Small Jelati with mango, passion fruit & peach! And vanilla soft serve
    Celina V.

Ooof this place gets busy!! Small parking lot but luckily I was able to snag a spot. Came on a Saturday night around 11pm and there was a line that wrapped around the building! They do have seating available. We honestly debated leaving but asked a group next to us and they said we had to try it! Plus the line didn't take too long. I ordered a small jelati. You can choose up to 3 flavors with your choice of soft serve. I got mango, passion fruit, and peach with the vanilla soft serve. Loved all of it!! Will def be back to try more! :)

Wow Johnnys Italian ice!! I've come here multiple since June and their treats are so delectable. Not too sweet as well, such a cooling treat for the summer I've also gotten the swirl, hard shell, with Oreo such a yummy treat if you want something more on the chocolate side! Even if you see a long line it moves pretty fast, there are also non dairy! I docked a star since one day the Shirley temple/Rocket Pop flavor was watery and it got all over my had. I've had the Shirley temple before in its normal consistency so I was disappointed. Otherwise I hope they stay consistent!! They rotate flavors, I like the concept of the caulk board but I do home they add a digital one, people stand in front of the flavors so it's hard to see.

This is going to be an accumulation of 10+ visits the past two months. Judging by that you can tell how much my friends and I love this place. It's so refreshing, extremely affordable, and they're extremely kind. Personally I love their sundae and pineapple mango combo. Whether it be a soft serve or Italian ice. It's just really good. Goodluck with parking because people can be extremely questionable. Service remarkably fast!!

Delicious Italian ice!! Definitely get it paired with their soft serve. I tried the mango with the vanilla and was pleasantly surprised by how good this was! I'm a big fan of a similar spot in Sacramento so was happy to see this open in the south bay. The soft serve was creamy and the mango was tart. They have a pretty decent selection of flavors (italian ice + soft serve), and in general, it's not too sweet either! Only docking a star because the parking lot (and line) can get rather chaotic... we visited just around lunch time and it was a struggle just trying to get into the lot. Once we did find a parking spot, the line itself felt very disorganized (and cramped, since there wasn't a ton of space between the parked cars and ordering window). Not sure if this is something they can improve just given the nature of the space, but keep it in mind if you plan on visiting!

LOVE the soft serve here and LOVE the staff even more! Everybody working tonight was super friendly and I really appreciated that. The prices are affordable which in 2026 I really appreciate as well. On a Tuesday evening, it wasn't too crowded. The vanilla soft serve was so light and rich at the same time.... not sure how they do it but it was great. Almost like whipped cream. Yum! I'd come back for sure.

We came to Jonny's on a Wednesday around 5PM and there was no wait. They have a huge selection of flavors, including cotton candy, Shirley Temple, sour apple, root beer, strawberry, Rocket Pop, lemon, mango, peach, strawberry kiwi, churro, black cherry, and more. Prices: * Small: $4.10 * Regular: $4.78 * Large: $5.49 I tried the mango and strawberry Italian ice. It tasted like your classic Italian ice. It doesn't taste too different from other spots, but still refreshing and worth a stop on a hot day. The only downside was that the soft serve melted really quickly, so you'll want to eat it fast!

Line at 7:30 pm on a weeknight

Came by for dessert the other night and it was a decent experience. Jonny's Italian Ice is under the same ownership as Falafel Drive In in the same parking lot. Parking was extremely difficult. Even the orthodontist office next door was full. The like was ~20 or so people on a weeknight evening and the line moved relatively quickly, maybe 10-15 minutes since there were 3 ordering counters. Opted for a small vanilla cone chocolate dipped. I thought the consistency was almost identical to Dairy Queen. Pricing was under $5 for a small chocolate dipped vanilla cone.

Excellent Italian ice & soft serve! Friday lunchtime is a madhouse for parking because of their Falafel Stop business right across but the vibes are unbeatable! I felt like I was in Santa Cruz on a beautiful sunny day. My work friends and I ordered lunch first to go and the line got shorter for Jonny's haha. Workers are friendly and informative. I asked how many flavors we could get for the jelati (Italian ice on the bottom, soft serve up top) since customers seemed like they were only getting one flavor. The awesome employee said people normally get 1-2 but others like 3+ so go wild! I got 2 flavors. They also dispense the soft serve as the base so there's lots of layers. Orders: *Chocolate vanilla twist with peach + red cherry ice *non-dairy orange lemon twist with coconut ice *Vanilla soft serve with mango ice *Vanilla soft serve with peach ice The soft serve is creamy and the Italian ice is made with fresh fruit! I could taste the peach bits and my friend's coconut flavor had some dried coconut. 3 sizes for jelati and the small is ~$4! I got medium for less than $5. They have sundaes and shakes too. You can get your soft serve dipped in chocolate and it'll turn into a crunchy shell! Super popular place for a reason. Can't wait to go back!

