From the first consultation through recovery, the entire team demonstrated professionalism, compassion, and genuine care. The office staff is friendly, organized, and welcoming, making each visit smooth and stress-free. What truly sets this practice apart is Dr Gabbaypour's exceptional bedside manner and empathy. Both my children and I felt heard, respected, and reassured throughout the process. Dr. Gabbaypour took the time to explain everything clearly, answer questions thoroughly, and make sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. My children's wisdom teeth extractions went smoothly, and their recoveries were much faster than we expected. My bone graft procedure was handled with incredible skill and care, and I always felt confident that I was in excellent hands. One thing that particularly impressed me was the personal follow-up after the procedures. Receiving follow-up calls to check on our recovery and well-being demonstrated a level of patient care that is increasingly rare. It was clear that the team genuinely cared about our outcomes and comfort long after we left the office. The combination of clinical excellence, compassion, and personalized attention makes this practice truly exceptional. I would highly recommend this office to anyone in need of oral surgery. Our family is grateful for the outstanding care we received, and we would not hesitate to return if needed. Thank you , Dr. Gabbaypour, for providing such a positive experience.

I went to this Dr. Gabbaypour after being referred for an impacted upper wisdom tooth. My general…read moredentist wasn't comfortable removing it due to its position, so I was sent here. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. During the consultation, I felt judged and talked down to for not having my wisdom teeth removed earlier. I was told that at 31, I was "old" for this procedure, and that complications would be higher because I hadn't done this when I was younger. This felt unnecessary and dismissive, my teeth had never caused issues before, and I had only ever been advised to remove them if they became a problem. I also felt that there was little acknowledgment that not everyone undergoes procedures like this early on, whether due to personal, medical, or financial reasons. The tone came across as more critical than informative. Paying to have all 4 teeth removed at once when you're young is not only unnecessarily traumatic, but it is EXPENSIVE. That is why my parents never had me do it at a young age. I was also told that I had to be put under anesthesia for the procedure. I explained that I had all my other wisdom teeth removed with only local anesthesia and was hoping to do the same. However, I was told that wouldn't be possible in my case. No clue why. Just sounded like he wanted to charge the extra that it would have cost and make some extra money. Uncomfortable with both the tone of the appointment and the insistence on general anesthesia, I decided to seek a second opinion. Another oral surgeon confirmed that general anesthesia was NOT required for this procedure and successfully removed the tooth using only local anesthesia. I'm sharing this so others feel empowered to get a second opinion, especially if something doesn't sit right. My experience here felt more pushy and judgmental than informative or patient-centered.

She is very efficient and very gentle. I did not feel at all any pain or discomfort while she worked on my tooth. I got a temporary crown which aside from some very minor sensitivity, felt good and I was able to chew my food comfortably . when I came back to have my permanent crown cemented. Dr. Taline asked me if I needed or wanted to be anesthetize for it I opted not to be numb. her assistant, Natsumi was very gentle and thoughtful. She continually checked on me to make sure I was comfortable while she was removing the temporary crown .The whole appointment was very quick. My crown needed very minor adjustments before it was cemented and the shade was perfect. I have referred friends to this office because I truly believe they genuinely care about their patients and the quality of their work. thank you to the front desk staff for fitting me in right away. What gave me pause was that I've consulted other orthodontists in the past about Invisalign for small cosmetic concerns, and the consistent feedback had always been that my teeth were already well aligned and moving them could potentially create more issues than benefits. Because of that, I felt uncomfortable with how quickly extensive treatment was recommended for what appeared to be relatively minimal contact points, especially when continued night guard use was dismissed as a "band-aid." Seeing so many Invisalign ads throughout the office did not help that feeling. While these recommendations may be appropriate for some patients, I personally left feeling more sold to than educated, and uncomfortable with how my questions were met with defensiveness. I ultimately decided to seek care elsewhere. Everyone in the office was kind (although another reviewers mention of the stepford wives vibes isnt far off), so I feel bad leaving a review especially over a subjective experience but I think it's important to share and encourage patients to ask detailed questions, explore conservative options as well, and make sure they feel fully informed before committing to extensive treatment.

Then I met the billing department. How is it that the people holding sharp metal tools near my face were the most reassuring part of the experience? Every time I called about a bill, I got a different explanation. The numbers moved around more than a politician's campaign promises. I'd ask a simple question and somehow leave the conversation with three new questions and less confidence than when I started. And the callbacks? Let's just say if I ever go missing, I hope the police don't use this office's billing department to follow up on leads. The frustrating part is that the actual dental care was excellent. The entire experience was fantastic, and the difference in my smile was immediately noticeable. My teeth look incredibly clean and are several shades lighter. Before the whitening treatment, I received a very thorough teeth cleaning. The hygienist was gentle and did an excellent job. The whitening process itself was highly comfortable, and I felt completely relaxed the whole time. An unexpected bonus was the high-tech diagnostic process. They took detailed three dimensional scans that mapped out my teeth, jaw, and skull. The doctor took the time to go over the images with me, explaining how my teeth and jaw alignment connect to my overall health. It was fascinating to learn so much during what was supposed to be a simple cosmetic visit. The customer service is outstanding, and the technology they use is impressive. If you want to brighten your smile and get a truly detailed look at your dental health, I highly recommend this place.

