The food here tastes good and feels comforting, the desserts are sweet and authentic, the staff is attentive, and the place itself has a lot of personality and history despite its compact scale. The prices are incredibly affordable. They only accept cash so keep that in mind. I highly recommend this place for a quick bite of popular Chilean dishes.

It sucks that this place doesn't have more reviews because it is absolutely amazing! I've been coming here for years, stopping in every so often and each time is better than the last. The staff is so nice and attentive! They don't make fun of me when I mispronounce every word so that's definitely appreciated hahaha All the food items I have tried here are so good! For the food I would go for the hot dog which comes with avocado and mayo which I have never had before on a hotdog but I'm so glad I have now discovered it! The cuisine is from Chile so the dishes are so new and interesting to me! They also make the hotdog on this amazing toasted bread so it's not your average bun which I love. My mom has had various sandwiches there and has told me they all are so fresh. For the dessert: You must try everything once, no joke you will not regret it. Many of the items are made with dulce de leche so if you love caramel you will love all the dessert! My favorite is the Pancake which is layered sponge cake with caramel that melts in your mouth. The Alfajor and all the other desserts are also to die for! This place has to be my favorite dessert on Long Island just because of how fresh and authentic everything tastes. Might I add the portions and prices are great!

I've been a resident of Valley Stream my entire life. I've probably eaten at every deli and cafe in town and countless ones from the surrounding area. Usually I get an egg sandwich that is overdone on day old bread. This has been an answer to a problem for me. I know it's a bakery and a great place for sandwiches but honestly, no one makes a better egg sandwich than this guy. Their bread is made fresh everyday and is some hybrid of a roll and a biscuit. It is my favorite bread. Their lunch specials and sandwiches in my opinion are also stand alone as my favorite in town. The place is SUPER clean and you can watch the chef work his magic in the kitchen from the counter. He has an extreme amount of focus and precision. This place is my new favorite. Try anything with confidence.

Stopped off for some beef empanadas after dropping my wife off at work. The meat had a nice flavor to it though the roll part was a bit too doughy. Still all in all a nice clean place with a basic menu I will try it again and one of the other dishes.

The best chilean hotdogs. I love the environment and the food is delicious. You need to try hotdogs with avocado at least once in your life.

We are from Chile and my mother has always enjoyed having food from our beloved country, so it was natural that we would visit San Antonio and happy occasion. As we entered, the bakery looked fine, but the woman attending seemed to have an attitude when she motion for us to go on to get seated. The dining room that had always been decorated with murals and paintings was now all bare brick walls. We sat down and waited for the rest of our party to arrive while ordering a few empanadas.. The shot came when we were presented menus, which had shrunk down to 1/3 the size and gone up at least 35 to 40% in cost.. the empanadas we ate were mediocre at best. After the rest of the party arrived, no one came to the table for at least 10 minutes at which point we decided it was not a good place to have a celebration. It was a very disappointing experience for what had been a good restaurant.
