They argued with my carer about getting Mongolian Beef without rice. Wanted sautéed veggies instead of rice or salad (have to watch carbs and can not eat uncooked vegetables at all) Price is listed at $8.45 on Google and $10.95 on the menu platform. Was charged $12.95 Instead of sautéed/stir fried vegetables, I was given at $11.95 Vegetable Delight. The Mongolian Beef is mostly onions, I had to search for the beef, and it looks like canned LA Choy chop suey and tastes like it has the same sauce as the vegetable delight. Will not eat here again. A rather hit or miss place. Their tempura vegetables, udon, and sushi rolls might be worth a try, but others, like their shrimp tempura, are rather unimpressive. I ordered a side order of 6 shrimp tempuras and only received 5 in my takeout order, and they're rather small and lack the substance of typical shrimp tempura - definitely not worth $6.49. I once had their Mongolian chicken, and it was okay, as are their teriyakis. I will say that they have some pretty decently priced teriyaki compared to other Bremerton locations, so it has that going for it. read more

I got the vegetable sushi roll, orange chicken, and the vegetable lo mein for takeout. The service was very friendly and quick. But the orange chicken was a little too soft for me and maybe that's due to it sitting in a takeout box. The vegetable lo mein was good but just tasted a little off. However the Vegetable roll was the best part! It was the perfect blend of veggies and just what I'm looking for when ordering a veggie roll. I'd walked by this place dozens of times before I finally walked in to try it. And now, I've been back several times. We've never had the teriyaki, but we'd tried the katsu, the orange chicken, the fried rice, and the egg rolls - all were surprisingly good. My daughter also tried the salmon and chips and really enjoyed the - the salmon was grilled rather than fried and delicious. The orange chicken has a tangy sauce, the katsu is the real deal (pork cutlet, not chicken), crispy with breading and tasty, and the egg rolls are near-perfection. Portion sizes are large, and the prices are reasonable. Simply put, the food is good and affordable. There's a reason I took so long to go in - it's tucked in at the entrance to Fred Meyer, easy to miss, and not particularly enticing. Once inside, it looks like the sort of place that could be sketchy, or it could be just fine - a menu of pictures and printed prices, with handwritten corrections. That being said, I'm glad I finally did try it. For the katsu and the egg rolls alone, I'll be back again. read more

We picked up six orders of teriyaki tonight and my girlfriend found a 18" long hair in her salad and a 3" long hair in her chicken and beef teriyaki. I lost my appetite before I ate mine. I called and reported the issue and was told that I could get new food (I live 20 minutes away) or a refund on one order. I told them that I would bring all of the food in tomorrow to show that we didn't eat it and they refused. I will never go back and stick with Chungs and Sunny Teriyaki where I have never had an issue. I understand that there are people who will lie about hair in their food but I was willing to bring all six orders back as proof that I didn't eat it. I just cannot give this place more than 2 stars and the only reason I do that is because I may have had a decent meal there once before. The reason I say this is because I know I've had their teriyaki before but I don't really remember when since it was a few yeas ago and I don't recall saying to myself I would never go there again, so I went there again -- last week. And now I'm saying to myself that I won't go there again. I couldn't even eat the meal. My sister sent me in to get some food to go, and it was just awful. I ordered the shrimp fried rice. The picture in the restaurant menu looks like the best meal ever, with humungous de-veined shrimp, fresh veggies and fluffy rice. NO lie. The actual meal I received was a clump of sticky rice with a ton of those little shrimp full of veins. There was not even any egg fried with the meal. The only time in my entire life that I have ever even heard of having fried rice without egg is when I was a vegan, but that was a long time ago. I honestly could not even eat what they prepared. I would have returned to the place, gave them their food and asked for my money back but since I got it to go and was already home before I opened the package I really did not want to go back out again. + 3 Stars because: A. There are dishes on the menu that are at a pretty decent price, especially come lunch time (i.e. Chicken Teriyaki) B. The dishes there are at least on par with what you would expect to find at any decent Teriyaki place and they definitely don't over/under cook the rice C. In comparison with a lot of other places in town this a grade above most others D. Friendly and prompt service -2 Stars because: A. When you compare what you're getting dish to dish just to find more bang for your buck (which isn't saying much) then the restaurant obviously needs to readjust it's menu and it's prices. The beef strips is more than two dollars more than the Chicken Teriyaki B. They horribly overcooked the Chicken Katsu, it was like eating cardboard in both taste and texture C. We come here pretty frequently, and they've always been decent. The service is always friendly in the many years I've come here. I like their shrimp fried rice, and they have the better price for fried rice in town. I also like their udon, gyoza, and shrimp tempura crunch rolls. One thing I do that's seems so contradictory, is order french fries from here, which is cheap, $1.50, and take it over to Subway and have a sandwich with fries. Quality of meats was on par with what I was expecting; no gristle or fatty pieces. Cons: The $2.00 mark-up on the vegetable rice seemed to be an inclusion of brunoised carrot and peas along with their standard fried rice, THAT was all and it was an extremely disappointing dish. The Spicy chicken Markup was just a little addition of spice, with no option of a targeted spice level i.e., 1-5. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I came in and ordered chicken teriyaki. There were no other patrons in the restaurant besides a homeless woman who yelled at me several times to bring her water. I ignored her and went to the other side of the restaurant. The woman continued to yell and the staff did nothing. The food came quickly and as the waitress sat the food in front of me, she was literally swatting flies from the plate. As I took my first bite, I noticed the chicken was horribly undercooked. Still pink all the way through. I didn't feel like asking for a new dish since I was ready to leave anyway by that point. I ate the white rice and tried a bite of the coleslaw which was soggy and gross. I took maybe 5 bites from my plate and couldn't wait to get out of there. I will definitely not return. Food isn't bad at all, it's real good for a fix. However, I ordered beef and broccoli and never have I once ordered that anywhere else to have sesame seeds on it. Usually they give me that on the side. I'm allergic to sesame and I've never ordered here before. I get it, sesame seeds are good but for dietary restrictions I'd recommend if possible to put the sesame on the side as an option. In the meantime, I'd also ask about what they put into and onto their food with detail if you have allergies. I have to pick every individual seed out just to enjoy this. read more