I immediately saw my general dentist, who recommended that the tooth be extracted and replaced with an implant. As you can imagine, I was extremely nervous and anxious about the idea of oral surgery. I reached out to Dr. Sam Vahedi's office, and from the very first interaction, they were incredibly accommodating and professional. They understood the urgency of my situation and scheduled me promptly, which immediately helped put me at ease. The moment I walked into the office and met Dr. Vahedi, I felt calm and reassured. He has a very confident yet kind demeanor that instantly builds trust. They performed a CT scan, and Dr. Vahedi took the time to thoroughly explain exactly what was going on and what the plan would be. He explained that the first step would be extracting the broken tooth, which had three roots. During the procedure, he carefully numbed the area. There was only minimal discomfort with the numbing, and after that, I truly did not feel any pain at all. I could feel some pressure and hear some crunching, but there was absolutely no pain. Throughout the entire process, I felt completely confident in Dr. Vahedi's technical expertise and knowledge. It was clear that I was in very capable hands, and sure enough, he did a magnificent job. His assistant, Heidi, was also wonderful--very attentive, reassuring, and kind. I was so relaxed during the procedure that they actually thought I had fallen asleep! That alone speaks volumes about how comfortable and stress-free the experience was. I will be returning in several months for the next steps of my implant process, and I am extremely grateful that Dr. Sam Vahedi is my oral surgeon. If anyone ever asks me who they should see for oral surgery, extractions, or implants, I will unconditionally and enthusiastically recommend Dr. Vahedi. An outstanding experience from start to finish.

Update after owner's response:…read more Dr. Kalasho, I appreciate your response. You're correct that my experience occurred several years ago. I recently discussed dentists with a friend and realized I had never shared my experience publicly. In fact, I had written down most of my thoughts shortly after the events occurred but never got around to posting them. I also want to clarify that my concern was never whether a procedure was covered by insurance. My concern was that I often felt encouraged toward higher-cost treatments without receiving explanations that gave me confidence they were necessary. For example, when I was told I needed a deep cleaning, I don't recall being given a clear explanation based on the condition of my teeth at the time beyond the fact that I had received one previously. Regarding the Invisalign issue, my frustration was not the outcome itself, but how it was handled. I raised concerns beforehand, incurred additional expense afterward, and felt dismissed when I returned seeking help. I also noticed that your response did not address one of the main points in my review: the way additional services were often presented as being "free" or costing very little because they could be applied against the $150 deposit or membership credit I had already paid. Regardless of intent, that approach never felt transparent to me and contributed significantly to my loss of trust in the practice. I recognize that many patients have had positive experiences with TruGlo. My review simply reflects my own experience and the reasons I ultimately chose to seek care elsewhere. I did receive your voicemail yesterday and plan to return your call today. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I really wanted to like TruGlo. The offices are beautiful (especially the Beverly Hills location), the staff is friendly, and the reviews are stellar. Unfortunately, after being a patient for several months, I completely lost trust in the practice and ultimately switched dentists. A few examples: 1) The upselling and pricing explanations never sat right with me. One of the first recommendations I received was for a deep cleaning, which is significantly more expensive than a standard cleaning. When I asked why it was necessary, the primary explanation seemed to be that I had received one in the past. Maybe there were legitimate reasons, but I never felt like I received a clear explanation based on the actual condition of my teeth and gums. In fact, the hygienist also said she could not do a standard cleaning because she could 'be held liable'. I was shocked. More broadly on more than one occasion, I often felt pressured to add services and then told they were essentially "free" or "only a few dollars" because the charges could be applied against my $150 deposit or membership credit. That logic never made sense to me. It's still my money. It felt like the office would recommend additional treatments and then use money I had already paid to make the cost sound insignificant. The whole thing felt more like a sales tactic than transparent healthcare pricing. What really made me question things was when I showed my treatment plan and charges to a few dentist friends. Several of them were surprised by some of the extra fees and told me those were things many dentists typically don't charge for separately. I understand every office is different, but by that point it was hard not to feel like the practice was looking for every opportunity to bill for something. 2) I lost confidence after a crown procedure. Before getting a crown, I specifically told the dentist that I used Invisalign and even brought my trays with me. I was assured the crown would be shaped so my trays would still fit afterward. The crown itself was fine, but my Invisalign trays no longer fit. I ended up having to spend hundreds of dollars and significant time getting new trays made. To make matters worse, the office later told me they would try to help by providing a complimentary scan. Based on that conversation, I made a special trip back to the office, only to be told when I arrived that they couldn't do it after all. The whole interaction felt very dismissive. No one seemed particularly concerned that I had made the trip based on their earlier assurances, and there was little effort to take accountability for the situation. 3) The stellar reviews make more sense now. Patients are offered complimentary services (such as fluoride treatments) in exchange for leaving a review, and you're asked to show the review before receiving the free service. While everyone is free to leave whatever review they want, it definitely made me view the overwhelmingly positive ratings a little differently. To be fair, the office is beautiful and many of the employees are genuinely kind. But between the upselling, the Invisalign issue, the communication problems, and the review incentives, I ultimately decided to take my dental care elsewhere.
