    Peanut butter parfait
    Kelly R.

I'm surprised at some of the mediocre ratings. My daughter and I visited on a Friday, at lunch, and we truly enjoyed our meals. The food was definitely a 5, the service had a few hiccups, which brought the overall rating down, by 1 star. The restaurant was nicely decorated for the Holiday, and there was a company Christmas party in the main dining room, so seating was limited. We were seated at a high top in the bar area, which was fine. It appeared that the bartender was responsible for everyone in the bar area, but he was pretty efficient. We ordered lunch cocktails, a holiday mule and margarita. The margarita was STRONG, but tasty. We also ordered entrees. I ordered the veggie wrap with fries and my daughter ordered the mahi mahi sandwich and fries. Our food arrived a short time later. I received the veggie pizza, instead of the veggie wrap, in error. The server and bartender apologized and proceeded correct the order, and offered free dessert as an accommodation. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her sandwich. The veggie wrap was excellent, perfectly roasted veggies, nicely seasoned accompanied by thick, hand-cut fries....yum! We decided on the peanut butter parfait for dessert and received the key lime parfait, instead. The bartender immediately switched out the incorrect dessert for the correct one. All-in-all, we really enjoyed our meals and will absolutely return.

    Swordfish Risotto

The ambience is pretty good, a half way upscale joint that has nice dining in the back but more diner bar vibes up front. Menu has some pretty good options, and they have nice specials (sirloin meal and walleye fillet ~$20). Service was more upscale but not the most attentive. Food was good, not a ton of veggies in my portion of their swordfish risotto dish--which left me feeling unsatisfied appetite-wise after my meal. Swordfish had a nice cream sauce but otherwise was simply grilled, perhaps too much. But a good thick white meat with a mild flavor, if that is your preference.

Tried for the first time this week. Remember it from when it was on Mentor Ave, but had yet to try this location. Decided to sit at the bar. Atmosphere is nice, - bright and open. Started with happy hour apps of a house salad and lamb lollipops. Salad was great and perfect size w/a dinner. Lamb lollipops were good, but pricey for the portion. I ordered the chicken Marsala for dinner and husband ordered the surf and turf special which was a 12 oz ribeye with shrimp. The ribeye was good, but the cut was a little disappointing. It had a lot of slices in it - so wasn't a solid piece of steak. Was still delicious and cooked great (med rare). My Marsala was amazing and the sauce was soo good. I was surprised a salad didn't come with our meal. For an upscale restaurant- it just seemed odd to me. Overall was really good. If we lived closer we would probably try again, but didn't knock our socks off :)

Less than 5 ounces of salmon for this price. Get outta here.

Noosa- I've eaten here dozens of time. But I'm done. Your prices are out of control. Good food? Sure. But multiple $30+ entrees? You're not that good, it's embarrassing.

After checking in, received the coupon for 10% shown below. When shown to the server, she was unaware of it. Showed to manager and he did not know of it. He said the coupon would not be honored because the restaurant doesn't do coupons. YELP! must fix this. The manager should have, out of courtesy to a customer, honored the discount. Very unfortunate that a YELP! offering is not being honored.

It looks nice, but when we were sat the smell of sewer overtook us, we couldn't get past it so we just left, couldn't even try the food.

We started with the Italian wedding soup, which was warm, comforting, and delicious. For dinner, our table tried the Bolognese, chicken Madeira, tortellini, and spaghetti. Everything was flavorful and satisfying, and the spaghetti looked like exactly what you hope for at a neighborhood Italian restaurant--a giant plate of pasta covered in red sauce with an enormous meatball in the middle. And when I say the portions are huge, I mean HUGE. There was no chance of ordering dessert because I could only finish about half of my entrée. The good news is that the other half became an entire lunch the next day, so basically this is dinner and meal prep in one. The service was friendly and attentive, and the whole place had such a warm, comfortable atmosphere. Delicious food, generous portions, and genuinely good service. I started with the house salad, featuring fresh mozzarella and a house dressing that perfectly balanced the flavors of the greens and cheese. For our entrees, we had the Chicken Parmesan and upgraded to the cheese tortellini with tomato cream sauce--they were absolute pillows of deliciousness. We also enjoyed the gnocchi with pesto and a side of meatballs, both of which were excellent. The only downside is the need for reservations due to limited parking, but the quality of the food more than makes up for it.

A nice feature is it's 25% during happy hour on wines and select small plates. We moved to a table to upstairs table. It was an odd time, Wednesday at 5-6, but we enjoyed the entire upstairs space to ourselves our entire visit, which seems sad, as it's a great space. The menu featuring handmade pasta, steak, seafood, and Mediterranean-inspired Italian dishes and we selected 1. Pasta Bolognese 2. Potato crusted grouper with truffled creamed corn. We loved the presentation of the food. My friend loved his Pasta Bolognese and enjoyed ot with the red wine. My meal was with mixed review. The Grouper itself was superbly and lightly breaded, and was soft and DELICIOUS..... however, I thought the Aoili sauce drizzle was too spicey. I recommend use it as a side dip vs. put it on in case people don't like it. Fortunately I was able to scrape off most of it, and once I got it off, the fish was delicious. My side was the creamed corn -- they raved about it. It was "nice", flavorful but I liked the fish best. We then ordered dessert. It was Baklava. They said they make it onsite with people from Greece. I have had a lot of Baklava and I've never had it this way. It featured a 2" thick, dense square. I've never seen it this thick - it's usually light and flowery-breaking as you eat it. Can't dislike honey and nuts and pastry, but I'd say my preference is thin and flaky type Baklava. The restaurant is beautiful and the room we were in cozy and inviting. I would like to return to try more things, so my issues with a couple small things did not overpower my like of the place -- the issues were 'details' and preferences. Good job. We sat upstairs both times and had to ask to have the lights dimmed for some ambience. It's also very, very loud. Maybe next time we'll ask to eat outside. Again, the food was really good, but we like the whole package, ambiance included.

The Margarett Red Zin was decent--slightly peppery and fruity without being too sweet. The crab cake had good flavor, although it wasn't as chunky as I prefer, and the bottled-tasting remoulade didn't help. The Caprese salad seemed to have been introduced to balsamic and olive oil of rather questionable quality. The linguine with chopped clams, garlic, olive oil, parsley and Parmesan arrived less than warm, and the flavors never quite got acquainted. The grilled Mahi Mahi, however, was the bright spot. Well prepared, with mango, tomato, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro and cucumber salsa, finished with sweet Thai chili sauce. Good combination of flavors. We had specifically asked that the courses be served separately. We were assured they would be. They weren't. The appetizers and salads arrived together. Apparently, "separately" has become one of those words open to interpretation. Service otherwise was acceptable. But the restaurant was only about half full. That may not be a scientific measure of a restaurant's decline, but when the food and service seem to have deteriorated too, you begin to wonder. It just wasn't the same Lobster Pot I remembered. And unfortunately, I don't mean that in a good way
