Very tasty food. The utensils are in a one time use paper pouch. sanitary is always a plus.

Amazing food and great service! The spring pancakes were fresh, soft, and delicious. Every dish was full of flavor, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Clean and cozy atmosphere with reasonable prices. Highly recommend this restaurant, and I will definitely come back again!

The food was freshly made and had good flavor, this may be biased because it is a nostalgic meal for me. the pancakes tasted fresh made to order and were very chewy and had good texture. if they are busy be ready to order when you get seated (typical Asian restaurant etiquette). They give a very comprehensive utensil pack, even gloves and floss! I enjoyed the food here but it could get a little pricy.

The food is very delicious and the service is very well too. The workers are very kind and attentive. Recommend coming here!

This restaurant really really surprised me! The dishes are all so delicious and various options. Highly recommended for family. It's also very kids friendly, too. My kid likes the scramble eggs and shrimp in a roll.

Wraps The menu offers two filling options for the wraps: Meat and Vegetarian. Separate charges for two thin pieces wraps, soup or rice. While the food was nicely presented on plastic plates, flavor of the Peking Sauce Shredded pork was fine, but the portion was small. After spending $18.62 plus tips I wasn't satisfied.

Good authentic northern Chinese food! Service is friendly and very efficient. Clean and easy parking location

Here food very delicious. My family and I always have enjoyed time. Scrambled eggs with onions and eggplants are my favorite.

Food is so delicious!!!! And the service is fancy!!! It's authentic northeast Chinese food!! Definitely will be back again!!!

The food is amazing. All dishes fit my taste and service is good too. Will definitely come back and recommend to my friends.

A delicious restaurant--I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended! The food was served very quickly; the ambiance was excellent, the hygiene was impeccable, and the service was fantastic.

Ordered Two kinds of spring wraps, prefer thin one. Food is delicious, friendly staff. Overall, it's pretty good.

Went with one of my besties and we picked our seat. He ordered the Nashville hot chicken breakfast sandwich! It honestly looked delish and something I would order. I decided to try to Smoked salmon with a runny egg on top... and we shared a Toffee French toast banana treat which was honestly to die for. I like it more than the smoked salmon. The Lychee sangria pitcher was delish as well and sneaky to share between two because we were pretty litty and chatty after... I like the cute lil vibe inside. Spacious enough and not too crowded for a 12:00pm brunch Sunday noon time with a friend. The only critiques is no one really checked up on us to refill our waters.. and when they did they asked if we were done, but in reality we were still working on the French toast. I would have liked more napkins and utensils to get the fishy smell out to enjoy my toffee French toast so I can be posh and cute :D (and my bestie eventually did ask). I improvised and used my hand hehe. Other than that, I was more than happy with the food and the warm atmosphere. I would come again.

Popping Yolk Café in Hacienda Heights is in the same plaza as Grab a Crab. You can't miss them…read more They are in the corner of the plaza with a bright yellow building. There is plenty of parking in the plaza. This is a fairly casual brunch. They assign you a table, give you menus, but you'll have to order and pay at the front. Not much service after you order and they drop off your food. My boyfriend has their Classic Breakfast ($18.20) and I had their Kimchi Butter Fried Chicken Benedict ($19.20). The food took a while to come out, and they came out pretty spread apart. I noticed with the other tables how one person would be halfway through by the time the other person's food came. My boyfriend's food came out before mines and I told him to eat first but he wanted to wait for me. Both of the meal came with a side salad and potatoes. I was most look forward to the salad but I was disappointed with how overly dressed and sour it was. Very imbalanced. I've been to other Popping Yolk cafes so I know it isn't meant to be this sour. Their plating also makes all the dressing leak onto the rest of the meal. Depending on what you get it can make it soggy and/or change the intended flavor profile. My boyfriend really likes their potatoes here. It's nice and crispy. It can make you full. They overly salted my potatoes so I didn't want much of it either. As for my kimchi butter fried chicken benedict... Mhmm... as a new item I HOPE they are still working through it. They put a kimchi layer directly onto the English muffin making it soggy immediately... Even on the first bite it was already soggy. By the time I was onto the second half, I just removed the muffin because it was inedible. The tasty was good. I liked the flavor combination but the execution was the big issue. The sauce and everything just made the fried chicken soft and soggy too. I want crispiness when I hear fried chicken. Oh yeah! My boyfriend also got a Pepsi ($3.25). On their menu it says the sodas are refillable. The whole time we were there I didn't see staff checking on anyone's refillable drinks. If you're expecting the refill, you might be disappointed. The experience is very casual and lackluster but the pricing is definitely on the high side. I'm not a fan.

There is more outdoor seating on the covered patio than indoor seating. Both seating areas are nice. The lady who seated us was very friendly and pretty attentive and especially considering she wad handling a lot of other tables. Both the house eggs Benedict and house French toast were good. Was expecting crispy bacon on the benny considering the description, but the only difference from classic seemed to be the avocado. The benny egg and muffin were both collected well, especially the eggs they did a great job on those. Wife didn't like the flavor of the hollandaise sauce, but thought it was fine. She liked the French toast much better. You did not need syrup as the butter cream and chocolate sauce were plenty sweet on their own. Half serving is probably ok for one person, full was nice to share. The bathroom was clean, large, and single person--great for a pit stop before you head out! The mason jar waters were cool. Overall, nice local joint for a peaceful weekend or vacation breakfast. Definitely recommend giving them a try. Will be back sometime.

A weekend brunch with friends brought me to Madre's Whittier, where the menu offered plenty of tempting options--and a few unexpected lessons about ordering seafood. I tried the Ensenada Omelet, loaded with shrimp, salmon, crab, and octopus. Now, I'm a seafood lover, but octopus and I aren't exactly close friends. I asked if it could be removed, but since the seafood mix is pre-made, the octopus had already RSVP'd to the party. The omelet was good, topped with a creamy sauce, but not something I'd order again. The crab appeared to be imitation crab, and while everything was prepared well, it just wasn't a standout for me. The real star? The strawberry pancakes. Delicious! Next time, I'd order those with a side of eggs and call it a win. I also sampled the chilaquiles, and now that's a dish I'd come back for. The Tiramisu Latte was another favorite--not overly sweet and packed with that classic tiramisu flavor I love. A special shoutout to our waitress, Annie, who was attentive, friendly, and made our brunch experience even better. My Verdict: Skip the Ensenada Omelet and build your brunch around the stars of the menu instead. The strawberry pancakes are the must-order item, the chilaquiles are a strong savory choice, and the Tiramisu Latte ties everything together. If you order wisely, Madre's delivers a brunch worth coming back for.

I decided to go with the bulgogi sandwich based on our waiter's recommendation and it was amazing! So flavorful and the bread was great too. Their salad dressing was tangy and sweet. The brioche toast with homemade jam and ricotta was also better than I was anticipating. The main star for me was the chicken karaage. Quality-wise, everything is super fresh and high-quality, nothing felt overly salty or oily. I liked that every plate comes with something extra and that it leans on the healthier side, whether it's salad or fruit. I also had one of their specialty lattes and it was so good.
