Ugh. I haven't been here in 4 years as I live out of town. The portion sizes are abysmal for the crazy cost. I remember when the fish and chips were a great portion. What my fiancé got was literally the size of a table knife. He left still hungry which is a first. I got the cioppino and almost laughed at the lack of sauce. Then had to pay for bread to dip in! What in the actual h*ll?! $44 dollars. Incredibly disappointed with this place. Then the hostess kept going in and out to the deck where noone was and each time we would get blasted with cold air. After the 3rd time I finally ripped into her. So inconsiderate. How about you train your staff to be considerate of diners who just spent over $200

While in Bremerton I stopped by the Boat Shed for lunch. I was seated right by the window, with a beautiful view. I ordered the fish and chips and they did not disappoint. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside, flaky and tender on the inside, and not greasy at all. The fries were delicious too. Service was friendly and laid-back. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

You can't beat the location. The restaurant is right on the water. It's beautiful and relaxing. Just one set of jet skis went by. It was a beautiful Sunday so the outdoor tables were full. The service was a bit slow at first. The food was good. Had some items off the menu and others off the daily specials. Totally loved the clam chowder and the halibut tacos. The halibut tacos were a special as their typical tacos are cod. The watermelon Dungeness salad, another special, and the calamari were ok. The salad had a healthy amount of crab meat but would have liked a bit more greens.

The view was good, the hostess staff amazing. Food was good but not superb just average. Service from our waitress was lacking, it felt like pulling teeth to get help but maybe it was just an off day. I left feeling so so, not a place I would think to recommend when friends say they are in town but a place to stop in if you are walking by.

A nice little restaurant on the water in Bremerton with casual dining. The good: Decent food variety. View Service Seafood selection Great chowder Full bar The bad: They charge for bread. Very limited parking on one lane road. There's always flies around the tables - even in November .

Food was a little bland and expensive for what it was. The service was quick, considering how big the party was. The restaurant is next to the water so the view is incredible and perfect for a sunset dinner. Pictured is a mango halibut served with rice and green beans (special for the day).

The reason there is even a star in this review is due to the beautiful water view out on the deck. The servers were also nice. The good times stop there. The audacity to charge these prices for the small portions and lackluster food. And then on top of all of that, there's a sticker on my tomato?! Would not come back.

The wasabi salmon is AMAZING! Sounds interesting, but a must try! Nice notes of teriyaki with a very mild wasabi aioli-like drizzle that is the most savory combination! Our server was the best, great customer service all around! We sat outside, and enjoyed a beautiful PNW spring evening, celebrated a birthday, and the strawberry cheesecake was also delicious.

We ended up at Boat Shed on a day trip to Bremerton from Gig. We wanted to see USS Ronald Reagan which recently arrived from Japan for dry dock repairs. That was a bust. But we did find Boat Shed and enjoyed a great lunch on their amazing patio. I decided to have the chowder despite the mixed reviews. Yes, it is different, but it is full of flavor, plenty of clams, and very tasty. I paired that with a fish sandwich. Partner had an excellent cheeseburger. Our bill with tea and coffee was $55. Excellent service. And yes, the view is amazing.

I came here as my best friend recommended it and it did not disappoint. This restaurant has a waterfront view and the food is delicious. I tried the award winning clam chowder, crab and shrimp stuffed mushroom and halibut fish and chips. Everything was tasty but my favorite was the stuffed mushroom. There are so many delicious flavors in one bite. The fish was very tender and juicy. To drink I had a margarita, which was okay. The service was great. I got seated right away with the best view and the staff gave me suggestions on what to order. I would definitely return to grab a bite to eat.

Another wonderful lunch on a beautiful, sunny day! We met with friends that are visiting from Colorado, we were seated immediately at a table overlooking the water on the deck. Service was prompt and attentive and the food was great! Two of us had the Shrimp Louis, one had the fish and chips and the other had the almond crusted salmon salad.

