We had the clubhouse and the Veggies sandwich both with the upgrade to clam chowder. It was all very good. The service was great. In addition this place is very busy.

    Haddock Sandwich

This place is on point! My husband had the Mozzarella Ham sandwich ( he was actually humming) and I fell in love - yes, I loved it - with my Haddock Sandwich. A very generous portion of fish on a tasty, crusty bun and homemade tartar sauce. I was asked if I wanted to substitute my fries for poutine.......of course. What a heavenly combination. Our waitress was Kaylee (?) and she was fantastic. To round out a perfect experience: They offer a military appreciation discount.

    Club sandwich

Waitstaff was quick, attentive and friendly. I got a club sandwich. It was HUGE! Prices aren't bad either. If we are ever in the area again we will go back!

    Seafood pasta.

This place from the outside looks different from the inside. It is a very nice big place. A very big bar area. Very well done. Very good food and beer selection. I got the seafood pasta and wife got fish sandwich. Was impressed on the amount of fish. The only odd thing was the potato skin appetizers. Thought the strip steak was odd to put on top of it. But really everything else was great. Enjoy

Great food all fresh. Order the pot pie or steak potato skins for appetizers. Great service as well, friendly staff.

Outstanding baked stuffed haddock (we live is Searsport ME) and an excellent Chicken Pot pie. Great little joint.

Some of the best food I've ever had at a restaurant. I am here on vacation with my kids, and I think we are eating here again tonight!

Great fisherman's stew. A busy place, lots of locals, friendly bartender. Your basic 'where I would go regularly if I lived here' place

Hot sandwiches are decent. Buffalo Rangoon's are the best tasting appetizer on the menu.

Not really worth the money or the time. The food was bland and greasy. Subway would have been more satisfying, and we do not like subway.

People running into their friends and catching up on life and family, just positive vibes through and through. The food was done very home style, and you can taste it. All the elements of my omelette were carefully browned to taste their best. The biscuit was delicious, and the coffee was fresh ground. It was just what I needed after some strenuous mountain adventures.

They serve breakfast and lunch from opening until closing and offer at least two breakfast specials every day. They were different each day we went and sounded so good and different that we ordered at least one each day we went. The first day was the meatloaf skillet with home fries, mushrooms, onions, cheese and gravy topped by eggs any style. Second day was cinnamon role French Toast with bananas, strawberries, cream cheese and whipped cream; and the Irish eggs Benedict skillet with corned beef, home fries and cheese, topped with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. Both skillets came with toast, English muffin, or biscuit. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and the chef came out to make sure we were pleased with our meals. I don't think you can go wrong here.

We had a reservation at 5:45 - they told us they couldn't seat us at 5:15 or 5:30 even though more than 1/2 of the dining room was empty when we got there. Sure sign that they are short on staff - but it must be in the kitchen because there were definitely enough waitstaff around. And although there were waitstaff around we barely saw our very friendly waitress. The owner was around and was very nice and accommodating with the kids and offered to make anything they wanted. I had the prime rib - which was cooked to a perfect medium rare and tender but it had no flavor at all. The sweet carrots were the star of the plate. My husband had the rib eye and said it was just OK but again no flavor. My daughter had the bacon burger but it was a hockey puck and all she ate was the mashed potato side. My son had grilled chicken and their "famous" fries (as the owner said) - the fries were the pre battered kind and nothing fancy and the chicken was just that a slab of grilled chicken breast. The fried green beans were good and the pretzels were perfect although the cheese sauce with them had no flavor. We took desserts to go and I am not sure why they called it bread pudding but it was just a hunk of hard bread. We like to support local but not sure we will make an effort to come back here.

Feta Penne Shrimp was hearty portion and a bit on dry side and warm not served hot. Prime Rib with mushroom brandy sauce looked amazing but slightly off-maybe brandy wasn't cooked off enough. For dessert strawberry shortcake was served with a dry hard biscuit. Saved by the whipped cream and strawberries.
