do not disappoint. The fried chicken is crispy, juicy and succulent. The spaghetti is sweet, a little cheesy, and perfect. I'm so glad that Jollibee opened up a little closer to me! I'm tired of driving all the way to UC just for some Jollibee. This location doesn't have a drive-thru because it's located on the side of Seafood City. The major difference of this location and the UC location's that this one's a tad slower even without the drive-thru but I think it's because there're more people working at the UC location compared to this one. I usually get the C2, which tastes the same as the one in UC so that's a plus! I think this location's always missing items though even in the middle of the day such as mashed potatoes and from what the girl made it sound when asked by multiple people including myself, they weren't making it anymore that day even though they weren't closing for another few hours. read more

The food is always great (Filipino fast food!) but they either don't pick up the phone to place an order or they put you on hold for 10 minutes. Also it's strange that I was told people picking up phone orders have to wait in line outside while my food was sitting there getting cold. Just avoid ordering over the phone. I want to give this Joliebee a chance, but every time I order food here, I am disappointed. My food is never hot; it's always lukewarm, especially the fries. I have tried other JOLIBEE locations and their chicken sandwiches are some of the best. However at this jolibee location, the deluxe chicken sandwiches are always slightly below average. The condiments (lettuce & tomatoes) are always rubbery. The service is just okay. The overall vibe of the restaurant is ehh. JOLIBEE is good, but I wouldn't recommend this location. They don't know how to communicate, have no customer service and move so slow.
