Had the catfish and the buttermilk pie which was just like my mom use to make. We will be going back.

We did not know there was a pub crawl for St Patty's day happening on the day of our reservation. We were the first to be seated in the restaurant since it opened at 5:00. Once we sat down we found out there was a limited dinner menu. The waitress took our drink order right away, but it took 20 minutes for the drinks to be delivered. While waiting for the drinks the waitress took our food order, took our food a good 40 minutes to be served after we ordered. The waitress told us our food was delayed because one item was burned in the oven and had to be remade. When we finally got our order one of the entrees was cold and the other was luke warm. We had ordered both entrees medium, but they were also over cooked. I understand they were busy with the pub crawl, but that should not have impacted their service as much as we experienced. What really disappointed me that the restaurant did not make us aware of the limited dinner menu and that they also were hosting a pub crawl when we made reservations. We could have made a decision to cancel the reservation before we traveled to the restaurant I hope the owners of this restaurant will plan better in the future and make their patrons aware of special circumstances affecting the menu. All I know is that I will not be returning.

Neither of us had eaten here before, but both had been wanting to try this place out. First and foremost, don't come out in your Sunday's finest, this place is the true definition of Dive Bar. Come as casual as you want and you'll feel comfortable. Only one other person in the place we were able to grab any seat we wanted. The bartender was quick to our table to get drink orders and give us menus. I went for one of the four Grenades they offered - no not a drink it's one of their signature dishes. Think Nachos but with French fries instead of chips. They had a steak offering as well as ground beef, chicken and pork. I went for the Fresh Prince which came piled with steak, grilled onions and bell peppers and queso (added some pico on the side). Really good dish. Flavor of the steak was that of a classic philly cheese steak. Generous portion for the price. Hard to go wrong here, really the hardest decision is which of the four to order. My fiance had the Porky - which simply put was a loaded burger, but it was oh so much more. Topped with slaw and smoked pork, smothered in bourbon BBQ add some cheddar, lettuce, tomato and fried onion straws and you're in burger heaven. Again, the portion was more then generous and full of flavor. Prices are right on point. Service was good and even though they got busier the longer we stayed, we continued to get checked on through the meal. While you wait for your food, the pool was free (not sure if it's that way all the time - but Saturday afternoon it is). We wouldn't hesitate to come back and try this place out and some of the other menu items. Really great food. Great Staff. Great Prices.

Tables were sticky and it took an hour and a half to get food; food wasn't great. We just weren't impressed and haven't been back since. Tonight we had friends that wanted to go so we thought we'd give it another shot. I got the smash burger and it was ok. Sweet potato fries were overcooked. Our waitress was absolutely amazing. She was kind and was very prompt with everything. Had a little issue with my drink though. I ordered a Moscow Mule (What they call a stubborn mule here). When I got it, it was in a lowball, (I don't care about the copper mug) I noticed it had a different color from any mules I've had. I tried it and it wasn't a typical mule. I kept telling my wife it tasted like apples. I never send stuff back but I did tell the waitress I'd take a beer. She asked if my drink was ok and I said it's not a mule. No biggie, just didn't taste good. No problem. She took the drink and returned with the beer. Later on she came up to the table and said her boss wouldn't let her take the mule off because all drink sales are final. I didn't ask for a free drink, this was prompted by her trying to make it right. Whatever... 9 bucks. Not worth the fuss. Later on one of my friends was reading the dessert drink menu and saw a Caramel Apple Mule advertised. Nancy Drew solved the mystery; I most definitely got served the Apple Mule. Still... 9 bucks gone. Not the end of the world, but this is the first place I've been to that wouldn't remake a drink. Sure it was a mistake, but I'm kinda surprised by the bosses decision. Maybe the third time will be a charm! ;)
