I have had the teriyaki plate here before, friendly staff, fast, somewhat busy depending on when you come here. Good food, standard prices small portions left me still hungry

Went there october 22nd 2015 and ill just say that my whole family woke up at 2am throwing up. Everyone is taking off school and work because they are sick. All we ordered was the beef and fried rice and teriyaki. Will never go back EVER read more

I came in last weekend, ordered 2 teriyaki chicken and an order of egg rolls to go. Between the three of us, my husband, my mother-in-law, and myself we only ate one of the chicken teriyaki so we were able to have leftovers! I go to this place for the fact it's convenient and my fav place to go get teriyaki chicken or beef. Its great for one of my comfort food variety. It's simple and quick to go. Some places try to hard to make there teriyaki to off the wall, not something I remember growing up, cmon people it's good old fashioned rice, protein and a good teriyaki sauce. Don't take it from me though you have to try it out for yourself and remember I said comfort food, comfort is nostalgic in the sense of being comfort. Don't go expecting a gourmet 5 star dining its definitely not like that its a hole in the wall joint. These are always the best places to be satisfied for good eats. I go here daily! Best salmon teriyaki I've had. Their miso soup is perfect during winter days. I don't know what dressing they use on their salad but I wish I could buy it by the bottle. Not to mention the workers are always friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make you happy. They are my go to for a quick and filling lunch everyday. read more

My visit was on January 22nd at 11: 45 a.m., me and my friend ordered our food and we sat down the food came out food was delicious like always, got halfway through my meal and I realized they forgot my California roll, I got up and told the girl you guys forgot my California roll not a big deal things happen, she went in the back and told the guy making them, she told me it would be out and I sat down at the table I continue eating my food with my friend, the next thing I hear is the guy saying out loud you guys forgot a California roll and said all three of the employees names out loud and made an excuse for himself on why he missed it, and aggressively told the girl out loud again you're the last line of defense you need to notice these things, we came there to sit down and have lunch not listen to some guy being rude to employees, sorry to break it to you bro but this review was YOUR FAULT!!! read more

Friendly but slow service made ordering a bit of a mixed bag. I had previously eaten at this place and was less than impressed with their food. It was not great, but it was not bad. Then I tried their sushi. I ordered the California roll and Nigiri Combo and it was a fiasco. The roll was messy and uneven, the quality of the fish was poor. The cuts of salmon used were thin, and the cuts of tuna used were so thin they were falling apart on the rice. Both the tuna and the salmon were bland to the point of being almost flavorless. The rice used to make this was not sushi rice, but mushy steamed white rice. Disappointing. A comparable combo from my local grocery store costs less, tastes better, and is better prepared and presented. read more

I should have known better than to do strip mall sushi, but I was craving spicy tuna like no other, and had just finished shopping at Fred Meyer, and lo and behold, I see "SUSHI". Sold. Well, the girl beind the counter was an absolute sweetheart, and the prices were reasonable, but limited to someting like 6 very basic rolls (california, spicy tuna, etc) so I ordered one philly roll and one spicy tuna to go. When I got them home, I excitedly opened the box to find....rice. literally the roll was 90% rice (which was far too sticky) and 10% filling. There was a SLIVER of avocado in each. I was very dissapointed. Needless to say, I scooped out the middles and ate it (it maybe accumulated to a tablespoon worth of spicy tuna total) and chalked it up to a loss. I may go back and try their terriaki, but the sushi.....never again. The only reason this even got two stars was the adorable counter girl. The end! read more

I find their food very bland. There are many places in the area that do much better. The reason for the 2 stars instead of three is because they nickle and dime you to death. Want extra soy sauce, that'll be 50cents, extra hot sauce, another 50cents all extra condiments are an extra 50cents each. Want to charge your lunch with a credit card? If the check isn't over $5 that will be -you guessed it- an extra 50cents. I hate that. I have been to this place many times. The prices are much lower than any other teriyaki place in Bremerton and Silverdale. Orders come out pretty fast, but I would not say this place is fast food. One thing I would like to mention is that there are many bad reviews about this place on this site. There are very many people that come to this restaurant and say that the food was great as they are heading out the door. I see that not many people have written reviews lately and the ones that have been written are rated very low. I have decided to write a review for this place because it is not getting the recommendation that it deserves. At this place I have had sweet and sour chicken, chicken teriyaki, hot and spicy chicken, and chicken yakisoba. Plus a few side orders. My favorite dish besides the chicken teriyaki is sweet and sour chicken at $7.95 (before tax). I love how this dish tastes! I often dine in but sometimes I do take my orders to go. Whenever I eat my dish at the restaurant I get a nice and crispy sweet and sour chicken. I have heard complaints from other people that the sweet and sour chicken and orange chicken they get is not nice and crunchy when they get it. I noticed that it was because these people had gotten the food to go. When I get home my sweet and sour chicken is not crunchy anymore, but it makes sense. It is been sitting in a to go box for quite a bit so I expect that the steam had made the breading soft and not as nice and crunchy as it would have been if I were to dine in. It has a great taste and definitely fills me up. I have asked if there was an option to make the chicken even crispier and they said that they are able to do so. The chicken teriyaki is the cheapest that I know of in Bremerton and Silverdale at $7.35 (before tax). They even have a lunch special which is a dollar less and a smaller portion for those that do not want to eat too much. Their teriyaki is the BEST in town! I do not know how to describe it, but it just tastes so good! Hot and Spicy chickens flavor is so good! It was $7.95 (before tax). Expect it to be a little soupy. The chicken in it is chopped up in little bite size pieces and the vegetables are wonderful! I have only had this dish a number of times and I love it! Chicken Yakisoba is like any other chicken yakisoba i have had. Delicious! The plus side to this dish at this restaurant is that it is cheaper than anyone else's at $7.95 (before tax). The other prices I have seen are around $11. The complaint I see about the salad is that it is a bad cabbage salad. This salad is a traditional asian salad that I have seen at many asian restaurants before so it did not come as a surprise. There is an option to not get the salad and extra rice if you do not fancy their salad. I love how cheap extra sauce costs! At other places they price their extra sauce at $1 or more when at this place you can get it for only .38 cents! Sadly, they do not have any bubble tea, but I heard they are working on it. An extra things that many other restaurants do not have are dippin' dots for $2.99 (before tax) which I think is a great price considering the only other times you can get it are at the fair and they sell it for $4 or more. They have a TV playing which keeps many people busy watching it while watching. Great for those times your phone dies. Haha Overall, This place has great low prices and the taste is great! They have the best tempura shrimp crunch (roll)!!!! It's big and fills you up. I also love their salad dressing.
