My boyfriend needed a sports jacket for a wedding we were attending out of state so we stopped into Jos. A. Bank while we were out shopping. Upon walking into the store we noticed everything was neat and organized. The manager, Neil, greeted us warmly and proceeded to show my boyfriend all of the options within his price range. Since there was a sale going on, my boyfriend ended up ordering a custom made sports jacket which was ideal since he often has trouble finding jackets that fit because he's over 6 feet tall. Not only did he get to choose the pattern/color of the jacket but he also go to choose other options like having his initials on the inside of his jacket, and what color stitching he wanted. Usually the alternations take weeks to do but because we were on a tight deadline due to the wedding we had to attend, Neil was gracious enough to expedite the alternations my boyfriend needed. My boyfriend's sports jacket fits so well! I'd recommend this place for anyone who is looking for affordable custom made clothing. Be sure to ask for Neil. He was awesome! read more

My experience at this store completely contradicts all of the feedback I've seen, here. I ordered 2 suits online using their Cyber Monday deal and had them shipped to this store to avoid shipping charges. The manager, Jim, and the employee that helped size my suits, Adam, were both extremely professional and eager to help in any way possible. Very poor customer service from rude employee. I was contracted to come pick up the pants that were tailored. When I called to ask what time they closed do I could pick then up I was accused I had to be there at least 1 hour before they closed. I was ok with this and came over in plenty of time. The employee was extremely short and unprofessional. He handed me the pants and given my expression, asked if I wanted to try them on. I said yes and he escorted me to a fitting room. I tried the pants on and found the length be to short for my liking. When I told him he immediate told me I was wrong and I got exactly what I asked for. He even took me to a mirror to tell me again that I was wrong. Finally fed up, I told him I was not happy with them and wanted them to be longer. He was very irritated and said to change back and he'd ring me up to charge me again. I explained I wouldn't pay to have them fine correctly add I already paid for that. He refused and I explained to him that I would take the pants, but wouldn't bring any more business to this business again. I did write to the corporate offices and never received a response. I assume they must get plenty of business to be unwilling to answer customer complaints or provide a good customer experience. read more

I posted a review a couple of weeks ago about a very dismal experience I had at this store and with the store manager. You can find that review nearby. That review accurately described my experience. And my disappointment as a loyal Jos. A. Bank customer for literally decades. All that said, after posting that review, I was contacted by Jos. A. Bank customer service staff who were quite responsive in jumping in (even amidst this pandemic moment and shutdown) to rectify the situation with an apology; full credit for my returned sweater; and some modest additional credit on top of that. So my original review was accurate and that store manager should find a job outside of retail. However, it is important to also acknowledge good customer service such as what I received in the aftermath of this situation. read more

Concur with all other raters here. Avoid, avoid, avoid this store. I needed a suit, have to go separates due to V-shaped build. They had no idea if they had pants to match any of the separate coats. So I went online and ordered the separates, same line and same pattern/color. The suit showed up in only a few days (good), matched (good), but the pants were too tight (bad). I called and corporate customer service said I could return the pants to a local store and they would immediately send new pants, or we could mail back, wait for them to receive, and they'd mail new ones. Obviously returning in store is the way to go to expedite... I couldn't have been more wrong. The employee who "greeted" me was openly hostile the second I said I needed to return something. Without looking at the pants, he told me I had to return them via the mail. I told him I had spoken with corporate and they stated that was not the case. Then came a long string of "I can't" & "I don't know how" statements that were too forceful and arrogant to even recall beyond the smirk on his face. 2 days later, my wife has called corporate customer service, they tell her the same thing, return them to the store. I'm beyond dealing with this vendor at this point, I have resigned to returning the whole suit via mail for a total refund. I also went down the street to Men's Warehouse and left an hour later with a receipt, professional tailor taking measurements and a slip stating the suit would be ready and completely tailored in a few days. 180 degree different experience. Back to Jos A Bank, my wife decides to give it a go and receives the same backhanded, excuse laden, rude and arrogant responses from the same employee I dealt with. They did take the suit back and give me a refund, by the way. To the chagrin of this fool. My wife asked to see the manager due to this individual's blatantly hostile and arrogant demeanor. Her jaw dropped when he said he was the manager. I assume this to be a lie, no one in their right minds would place this guy in charge of anything beyond a shoe shine box... Terrible experience, hands down and across the board. Absolutely will not return to a Jos A Bank, and will gladly tell anyone who will listen to avoid this vendor as well. read more

Don't go here if you like costumer service. Everyone acts like they are your best friend but they barely do their job. I left my suit there to get tailored for a week. When I picked it up, it hadn't been touched. No one looked at it and by the time I returned to the store to point this out they said they couldn't do anything because their tailor was gone. They sent me across town in traffic without explanation for why this happened (or should I say hadn't happened). All done by the assistant manager nonetheless. I brought an existing suit I bought a year ago from a different Jos A Banks store to this one to be re-fitted. They were incredibly nice, made the alterations incredibly fast, within a day, and I couldn't have asked for more. It was stupendous read more

Don't bother with this store! Went here on Thursday to get shirts, told the staff I needed them by Saturday. They did not have what I needed in the store so ordered online for me, with expedited shipping (extra $30) to get them to me on time. They didn't show up today so I called to check and 1. the shirts won't get here until late Monday, when I'll be on a plane, and 2. they ordered the wrong shirts! Talked to the store manager today who told me he couldn't do anything because "he wasn't there" on Thursday. After pressure, he offered a refund on my order if I bring the shirts in when I get them. I told him that was the least he could do. Save yourself the time and trouble and go somewhere else... read more

I shopped here with my 3.5 year old daughter and customer service was spot on. Rachel helped me quickly find the style of shirt I was looking for and then offered helpful advice on making a selection. Also, both Rachel and Dustin treated my daughter with kindness and respect.
