Workers didn't seem too happy to be there and didn't reflect the customer service you would expect. The food was good as always but the store needs some adult supervision and a good Management team. If I owned this store I would be concerned. Why spend $30 and there are other places to go that provide a cleaner place and better customer service. The food is a 4 star. The management and cleanliness is a 1. This is not a fresh store and if Wendy revolve around freshness, then they are failing their mission statement.

After a long hiatus from fast food fried chicken, I decided to revisit Jollibee, a place I hadn't tried in years, to see if anything had changed or if my memories of its flavor held true. I went to the Jollibee location in Kapolei, which is conveniently situated for anyone on the west side of Oahu. Eager to indulge, I ordered a six-piece original bucket, though I initially wanted the spicy version. Unfortunately, they informed me at the window that it would be an additional 15-minute wait for spicy, and only original was readily available. I opted for the original reluctantly. As soon as I took my first bite after pulling over to eat, the familiar taste of fried chicken hit me--the distinct flavor of juices and oils characteristic of well-fried chicken. However, a few bites in, I remembered why it had been so long since my last visit to Jollibee. While the chicken was decent, it wasn't compelling enough to offset the guilt of indulging in fast food. By the third piece, I was done and decided to give the rest away. Jollibee, while not a bad place, certainly isn't the pinnacle of fast food chicken either. There are many other fantastic fried chicken options out there, but if you're looking for a quick, budget-friendly fix or just need to satisfy a fried chicken craving, Jollibee does the job. However, I doubt it would become a regular stop in anyone's fast food rotation. read more

As a few Yelp Hawaii yelpers know, I have an immense bias for Jollibee so obviously it will be an automatic 5 stars since Jollibee is my favorite food. Anyways, for people unfamiliar with Jollibee it is pretty much Filipino American fast food. They are known for their fried chicken called Chickenjoy, Filipino style spaghetti, and (yum)burgers. I really love the chickenjoy but my favorites are their breakfastJoys, specifically, tocino sweet pork. This is their fifth and newest location in Hawaii, on the island of O'ahu. It is located within the Ka Makana Ali'i shopping center back area right near 24 hour fitness, Wendy's, etc. This location is probably the nicest stand alone Jollibee both externally and internally. They have a good amount of table and seating areas. The staff and customer service is pretty good. They also have their own parking lot. Will probably be going to this location more. read more

The food is overall good. They are slacking on giving sauce and ketchup. They gave us two packets of ketchup for two entire meals. And the other sauce is enough for one French fry. Along with all of that in the main seating area there is a huge map with "Brunei" posted there. Which just recently passed a law on stoning gay people to death. There's a huge boycott on anything to do with this country. With this being said, the fact that they have attempted to cover it in light of the disgusting news about the country, that they proudly display its name, as if they're proud. Could be taken offensively by numerous people in Hawaii as the LGBT community is HUGE here. read more

This has not been my first rodeo at jollibees. They have two locations in waipahu like right down the road from eachother. So i decided to stop at this one because it was around my way. I got fried chicken meal, which to me is great it tastes better than most fast food chicken places. Im not a huge fan of their spaghetti but its not bad, kind of sweet though. A hard granule the size of a corn kernel was in our mashed potatoes when we opened the lid. It was black like a pebble, don't know what it was.
