I grew up eating chicken and spaghetti from jollibee. I have grown accustomed to their crispy fried chicken and their delicious gravy. When they opened two branches in the San Jose area, I was ecstatic! When I first had the fried chicken (from this specific branch) the chicken was crispy and it the gravy tasted so familiar, it was almost like I was eating in one of the many of their locations in the Philippines. I also had their spaghetti, but it didn't taste quite the same from what I remembered. However, the food over all was great! The customer service was ok. Their staff seemed like they were all Filipinos. So it made it seem like I really was in the Philippines. They were a little unprofessional in a sense that they spoke Tagalog amongst themselves. And that's not a problem with me bec I speak Tagalog fluently. But for the other customers who don't, it might send the wrong impression. I do hope they improve on that aspect. Over all. My dinning experience here was great! My food tasted great and the customer service is ok. The pricing is very affordable. The moment my tastebuds tasted the fried chicken, it almost instantaneously brought me back to my childhood. I'm glad they were able to bring this franchise from overseas. I am Filipino American but I know my Flip food to the max because I have a beautiful mother who knows all about food and Filipino food! Now I understand that this place is a "fast food filipino" place but it is shameful to the people out there who have never tried filipino food. UGHHHH!! OMG, this and so flavorful and tender, this would be like the only fast food place I would go to on school trips. The customer service was so good, they recommended things for us, and they were super nice, so we made sure to leave a tip, I recommend their spaghetti, it's so tender and chewy, and the chicken is also amazing, flavorful, addicting, tender and just overall an amazing experience for such a low price, based on the quality I expected this to be 10x more expensive than McDonald's, but it wasn't, I enjoyed there and the service was very fast, if I had to rate it, I'd give it around a 10/10, all of the menu items impressed me and put me in a better mood and place, So of course, I can't keep saying that this is the best restaurant ever, and I could go here every day if I could. read more

I like Jollibee... FYI it's Filipino FAST FOOD, So if you're looking for traditional Filipino dishes, this is not the place for that...! Some call it the Filipino version of McDonald's, but I come here for their breakfast menu, Filipino spaghetti, and their crispy chicken! They have different silogs for breakfast till 11AM! My favorite is their tocilog! I love their garlic rice, and they offer free coffee too! When it's not breakfast I order their spaghetti with crispy chicken! They now have a spicy version of their chicken joy which is also pretty good with gravy! And for desserts I'd recommend their halo-halo and pies! This is ridiculous to say, but this Jollibee has been a fast-food game changer for my family and I. Coming from Colorado, we didn't have access to any Jollibee locations. We just had fried chicken like KFC and Church's for the most part. But, the fried chicken here tastes decent and is a great deal. But, it is really nice to get a small flavor of Philipino cuisine. I've tried to go to more authentic restaurants, but I was way more impressed with Jollibee. I'm a fan of the texture and taste of the Palabok Fiesta Noodles. The spaghetti and hotdog is decent. But, the sweeter tomator sauce may be a little bit off-putting from some people. I definitely like their halo-halo though. The shaved ice, sweet beans, flan, and jackfruit/ube ice cream are a great combination together. At Jollibee, the halo-halo is very affordable and tasty. Although we've never had a Jollibee from another location yet, this one is just perfect for us. There is never that long of a line and we've never been disappointed with the food. We've tried to go to the Jollibee location at the Great Mall, but we much prefer this one due to less people and faster service. read more

