Al I can say, is Ladies, as long as you are happy with your Services, everything is fine. However, if something is not right, and you want it fixed, be prepared to REPAY for the entire Service, or all this fighting will take place for you as well. Every few weeks I go to Brooklyn on the weekend, have breakfast and get a very expensive haircut. I said to myself, self. There has to be a better way. If you follow my reviews, I hate Long Island Chinese food, Italian food, no coffee houses and more importantly no good mens barber shops. Then, I remembered the place where I got haircuts as a teenager. When we moved from Brooklyn to our newly built house in Holbrook, every one and every business seemed new. There was a proud Italian gentleman who opened a Barbershop around the corner. He too owned his home around the corner. He started a business, raised his family, just living the American dream. He retired years ago but his son Vinny graduated Sachem with me. I saw him at our HS reunion and said, Vinny! How's it going? Back slaps happen and he said he's still in Holbrook running the family business. (Wheels turning) I hit him up on FB and say Vin can you cut Hipster? Absolutely! He worked on a place in the Lower East Side back in the day as well as being trained by his dad who brought his skills from Italy. When I was a teenager, my mom would throw me some cash and say get you and your brother haircuts! Where do you think we walked to? Walking in today it seems like a totally different operation. I was kidding with Vinny today, I miss the afro hot lamps from the 70s that used to be in this corner. Saturday morning 11:30am its a packed out business. I highly recommend reservations. I show Vinny my Yelp picture and explained how the hipsters cut my hair. He breaks out the clippers and he's now a man on a mission. After my cut that would rival any expensive cut I usually get in Brooklyn/NYC, he takes me to the hairwash station and adds a tingly tea tree shampoo. Then, he rinsed it with a cold finish. Totally impressed with the end result! Listen, if this placed sucked I wouldn't write a Yelp review. I would have said thank you and been on my way. I am telling you, if you know how you want your haircut, Vinny and staff can make it happen.
