Jary (who helped us when we first moved in) came out on Tuesday and said we had a leak somewhere since the closed-system unit was totally out of coolant. He came back Weds. to do the leak detection and found the leak, recommended a new coil. We had the new coil installed on Friday; this time it was Ricardo and team that did the work installing the coil. They did a great job and a couple hours later our house was back to normal temperature. Gabriel helped us with all the coordination and estimates and seeing if the part was still under warranty (it wasn't, but I didn't expect it would be honestly.) No one likes spending a bunch of money on repairs but I'm very confident that the recommendations Jary made were sound and correct. He did not attempt to upsell me at all, which is greatly appreciated. (The estimates Gabriel sent did include options for replacing the unit, but that wasn't necessary at this time and there was no pressure to do so.) I will continue to call them if we have issues in future with our HVAC system.

My unit is relatively new and the issue at hand is constant condensation on the outside of the unit which causes the system to stop running. They have tried multiple fixes and even got the manufacturer involved to try to diagnose this once and for all. Climate Pro was at the top of the list with 5 star ratings and also noted for a company that focuses on repair rather than stating you need a whole new unit. I called at 8am July 4th and left my number. Within minutes, I received a text from Kevin that he was running around but could be to my house by noon. He continued to text throughout the morning telling me of his whereabouts. He arrived at 10 am. The solution was a stuck switch in the attic. He showed my husband where the switch was located, and also told my husband to fix the filter grate to avoid having hot air being pulled down from the attic. I can't thank CPM enough. RES installed new HVAC in September 2021. Freezing temps last night and my heat wouldn't kick on…read more Needless to say, it's cold in the house. Literally wearing a sweater and two sweater wraps. New HVAC filter, reset breaker. Thermostat batteries are fine. Still not kicking on. Sent Yelp message to RES because they have always been quick to respond. And they did this time as well and the woman who gave me a call was nice and tried to help. Pretty disappointed that they can't quickly swing by today. From what I've read, it's likely a dirty flame sensor or the ignitor switch (neither of which is a long job - I just don't have the tools). HVAC less than 5 years old, so parts are under warranty with RES; however, I had to call someone else. Bottom line: Someone else is coming today, but I could end up paying for parts. Kind of feels like my current needs weren't lucrative enough for RES to make a concerted effort to swing by.

Ron provides a fair and honest diagnosis of the problem each time and they worked with me to make educated repair decisions.