Yes, I love Jollibee spaghetti or as the philipinos say Esspaghetti. It's also nice to eat chicken with out the nice chunks of slimy fat, so I would say the chicken is somewhat joyful. Did you realize that this place does birthday parties? I know, I know... who in their right mind would do a birthday party at Jollibee, I mean Chuck E. Cheese is right down the street. There's no slides, no video games, no prizes to redeem your tickets, but this place goes back to basics when it comes to Filipino family fun. We came in at 4:00 with the music bumpin' ( I didn't know this place turned into a club at night!). As the family gathered, the kids ran around while the staff prepared the jollibee containers, mango peach pies and yumburgers to serve. After 20 minutes of feasting the festivities began! Our very exuberant host came out on the magic mic to announce the first game. Simple but effective. Kids had to say "Happy Birthday Justinnnnnnnnnnnnnnn" and hold it for as long as possible. Just simply having a mic in hand was enough to get some competitive participation. Second game was musical chairs to the best Wowowee like music ever! The host was energetic enough to keep the game going even after 20 or so rounds. The final game was a scavenger hunt ( a cheap way to make sure everyone got a prize) homeboy would give a prize to the first kid to run up with various items. Finally a person in a very cute Jollibee suit came out to entertain the crowd with picture taking and yes..... break dancing! HAHA! The bee topped off the party with a pull string pinata and the birthday cakes. So.... whala.... birthday party Jollibee style! So yes Jolly Bee, you get a 5 star rating from me! I love Jollibee for whatever they make. My friends unfortunately got me addictted to this place. There is a huge jollibee mascot out the backdoor and you can have your kids parties here and Jollibee show up to your party if you want. Anyways the menu is great, service is good, food is good. This place is always packed!!! They need to open a new one! No matter what time you go there is always lots of people. They do close at 9pm and we barely made it in at 8:45pm because we forgot they close so early. Staff members were hustling and cleaning while trying to close. They took our order before we got tot he front of the line in an effort to get our meal started. We ordered on of their big platters for a late night dinner. The chicken was very good and crispy to perfection. Will be coming back here to eat just hope that they figure out a way to make it more efficient. I strongly suggest they open another location nearby because it would help them not be so overcrowded and wait time to be less than what it was. We waited a total of 30 min for our order to be ready. Needless to say I didn't check out their bathrooms and there was nowhere to sit. The staff themselves were all young basically except a few who seemed to have plenty of experience with customer service. Parking wasn't too bad, but I'm sure it could have been way worse. I love jollibee foods but I gave 1 star review because of lady manager in the afternoon duty. She's making fun of customers by repeatedly copying their accents and words. Today, she repeatedly saying "ayuda" when the latino customer left the store. She is mean, loud and disrespecting customers and laughing out loud inside the store. Another filipino customer speaks english and she also did the same thing, started making fun of her accents while initiating others to say the same and laughing out loud while serving other customers. She also whispers "nakakainis ang arte". Try to know who she was, she's also tried to embarassed her co-manager in front of customers. I used to like this place....when barely anyone knew of Jollibee. I think that a lot of filipinos have taken it for granted. No home cook meals except for fast food "filipino" style spaghetti and chicken. What happened? I've only liked this place or Cindy's whenever I was visiting the Philippines. The food here isn't the same. Plus, they took off the Jollidog? (hot dog) off the menu. Why? I know that they're well-known for their spaghetti and fried chicken, but what makes their food so special? At least the place is friendly, low prices in food, and they can accommodate a large birthday party for the kids. They don't have a drive-thru window, so that gives this place another star knocked off. Now they're making a Milpitas location? Hmmmm...i wonder if they'll franchise Cindy's in the US too. read more

Yeah, not all of the food here is your usual Filipino food, but the Filipino food is still there. I was glad to know that there's a Jollibee restaurant in San Jose because prior, you have to go up as far as Daly City or Union City. Not fun at all. The people are good to me. Oh and as surprising as this sounds, I prefer their fries over the fries in any American restaurant chain. It's cheaper to go to McDonald's for a standard cheeseburger meal? Wrong. A TLC combo is around 3.80 or so. If you were to get the same sort of combo at McD's, it's less than $4.10...before tax. Oh, did I mention that this is before you add a tomato, which is another 20 cents, and lettuce, which is another 10 cents if you are at a McD's that charges you for lettuce? You paid another dollar if you can't seem to find a way to cut the price down. Flaws? You'll either like the place or hate it. It does suffer from the usual "Mom's food" scenario. Palabok's no exception. So, yeah, if you need something instant, go to Jollibee's. It's not the best out there, but it's something that'll keep you fulfilled for the time being. This location is consistent with others. Ordering is quick. Food is fine. Most things are typical for fast food while other items are unusual in America, which makes it interesting. Everything came quickly except the mashed potato. Every employee is amazingly nice, polite, patient and just great to interact with. Customer service and food is always good. Lisa was very nice and took the time to explain any inquiries we had about our order. Everyone including the employees were wearing masks which was comforting to see especially during this pandemic. However, while waiting for our food an employee named Rah took her mask twice off to call a number out. Other employees said the number out multiple times. Mind you there was only 4 other people waiting in the store and clearly no one responded because it was not their number. We were able to hear her call the number with the mask on so it was VERY unnecessary to remove it less than 2 feet away from where I was standing. She also had gloves on where she was touching multiple surfaces. She opened the door, her phone and the counter where food was being served. I believe she's the manager. Not a good example of taking COVID-19 protocol while multiple signs in the store of wearing a mask is mandatory. read more

