    Halibut tacos
    Gustavo G.

You can't beat the location. The restaurant is right on the water. It's beautiful and relaxing. Just one set of jet skis went by. It was a beautiful Sunday so the outdoor tables were full. The service was a bit slow at first. The food was good. Had some items off the menu and others off the daily specials. Totally loved the clam chowder and the halibut tacos. The halibut tacos were a special as their typical tacos are cod. The watermelon Dungeness salad, another special, and the calamari were ok. The salad had a healthy amount of crab meat but would have liked a bit more greens.

The reason there is even a star in this review is due to the beautiful water view out on the deck. The servers were also nice. The good times stop there. The audacity to charge these prices for the small portions and lackluster food. And then on top of all of that, there's a sticker on my tomato?! Would not come back.

While in Bremerton I stopped by the Boat Shed for lunch. I was seated right by the window, with a beautiful view. I ordered the fish and chips and they did not disappoint. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside, flaky and tender on the inside, and not greasy at all. The fries were delicious too. Service was friendly and laid-back. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

The view was good, the hostess staff amazing. Food was good but not superb just average. Service from our waitress was lacking, it felt like pulling teeth to get help but maybe it was just an off day. I left feeling so so, not a place I would think to recommend when friends say they are in town but a place to stop in if you are walking by.

The wasabi salmon is AMAZING! Sounds interesting, but a must try! Nice notes of teriyaki with a very mild wasabi aioli-like drizzle that is the most savory combination! Our server was the best, great customer service all around! We sat outside, and enjoyed a beautiful PNW spring evening, celebrated a birthday, and the strawberry cheesecake was also delicious.

A nice little restaurant on the water in Bremerton with casual dining. The good: Decent food variety. View Service Seafood selection Great chowder Full bar The bad: They charge for bread. Very limited parking on one lane road. There's always flies around the tables - even in November .

Food was a little bland and expensive for what it was. The service was quick, considering how big the party was. The restaurant is next to the water so the view is incredible and perfect for a sunset dinner. Pictured is a mango halibut served with rice and green beans (special for the day).

We ended up at Boat Shed on a day trip to Bremerton from Gig. We wanted to see USS Ronald Reagan which recently arrived from Japan for dry dock repairs. That was a bust. But we did find Boat Shed and enjoyed a great lunch on their amazing patio. I decided to have the chowder despite the mixed reviews. Yes, it is different, but it is full of flavor, plenty of clams, and very tasty. I paired that with a fish sandwich. Partner had an excellent cheeseburger. Our bill with tea and coffee was $55. Excellent service. And yes, the view is amazing.

I came here as my best friend recommended it and it did not disappoint. This restaurant has a waterfront view and the food is delicious. I tried the award winning clam chowder, crab and shrimp stuffed mushroom and halibut fish and chips. Everything was tasty but my favorite was the stuffed mushroom. There are so many delicious flavors in one bite. The fish was very tender and juicy. To drink I had a margarita, which was okay. The service was great. I got seated right away with the best view and the staff gave me suggestions on what to order. I would definitely return to grab a bite to eat.

Another wonderful lunch on a beautiful, sunny day! We met with friends that are visiting from Colorado, we were seated immediately at a table overlooking the water on the deck. Service was prompt and attentive and the food was great! Two of us had the Shrimp Louis, one had the fish and chips and the other had the almond crusted salmon salad.

The staff at this restaurant or inexperienced and have a little trouble focusing on the tasks at hand, but overall they get the job done. I took friends out for thank you dinner and my friend had appetizers for dinner. She didn't care for the fried eggplant. The calamari seemed OK. I tried it. My steak and salmon surf and turf. Dinner was acceptable but nothing special. The place is clean it does have a view and they are attentive. The restrooms are clean. Parking is a little challenging, but not over the top. I'm not sure why we call this fine dining, but I would call it a nicer casual restaurant.

