The employee was super sweet and got the manager who said she couldn't make it again. I said okay, threw my masubi in the trash, and started walking out. The manager offered me a drink instead, as i was leaving - what's the difference between a $7 boba drink and my $9 masubi order? Pros: Huge parking lot shared with a bunch of quiet businesses including the currently vacant Joann's. That's a huge plus over most other rwc boba places , all downtown. It's cheaper than most bbt places in the local area, both for food and drinks. A decent amount of seating, store looks renovated recently. Huge menu of drinks, appetizers and apparently they do meals such as rice bowls now. Cons: Food was ok, not memorable. We had the matcha mochi waffle which felt really greasy, the popcorn chicken which was nothing special, and 3 underwhelming drinks (mango milkshake which my son was meh about, a Thai / classic tea that I thought was ok, and an Oreo milk boba that my daughter enjoyed). I arrived right on time, but was told that it was not ready. Took about another 10-15 minutes before it was ready. Despite the additional wait time (boo!), good news is that everything arrived piping hot and crispy. Good sized portions to share among 3 people and it satisfied the craving. I'd also been craving a banana milk but I could not find many places that have this, so I was happy to try this one and it was noted as fresh banana milk. I visit this location almost every other week because I love the variety within their drink menu. However my last order was disappointing. I ordered online with a 30 minute wait. My order: jumbo mango drink with green tea and honey boba (4/5), Oreo drink (0/5) my nephew took one sip and said it was 'mid', spam musubi had too much rice (3/5). I arrived 45 minutes later and the 2 employees kept talking to each other and did not acknowledge me for a few minutes. I made eye contact with one employee and he just turned around and went to the back. The other employee finally turned around and asked if I needed something. No greeting. Quickly is one of my boba go-tos because it's reliable and they have a good menu. This location was not it. They only had two staff members working on a busy Sunday evening, and with the number of customers plus all the online orders, it was overwhelming for them. Only one person was making drinks, so the wait time for orders was really long. My food order was wrong, I paid extra for sauce and a bag but didn't get it. I didn't bring it up since the workers were clearly swamped, and I know what it's like to be in that position. The dining area was on the dirtier side, but I understand it's hard to keep up with cleaning when you're understaffed. On the plus side my winter melon tea was good! My main suggestion would be for management to schedule more than two people during busy times, especially on weekends. There is plenty of parking in the shopping center's lot. The spacious spot is clean and tidy with tables and chairs inside. No seating nor tables outdoors, though. Below are the items that we ordered: Reese's Peanut Butter with fresh Banana Snow - V said that this was a good drink. Matcha Milk Tea with Boba & Grass Jelly - No matcha taste at all. Total fail. Probably the worst matcha milk tea that I have ever had, unfortunately. Lychee Green Tea with Lychee Jelly - Cielo enjoyed this drink. It annoys me when owners of popular chains bank on the popularity of their drinks/food and skimp on everything else. I visit this location because of convenience, but if there was any other option I'd take it. My observations from today - none are unique to this visit: - Hot as hell in there. There's no AC. Of course there isn't. Cheap owner needs to keep their costs as low as possible. - Disgusting bathroom. It doesn't look like it's ever cleaned. - Generally unclean. Tables, floors, walls, salt/pepper and chili powder shakers. - Short staffed. There was one older lady trying the best she could but she was taking in-person orders, phone orders, and making the drinks. Customers were waiting at the register wondering if they'd ever get their orders taken. - I was over charged. I ordered two regular size drinks but later noticed I was charged for the large size. I didn't make a deal about it because it's just a $1 more, but next time I'll pay more attention to what she's entering. - The popcorn chicken was served in a brown paper bag. Not a branded or thicker bag but a plain ole brown bag. These are the faults of the owner skimping wherever they can and don't give AF about their customer's experience. I will not return to this Quickly location. We ordered two food bowls (Popcorn chicken over Lo Mein and Fried tofu over rice) and two drinks (sesame slush and papaya slush). The order took over one hour and when I checked with the staff at the counter, she was rude and not able to provide time estimate/status of our order. We finally received our order after 1 hour and 20 minutes. My Lo Mein noodle tasted like stale/expired instant noodle. The tofu rice was ok. Day #2 same thing ordered 3 drinks and the wait was ridiculous at a not so busy time ( no line, no online orders beeping away ). This is really bad for a place with a name of QUICKLY - Drinks were alright but food room temp since it was sitting there. I recently visited this place. It has no running water in the restroom and it seems the water is manually stopped by not having the faucet on sink. This presents a serious public health issue. The employee working that day was friendly and helpful differentiating the different style of drinks as well as offering us to try the different toppings we were unfamiliar with.