Ahhh yes ... the Filipino McDonald's. The spaghetti here is MUCH sweeter than the typical Filipino spaghetti. If you're not too crazy about sweets or sweet meat, I suggest you skip it. I personally think it's pretty good (: The Chickenjoy is very crispy. The skin usually completely falls off in one or two bites though. The spicy Chickenjoy is REALLY spicy! It'll burn your mouth, but it tastes so good! The Peach Mango Pie is SO YUMMMYYY. Not too sweet and crisp on the outside. The customer service is great. The staff is always very friendly. The first time I tried Jollibee, I absolutely fell in love with them! Their menu is incredibly wide in variety, from fried chicken to burgers to rice plates to spaghetti and more. There's so much variety that if you have picky kids, they'll definitely like something from the menu. Even though the entrees are bomb, I think the desserts are even better. Generally, I do not like Filipino food nor do I like fast food, but once in a while I do like Jollibee (but only for the chicken)! The chickenjoy is yum sarap, especially with the gravy! The palabok is mediocre...If I *had to have palabok, I'd rather go to red ribbon across the street and get my palabok there. I do not like the burgers and the spaghetti is not that good. Every time I see it on the menu "spaghetting pababa, pababa ng pababa..." starts playing in my head. The workers are nice but the service is quite slow...they really do run on Filipino time. After upgrading 3 thigh pieces for breasts, the total for the order came out to about $18. The breast pieces were tiny. The chicken was freshly fried and was good but not really that special. I always dread coming here because of the rude, wannabe bougie, older Filipinos. They always look down on you if you're not carrying a fake Louis Vuitton (or Bootahn is how they'd pronounce it) like them lol. Anyways... Customer service is alright. They're never mean or rude to you, so that's welcoming. It's really limited seating so I would suggest planning on taking your stuff home if you're here in the afternoon on a weekend. As for the food, you can never go wrong with the fried chicken. It's always nice and crispy. I do think it needs a bit more seasoning in the batter, but dipping it in the gravy seems to help a lot. On my most recent visit, I got the palabok and 2pc chicken combo. The sauce was missing a bit more flavor. It was just ok. It does take a bit of time if it's busy, wouldn't recommend if you're on a tight time crunch. And for dessert, there's always Red Ribbon next door or their very own langka pie (yum!). read more

We usually go for 'silog breakfast. Not bad for $6. The spaghetti is pretty good as well. Sometime I'll buy a huge tray for the family, and eat the leftovers for lunch the next day. Seating kinda sucks, but that's okay. We usually order to go. I'm not a huge fan of the chicken or burgers, but once in a while I'll order a bucket of chicken. Never had a burger there. First impression: I have came here a few times and found nothing special compared to other Jollibee places. The location seems pretty off to me since there are no other food places around. The staff seemed unfriendly and the guys seemed rude! I was very disappointed since this was coming from a "Filipino" place where their usually known for being friendly. Their spaghetti, chicken & sandwiches are a bit on the normal side, well I wouldn't expect too much since this place doesn't seem as busy as others. Last Impression: I can't complain too much about this place since it's close to home but I think I would drive an extra mile just to have a fresh spaghetti from a different Jollibee.