Crab and shrimp stuffed mushrooms baked with butter and asiago cheese

Great choice of a restaurant if in Bremerton, WA. Portion was plentiful in my entree of clam linguine as well as very tasty! Cup of clam chowder and crab & shrimp stuffed mushrooms were great appetizer choices. It was quite busy both on the patio and the inside dining room. Hostess was very sweet & quick to wrangle a server that appeared a good 10-15 after being sat. Despite not having silverware when the food came and lack luster service, I would still very much recommend this spot and try again with high hopes of better service next time. The view, as well as the unexpected sweet suprise of a seal napping on the dock, was a great end of still a great dinner:)

We stopped here for lunch after touring the nearby USS Turner Joy Navy ship. We were looking for a seafood restaurant with a view. Found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Multiple people helped us during our meal. The restaurant was clean. My only gripe with the hostess, was seating us right next to an occupied table when the rest of the dining room around us was completely empty. I don't understand why people do this. Some privacy is always nice. We don't need to hear strangers conversations and they don't need to hear ours. It's just too close for comfort. Anyway, we ordered the side Ceasar salad, cup of clam chowder and the steamed manila clams. The food came out fairly quickly. The clam chowder was really good. Plenty of clams and flavor. The steamed clams were great as well. The rustic bread served with them was nice and fresh. The disappointing part of the meal was the brown lettuce in the salad. I should have sent it back. The house made dressing was really good and they put a nice amount of shredded parmesan on top. Overall a nice experience. The majority of food was great, service super friendly, and gorgeous views! Would recommend.

We were running a little late so I dropped my wife off and went to find parking. When I arrived to the hostess she was already seated. We had a great server, Tamika. She was friendly, upbeat, informative and appropriately attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her. We ordered brunch: Eggs Benedict and the San Juan Scramble. My wife said the Eggs Benedict were the best she ever had. It was simple, but each element was prepared to perfection and the combination was delicious. I would agree but that is based on the one bite I was allowed! My scramble was great. Perfectly cooked eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Our plates were both clean. We didn't get pictures, but our plates looked just like the pictures on their brunch menu online. What a great start to our day! Parking is usually not a problem, but today parking in the garage one level below the restaurant was a little tight.

While dining with a friend, I told our server I'd be placing a to-go order halfway through my drink, but he disappeared for over 45 minutes. I eventually had to flag down another server to place my order--an A mushroom burger, a Zeus salad with gyro meat, and a bacon cheeseburger(no cheese) --while also requesting a box and the check for my friend. After waiting another 25 minutes with no updates, we had to ask a third person for the check because my friend's baby was getting restless. Our original server finally returned and casually mentioned he had been on break, never having passed our table off to anyone else. When I asked about my food, he realized the second server never even entered the order into the system. He offered to "rush" the items, but after already waiting nearly 40 minutes for an order that was never started, I wasn't willing to wait another 30 minutes. It was incredibly frustrating to walk away empty-handed after spending 90 minutes dealing with a lack of basic communication and follow-through. It was a beautiful outside and was really nice to sit outside and look at the ocean, not super comfortable seats but the view makes up for it. 2 stars because my vodka lemonade was good, the staff is friendly but just all over the place and such bad communication.

And to me, the price is too high for the food to just be "fine." The mocktails are always delicious, and one time they made me a Pimm's cup. I've also sipped a few of my family's cocktails and they're quite good. The best thing I had was a vegan sloppy Joe with chickpeas a few years ago. The vegan Caesar salad is good. They seem to have a housemade veggie burger on the menu year round, but it's on a brioche bun so if you want to get it vegan it just comes without a bun... I had it once with the bun and even then I found it pretty dry and underwhelming, especially for the price. ($18 with a pickle and a handful of their thick fries [the fries are tasty and vegan]). We went yesterday and I got a squash appetizer without the crème fresh, and half the squash was undercooked (like so hard I couldn't put a fork through it). I told the server and they comped the dish, but even the part that was edible wasn't that great, so I didn't really want a replacement. My sister likes the steak, she's had it twice and the steak is cooked well, the sauce is good, but the carrots have been undercooked both times. She agrees that the drinks are better than the food. She also says the desserts are good. My mom thought the crab cakes were delicious, her Brussels sprouts were not undercooked.
