My husband and I attended a party 'catered' by Jose's Food Truck. We are very good friends with the party host and were really looking forward to the event. The lady who was working in the truck directed me to choose from the menu on the side of the truck. I chose fish tacos and she said, "No, not those." I asked what my choices were and chose carnitas tacos. (I knew from our host they were the small street tacos.) My plate was ready in a few minutes. The flavor was good although it didn't hold up well against its competition. My street tacos hardly had any carnitas in them. My husband chose the burrito which was quite large but comprised 98% of rice and beans with almost no meat. Price on menu was $11. We enjoyed the party for little while then went to our favorite Mexican restaurant, La Reyna Monarca, for a truly delicious dinner. Bottom Line: If you want a good party, choose a different caterer. read more

For all the fellow implants that can't find good mexican food, this is where it's at. The taco trucks. Food here is authentic and delicious. The Chile Relleno and Carne Asada Fries are great. Would eat again. The only downside is the portion size is really small for the price. Beans and rice are cheap, 2 table spoons is lacking. But still, this is the best taco fix so far. read more

Fresh delicious handmade Mexican food in a funky little trailer, At first I thought the prices on the tacos were a bit high, but the tacos are quite large on hand made corn tortillas. I had Barbacoa and it melted in my mouth. The rice and beans were good too. My wife had fish tacos and thoroughly enjoyed them. Tried Jose's about a year ago, and wasn't real impressed with the carne asada burrito. After reading all the good reviews we decided to give the place another try. This time around I tried their breakfast burrito with bacon, and my wife got a chicken burrito. Both looked good, were a good size, and we were anxious to dig in. Unfortunately the chicken burrito didn't have much flavor, and 1/2 went in the trash. Not real sure what goes in their breakfast burrito, but this one had the taste of mashed potatoes with pieces of bacon, and maybe some cheese. Not impressed! However on a plus my 2 Golden's liked the part I couldn't eat. I'm going to stick with the truck across the street. Better salsa, and the food is consistently good.. read more

Best fresh Mexican food in the entire Rogue Valley, OR. I go to Jose's at least 2-3 times a week for lunch as I work in Medford. Everything is made to order, so even though its a taco truck it takes a little time to get your meal (especially during lunch hour)....but trust me its well worth the wait. They're special 5 tacos for $5 is my go-to lunch, Mexico City style tacos with your choice of whichever meats you prefer (asada, pollo, carnitas, lengua, etc.) Extremely affordable, filling, and delicious. Excellent. There's only one picnic bench for seating so you may have to sit in your car or get it to go. Tortillas are as good as everyone says. Clearly fresh - made. Family owned, Jose's has the best food and handmade tortillas hands down and not just because it's my mother's recipes. The tounge tacos literally melt in your mouth. I love tacos and Horchata and went here for both. Sadly, I was disappointed by both. The horchata was very grainy, gritty and chalky. It had a weird flavor to it that I don't know how to describe. I tried drinking it but cringed with each sip. I ended up throwing it away. I ordered tacos al pastor. They cover their tacos with green salsa, cilantro and onions. I asked for no onions or cilantro. I should have asked for no salsa. I love green salsa and I like spicy food. But this salsa was so spicy my mouth was on fire, I couldn't taste anything and I was only able to eat 1 (out of 5) tacos. Maybe it was a fluke and I got something extra hot, but I literally ate almost nothing that I came home with. I couldn't even tell if the taco meat was good or not. I couldn't taste it. It was moist, that's about all I can tell you. I won't go back here again, there are lots of places to get tacos in the Rogue Valley. And I don't trust a mexican restaurant with crappy horchata. read more

The two women inside were really nice & well-versed in what they had available- I even learned what my lunch was called lol! Mulitas are quesadillas made with corn tortillas rather than flour- which they freshly pressed, making it extra tasty! Filled with al pastor (tasty shredded pork), beans, & freshly made tomatillo salsa, topped with onion, cheese, salad, & avocados- plus a Jarritos grapefruit soda- ran $8.50, plus tip! Fabulous! Authentic Mexican fare. I was craving Mexican as we were driving from Arizona to Washington, and found this food truck on Yelp. We had to wait about 30min for our food at about 2:15pm on a Monday afternoon because they were so busy but that speaks to how good they are!
