I like to stop in weekly to a nearby DSW to donate an old pair of shoes to apply toward my DSW reward points. They add up quickly for dollars off of my purchases. Check out their Soles4Soul program. So I waited until a few days before Christmas and I called back and they said that they would cancel it and send me a gift card because it might be faster. I received the check a week later. The last time I was at this store I had an existing pair of boots worked on, and it was the shoddiest work I've ever seen .
