We've been here twice now this is the first and last time. The food was spoiled and we when we asked if we could get something else we were told no, that is what we ordered. So if you feel lucky and try this dump. Make sure to specify that you would like your food to be eatible. They did finally give us piece of fish to make up for the spoiled oysters, it was not too bad. The food is frozen, processed junk that there is no telling how old it is. I should heard from the empty lot and empty dining room that this was going to be so-so. But I proceed because I wanted to be proven wrong and I was not. Another sign was when the food was ready and mind you I was the only one here, they could not bring themselves to deliver the food to my table. Plus, the sauces were in a bucket at the counter. The salt and pepper bottles at the table were mostly empty. I could only feel bad but why? I think these type places need to distinguish themselves from others and the way you do that is by customer service. So where do I begin, the staff well the front counter is very knowledgeable when it comes to the menu and very kind it wasn't a full house but then it's only 430. The food the fish tasted very clean but the batter is thick the shrimp was more batter then a jumbo shrimp, the fries were crispy but tasted a lil stale not to bad, the vegetable melody even though it's a frozen melody the ratio of everything was not even but you really wouldn't know unless you sat and tasted it. My husband and I were craving seafood (crablegs) after a long day of service calls. I found this and was super pumped about the food and prices. As a first time visitor we were very pleased. The customer service was great. The ladies explained everything. We were super hungry and ended up spending 50 bucks... Needless to say we were very pleased with the food. Crablegs were sooo good. This was the WORSE food I have ever eaten. I'm Creole from New Orleans and I know good Crawfish, seafood, and soul food. This was not it. First off Creole food is not served with fried rice! I tried a piece of the lemon pepper chicken and almost threw up. I was truly scared to try the crawfish but I did. Big mistake. The person who was with me had the fried fish. It looked really good. But was horrible. If you want good Creole food a person with southern roots should be cooking it. I have been of fan of them since they opened. However for whatever reason this year the quality of the food has changed. Today I went on my lunch and as I was eating i found a hair at the bottom of my fried rice. I called and the young lady that I initially spoke with didn't apologize or anything she simply said "What kind of hair?" I'm thinking are you kidding me, why does that matter. The point is I found a hair. She then had me speak to one of the managers and she didn't apologize or anything just said bring it back and they will make a new order. Well ma'am i was on my lunch and unfortunately I couldn't. She then stated she needed to speak with the other manager to see what he wants to do. The young cashier was very rude. I ordered the fish and shrimp, I don't know why they call it Cajun because the only thing with flavor was the preseasoned fries . The food is good and well seasoned. However the fish is a cheaper Vietnamese version of catfish called Swai. You can taste real catfish versus an imitation. I wish more restaurants were transparent about what they are really selling. So the customer can make the decision if that's what they would like to consume. read more
