Bar is small but full of character. Within minutes of walking in was greeted by the bartenders with a warm smile and a hi welcome. Great start. Started of with a beer. Mmm frosty ice cold glass and cold beer. Big gold star in my book. Ordered house wings. Forgot what they are called. But they where hot and crispy and delicious. Amazing wings. Amazing service even bought me a beer. Super friendly staff. Made me feel like a regular. Definitely will come back. Walking in the place gives nice and cozy, had an attentive female bartender "OG Lindsay" she was great! If I come back I'd only want to deal with her. Ordered Wings ( honey hot, the works.) first bite gave over cooked at first , but Lindsay fixed that right away. Crowded lil bar and grill tucked away in a plaza. We were greeted immediately and told we could sit anywhere we liked. It was packed so we elected to sit outside on the patio bar. Our orders were taken fast and food came out hot. It seemed like a hot place to hangout but the smell of cigarette smoke turned me off. Whew, it's been 5 years since I wrote a review on JT's so it's time to give my favorite neighborhood spot some more love. Before having a baby, you could literally find us here (with my dad and uncle) almost every Saturday at noon! It is the best little neighborhood dive bar with DELICIOUS wings and other food. Fast forward to April 2020, one baby in, and under stay-at-home orders. We were craving our favorite wings and BLTs. So, we called it in for pick up. They walked it out to our car which was so incredible, especially during this time. The wings, the ranch, and the BLTs were everything that we needed and more! I highly recommend picking up takeout and supporting a great local business right now. We can't wait to go back in real life once things are up and running again! Time for an update... JT's is still operating for take-out during COVID19 and they are still making the best wings in town! This past Saturday night for #YelpsBigNightIn, my husband and I had a very tough time deciding on where to bring food in from. We narrowed it down to two places and JT's was one of them. JT's wings and french fries never disappoint... Within 30 minutes of calling, we had two orders of hot wings (all "the works"), a basket of french fries, and some fresh carrots and celery with the ranch... Friendly service as always to boot. The bartenders at JT's didn't want to serve us because we were not one of their regular customers. As a Caucasian man, I now understand what if feels like to be treated poorly, that I hear about from some of my friends with different skin color. Recently I was visiting a buddy in Scottsdale. He made a point of telling me we had to check this place out so we went right as they were opening. This is important because it is a small place that fills in fast. He told me the wings were to die for. We managed to snag two bar seats and sure enough the place filled in quick. Really good wings!!!! This is a bar. They have amazing specials almost everyday from Monday to Thursday. Monday they have 12 wings special. Tuesday is cheeseburger special. Wednesday is strips & steak special. Thursday is taco special. We ordered 6 wings to try. I got mild. I was surprised they weren't saucy and it was a bit spicy but so good. We also got the 2 for 1 burger special comes with cheese & fries! Also the lettuce, tomatoe, pickles, & onion come on the side. Also ask for mayo, taste way better with it. The burger was so good and thick. Also the cheese was so chessy!!! Inside was pretty dark and loud and not much room. We sat outside has about 6 seats outside. Some people smoke outside. I absolutely LOVE JTs, the wings and fries are divine! Once you go to JTs, you can never go back to regular wings. I believe they fry the wings, dip it in the sauce you select and then grill them. The flavor is embedded in the wings making it different from any other wings on the market. The place is very small and usually busy, especially if there is a game. I wouldn't try going on the weekends tbh unless you're getting take out and are okay waiting an hour for the wing. The few times I went during the week, I got pretty lucky with seating. Staff is very nice regardless of how busy it is and usually accommodate us and find us the best table. I highly recommend trying this place!! These are some of the best wings in town. As soon as I checked in on Yelp, I got some of my friends telling me they're jealous lol. I guess that's the best compliment you can have about food - when people you know reach out to you to let you know how they crave what you order. As far as the wings go, the quality is top notch. They are simply delicious! And most importantly, they definitely have some meat on their bones lol. I absolutely despise going to restaurants where I unknowingly order wings and to my disappointment, they're very small with little meat on them but at JT's, that's definitely not an issue lol. I, obviously can't speak of the restaurant's service since I had my order to go in this age of the carryout. But off the quality of the wings, it's worth visiting for an order or two. I've called this place on four separate occasions and no one answers the phone for take out orders. The line now says if they don't answer it's because it's too busy. It sounds like JT's is too busy for take out orders but doesn't want to admit it. I'm happy to go to Dirt Bags down the street that says they do take out and will actually do take out. After a long day of running errands, finishing up our Christmas lights, yard work and Christmas shopping, our friends suggested we get some beers and wings. What a perfect idea! My fiancé and I have been to this bar before but only for drinks. Our friends told us that they loved the wings here so the last time we came, we were so glad they introduced the wings to us. If you like dry wings that are deep-fried and grilled, this is the place for you. I've never been a fan of my food drenched in sauces so these were perfect for me. Perfect sizes and great ranch for dipping. Seriously my favorite wings in town. I've gotten medium wings both times and my fiancé gets hot. If you have leftovers, just pop them in the oven and get them toasty. Or you can be like my fiancé - eat them cold out of the fridge when you are hungover the next morning.
