I went in to Joyful Nails because I generally do my own nails, but I was tired and felt like someone else doing them for a change. I walked in without an appointment and asked for a dip manicure. I was assigned to Kevin and WOW! I was so lucky to have him! I chose turquoise and he did a tremendous job. I was so happy. I am writing this review after wearing them for 3 weeks (sorry, no photo because I forgot before I took them off myself) and they were still absolutely perfect. No chipping or breakage whatsoever. There is no question that Kevin will be the person I request when I go. His work is exceptional. I had him add a tip to one of my nails because it broke and you couldn't tell which one if you tried. When I infrequently treat myself to nails, I care most about longevity and quality, and not so much the "spa" experience-- so my review of Kevin is focused on his skill of mastering both of those things. I brought in my own powder today (Kevin was available on short notice, thank goodness!) and the results speak for themselves. Absolutely beautiful work. Thank you, Kevin! read more

Don't let the older woman touch your feet! She cut my cuticle, made me bleed really bad and it hurt really bad and 10 days later I had an ingrown toenail cut out. Spent $65 going to urgent care to get on antibiotics. I will never trust them or anyone with my feet ever again! read more

Knocked off one star because, although I told her twice and pointed to the "basic" option on their menu, she did the deluxe option at a higher price. Knocked another star because I picked out one color, and she used a different one. Bottom line: I came in wanting one thing and left with another. I am familiar with the salon when it was Lily's salon. Unfortunately, the very basic ingredient of a good salon was not met here. The guy that did my nails took the tools out of a plastic box that he carried along with the rest of his tools and products in a larger carrying box and did my nails. I asked him if the tools were clean, but unfortunately, we couldn't communicate. He worked on my feet which was all fine, put the nail clippers and other tools back in the box, and then moved on to the woman next to me, and used the same tools on her feet. I told her that he was using the same tools and we both were a bit frustrated that we couldn't get the message across. I always like to support enterprising local businesses, but joyful needs to get this act together or the word will get out. Clean tools are basic, basic, basic to a nail salon! read more

Worst salon i been to. It took them two hours to do just my toes and they had to switch people. I also wanted the deluxe package and they only did a few of the steps and still charged full price. I also told the lady i wanted square and she did them all different shapes so the next guy had to fix it. Then when she did the leg mask, she took the towels off and didn't wipe the mask off completely leaving it to dry on my legs. The second guy rushed to finish what she did but still did not complete the rest of the package. Its almost been a week and they look worse than when i walked into the salon. read more

I only have absolutely all positive experiences with this place. I've been going to get my nails done here for the last year and a half. This team of technicians are highly dedicated for your comfort and quality. I always enjoy my time there. Because of how well I've been treated, I always highly HIGHLY recommend using them. They're so flexible with walk-ins and allow you to call ahead and schedule an appointment!!! They've even helped me when I had a couple emergency breaks with little to no notice. My pedi could not have been more cursory or faster unless I paid my ten year old daughter to put nail polish on my toe nails. Once I declined the upsale I was persona non grata. This "classic" pedicure cost exactly $1 per minute. I was not allowed time to soak and the "hot stone massage" was a quick swipe over my legs. No lotion, no massage, nothing but nail cutting and polish application. I will not be back and will let my friends and colleagues know to not waste their time and money. read more

She said she didn't like regular polish so I guess she decided what was best for me. She was rude when I mentioned it and they didn't seem to care that I was never going back. As much as I love the woman who does my nails, Trinity, the management is horrible. They yelled and screamed and me when I asked for more hot water. The owner or manager filled the bowl for my pedicure while I waited for her to finish up with someone else. The water was not very warm so I asked for more hot. He did it. I waited 15 minutes and the water got very cool. So I asked him to warm up the water. He yelled and screamed at me said my girl would do it in 2 minutes...I asked again...he said I already gave you hot water, she will be here in 2 minutes, ok now that is 5 I was sitting in cold water by now. He is still yelling and screaming at me. Told me to leave and take my girl with me. I did not want her fired............I stayed, but will never go back again. He Yelled at me. read more
