I'm always craving wings, no matter the occasion. I usually go to my favorite spots but off numerous recommendations, I decided to give JT's Bar & Grill a test. And I'm glad I did! These are some of the best wings in town. As soon as I checked in on Yelp, I got some of my friends telling me they're jealous lol. I guess that's the best compliment you can have about food - when people you know reach out to you to let you know how they crave what you order. As far as the wings go, the quality is top notch. They are simply delicious! And most importantly, they definitely have some meat on their bones lol. I absolutely despise going to restaurants where I unknowingly order wings and to my disappointment, they're very small with little meat on them but at JT's, that's definitely not an issue lol. I, obviously can't speak of the restaurant's service since I had my order to go in this age of the carryout. But off the quality of the wings, it's worth visiting for an order or two. Horrible policy for Super Bowl customers. I arrived at 2:20 and was told I could only order one order of wings (one per person) and I had to eat at the restaurant. All I wanted was 2 orders to take home for my wife and I to watch the game. Meanwhile other orders were stacked along the wall of pre-ordered wings because they ordered prior to 11:00. I find humor in these negative reviews. I've been coming here for over 20 years. I agree it's nice to see familiar faces, but these folks work their ass off to provide everyone with a true local experience. Their drinks are perfect, wings are nuts and the atmosphere is my all time favorite. After a long day of running errands, finishing up our Christmas lights, yard work and Christmas shopping, our friends suggested we get some beers and wings. What a perfect idea! My fiancé and I have been to this bar before but only for drinks. Our friends told us that they loved the wings here so the last time we came, we were so glad they introduced the wings to us. If you like dry wings that are deep-fried and grilled, this is the place for you. I've never been a fan of my food drenched in sauces so these were perfect for me. Perfect sizes and great ranch for dipping. Seriously my favorite wings in town. I've gotten medium wings both times and my fiancé gets hot. If you have leftovers, just pop them in the oven and get them toasty. Or you can be like my fiancé - eat them cold out of the fridge when you are hungover the next morning. It's a tiny dive bar so don't expect to find a table for a group larger than 4. If you sit at the bar, you can see the chefs cooking your wings. Like I said, it's a small place. COVID-19 update! Although we miss hanging at our favorite watering hole more often, they are doing everything possible to be safe and considerate to all guests and employees alike. So here's a review I wish it could be hidden as I really don't want alot of people coming here. Yes wanted to be selfish, but have to share with the rest of my Elite Yelper's. This place "ROCKS", from the time you walk thru the door to getting your first drink and food, the service here is impeccable, our bartenders were on top of every request, even following up when you needed something else. I appreciate this type of service as it needs to be copied everywhere else. The food, well you can't go wrong with fresh ingredients and preparation, then open kitchen concept shows you what is going on with your order and the cooks are killing it, wings are exceptional (similar to Kitchen56 when they were open 6 years old) grilled to perfection. Went last night with a group of about 20 of us and it was awesome. The works wings were by far the best wings I've ever had in my life and Kerry was an awesome bartender. Even with such a big group, we were all able to be accommodated. I loved the decor & juke box as well. Overall great time & I would recommend this place to anyone. I've called this place on four separate occasions and no one answers the phone for take out orders. The line now says if they don't answer it's because it's too busy. It sounds like JT's is too busy for take out orders but doesn't want to admit it. I'm happy to go to Dirt Bags down the street that says they do take out and will actually do take out. Just a poorly managed bar "Chuck" who claims to the owner, is actually the manager, is rude, usually drunk and does little to zero work while the staff is busting their butts. Regulars want him gone minus the ones he gives free drinks..Bartenders openly state he just gets in the way sooner or later the owners will figure it out read more

Best wings EVER! I've been going to JTs for almost 9 years when I originally moved to Arcadia. I now live in N Scottsdale but that doesn't stop me and my 2 boys going weekly for the best chicken wings! The team there are extremely nice and hard-working to please customers. Yes, they get busy, but there's a reason for that! Great food! We always come in (or try) on Friday's as they open earlier at noon and either Friday or Saturday as they open at 11am. I've been hearing about JTs wings for a very long time. I finally had to see what all the fuss was about. My wife and I arrived at 6:00. Not just any ordinary Saturday night. Game 4 of the Suns vs Clipper Western Conference final.s. It was packed!!! We got the very last table and as we sat we were immediately greeted. I wish I had gotten the names of the two SPECTACULAR bartenders/servers who took care of us. The place was literally wall to wall jammed. It didn't matter. Another day of wing quest...and I have to say, this little "divey" bar is a gem. You will miss it if you drive too fast, the bar itself has little in the way of signage. They do have a street-side sign that you can navigate by. The décor is, well "tchotchkes" hanging from the ceiling. Think "Shoefiti" meets grandma's garage sale... Doesn't change the fact that they have $5 mini pitchers and awesome wings in various flavors, soaked and then grilled to perfection. Time stands still at this watering hole full of nicely dressed drunks. It was almost two years since my last visit, but nothng seemed to have changed as a loud drunk (just like my last time) had posted up at the bar and was telling anybody within earshot that "i am drunk and I don't give a blank." It probably is more of the management's fault that they just overserve the guy, then let him harass patrons (not me, but the guy next to me) and then watch and wave goodbye to him as he jumps in his car with 10 beers in his system. Arcadia's finest, more golf shirts than T-shirts also at this dive bar for people with money, who are slumming and cheap at the same time. Oh yeah, had two tacos for 95 cents each. After checking the reviews, I decided to try this place just for the chicken wings. I drove over on a Sunday evening after work. This place is small and it was full of people so that was a good sign. As a Black Woman, I walked in and noticed that I was the only person of color in the establishment. I stood at the bar for about 10 minutes without even being acknowledged by the bartenders. I literally had to ask a gentleman at the bar if he would kindly get the bartenders attention. When she looked my way, She said, "What can I do for you?" She didn't smile nor make me feel welcomed. I've been a bartender for over 20 years. We smile and greet every customer as the same. I mentioned that I would like to place a to-go order. I ordered The Works (chicken wings). They had no flavor at all. I'm confused about what the hype is all about. I was not thanked for coming in, and this establishment made me really feel out of place. Don't worry, I won't be back. Seriously THE best hidden gem anywhere near. We drive all the way from buckeye for a date night. Wings are as good as reviews say. If you try one thing try the wings. First time visiting JT's Bar and Grill on 12/20/20. Great burger, great wings, great drinks. The only reason I have listed 3 stars was that we waited for our food for 1 hour sitting outside. The waitress was so kind and knew it was taking a long time, she kindly gave us a round of free drinks. I understand that there was a large amount of to-go orders at the time we had ordered. But it just doesn't quite explain why other customers that arrived after us had already been served and finished their meals. I will still give JT's another try! JT's is an interesting small bar in Arcadia. There always seem to be a handful of people or a full bar of people. The employees are friendly and there is a bunch of memorabilia located within the bar. I stopped by for lunch one day to grab some drinks and food before a concert. I attempted the Buffalo chicken sandwich and mozzarella sticks. I want to love it but its really just Average bar food. I wish the buffalo chicken sandwich had buffalo sauce on it instead of a rub on the chicken. I'll have to test some more options next time I am there! read more