An OK Italian Ice Creamery. While this place is fairly new and hyped up, my lady and I expected to wait a while. It's nice to hear that pups eat free though I'm not all too sure if serving a straight up dollop of vanilla soft serve is okay for dogs, I was expecting something similar to a pupcup / whipped cream. I think the portion you get for what you pay for is OK, I personally would have liked to see more vanilla soft serve but that's probably just me.

This place is always so busy we always end up driving away because it's too crowded to even attempt parking. But we swung by just to see and finally caught a slower window! We got parking and there was barely any wait. We got the gelati and really enjoyed our combo of flavors. The prices are reasonable and it's a nice little treat. I wouldn't bother if it looks crazy busy but it's worth it if it's during a slow time!

New go to spot for a warm weather treat. Highlights: - Lots of flavors to choose from on the blackboard - My fave flavors: mango and peach, pina colada is good as well - Ice is more condensed and less sweet than I imagined--in a good way - Says from real fruit - Jellati: version with the soft ice cream mixed in on the bottom and top is so good - Seating: few round tables outside and some tables inside and airy kind of gardeny looking space Midlights - Can get up to quite a long line - Small parking lot shared with Falafel Stop can get full Lowlights - Out of dairy free soft serve first day I came, but another time they had it

Very solid spot. I got the gelati with swirl soft serve on top and mango + passionfruit for the ice. Flavors were good and they loaded the cup even though I got a small. Prices were very good imo. Only issue with me is how crowded it is.

Medium Strawberry Kiwi & Small Mango Coconut Jelati
    Rachel L.

To preface, the only other Italian ice I've had is Rita's. This spot honestly blew them out of the park for me. I got the Mango Coconut Jelati. The texture of the soft serve was amazing, and the mango coconut Italian ice was so soft and refreshing. I loved the coconut shavings in the ice. It tasted a lot less artificial than I expected. For the quality and price (around $4 for the Jelati) this spot is excellent! The line was quite long on a Tuesday around 8:30PM, but it moved really fast! Only waited about 15 minutes to get our order and the line wrapped around the store. Very cute seating area outside that's fenced off. Also looks like some sort of cafe is attached.

Their butterscotch actually reminded me of the ice cream back home: creamy, flavorful, and with that signature butterscotch crunch. I loved it! Unfortunately, over the years I've noticed the quality really decline. The butterscotch flavor now tastes more like the versions I've tried elsewhere in the U.S., almost like vanilla ice cream with a few drops of butterscotch flavoring added. That rich taste and, most importantly, the crunch that made it so good are basically gone. I really hope Nirvanaah brings back the original recipe and quality. It used to be one of the few places where I could get butterscotch ice cream that genuinely tasted like the kind I grew up loving in India.

While I truly enjoyed him as a person, I can't say I loved the gelato. I like that they have different-colored spoons for the vegan options so they are clearly distinguishable from the non-vegan options. But, I think it's strange that you can't sample to determine which option you like. You basically have to go all in and hope for the best. I mentioned being on the fence about which flavor to choose because I already have a favorite passionfruit gelato at another shop (see reviews). The maybe owner boasted about winning awards and how it would be much better than my favorite. I loved his confidence, so I decided to go with half lychee and half passionfruit as they are two of my favorite fruits and sorbet flavors. I thought they both were just okay, not as creamy as I expected and too sweet for my taste. I love passionfruit because it's typically sour and refreshing; this one was good, but it was sweeter than I expected it to be, taking away from the fruits' tangy, citrusy sourness. The lychee was even more sweet, and I feel like the floral and slightly tart flavors didn't come through because of that. I didn't finish my small cup, which isn't completely uncommon for me when it comes to sweets that are too sweet. I'm not sure if I would come back to try more flavors because I didn't enjoy what should be my top two flavors and I'm not able to try before I buy.