The staff at this restaurant or inexperienced and have a little trouble focusing on the tasks at hand, but overall they get the job done. I took friends out for thank you dinner and my friend had appetizers for dinner. She didn't care for the fried eggplant. The calamari seemed OK. I tried it. My steak and salmon surf and turf. Dinner was acceptable but nothing special. The place is clean it does have a view and they are attentive. The restrooms are clean. Parking is a little challenging, but not over the top. I'm not sure why we call this fine dining, but I would call it a nicer casual restaurant.

Great choice of a restaurant if in Bremerton, WA. Portion was plentiful in my entree of clam linguine as well as very tasty! Cup of clam chowder and crab & shrimp stuffed mushrooms were great appetizer choices. It was quite busy both on the patio and the inside dining room. Hostess was very sweet & quick to wrangle a server that appeared a good 10-15 after being sat. Despite not having silverware when the food came and lack luster service, I would still very much recommend this spot and try again with high hopes of better service next time. The view, as well as the unexpected sweet suprise of a seal napping on the dock, was a great end of still a great dinner:)

We were running a little late so I dropped my wife off and went to find parking. When I arrived to the hostess she was already seated. We had a great server, Tamika. She was friendly, upbeat, informative and appropriately attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her. We ordered brunch: Eggs Benedict and the San Juan Scramble. My wife said the Eggs Benedict were the best she ever had. It was simple, but each element was prepared to perfection and the combination was delicious. I would agree but that is based on the one bite I was allowed! My scramble was great. Perfectly cooked eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Our plates were both clean. We didn't get pictures, but our plates looked just like the pictures on their brunch menu online. What a great start to our day! Parking is usually not a problem, but today parking in the garage one level below the restaurant was a little tight.

Kudos to our server, Kat, as she was so smiley and friendly! We ordered the house rolls that came with honey butter and salmon dip that came with house made crackers. These were both amazing!!! We found the restaurant no problem and street parking was easy. The restaurant was clean and great decor inside and a friendly worker quickly guided us to a table and started working on our Thai Ice teas. Delicious as we'd hoped! The food arrived shortly after. Everything we tried was very fresh and high quality ingredients, The spice level was perfect and the over all quality of the meal was top notch. As mentioned, we were on a road trip and don't live close by, but we've managed to find an excuse to come back two more times. My recommendation would be the beef massamun curry! The first time I ever had Thai food was at a small place that fed the Thai Airline crew and the server explained to me different dishes and highly recommended this dish. It's been my go-to ever since and Khao Soi does an incredible job preparing it!

The service was underwhelming from the start. There seemed to be two waitresses working, but neither of them seemed overly enthusiastic to be there. Neither ever engaged in any polite conversation, just seated us, took our order, delivered it to our table, brought the bill - simply going through the motions. The food was also a bit underwhelming (especially after reading all of the five-star reviews). We ordered the pad see ew with chicken and the pineapple fried rice. The meat in both was terrible - completely overcooked. While the flavor of the pad see ew was at least good, the flavor of the rice was one note (and that note was curry flavored). For $20+ per entree, we expected more. Perhaps this was just an off night (as other reviewers seem to have had better experiences), but it was not a great look for our first visit. Pro-Tip: Come after 6:00pm, so you can park across the street (without breaking parking rules).

And to me, the price is too high for the food to just be "fine." The mocktails are always delicious, and one time they made me a Pimm's cup. I've also sipped a few of my family's cocktails and they're quite good. The best thing I had was a vegan sloppy Joe with chickpeas a few years ago. The vegan Caesar salad is good. They seem to have a housemade veggie burger on the menu year round, but it's on a brioche bun so if you want to get it vegan it just comes without a bun... I had it once with the bun and even then I found it pretty dry and underwhelming, especially for the price. ($18 with a pickle and a handful of their thick fries [the fries are tasty and vegan]). We went yesterday and I got a squash appetizer without the crème fresh, and half the squash was undercooked (like so hard I couldn't put a fork through it). I told the server and they comped the dish, but even the part that was edible wasn't that great, so I didn't really want a replacement. My sister likes the steak, she's had it twice and the steak is cooked well, the sauce is good, but the carrots have been undercooked both times. She agrees that the drinks are better than the food. She also says the desserts are good. My mom thought the crab cakes were delicious, her Brussels sprouts were not undercooked.
