    Biscuit with apple butter
    Sarah K.

Wonderful team behind the bar. I always enjoy their warm biscuit and the apple butter. It's made from scratch. This place is always bustling with college students, faculty, staff and locals. It's inviting while allowing private work on a shared large table.

i am not a big coffee person but enjoy coffee shops for the vibe. the chai is quite sweet for my taste. the food is pretty mediocre. the two times i have been here, it is crazy packed so expect to have trouble finding a table. i enjoyed the environment. i sat outside to see the campus across the street.

Oatmilk latte and bacon egg & cheese drop biscuit with avocado

Such a cute spot with delicious coffee and drop biscuits. I ordered a decalf oatmilk latte and drop biscuit with bacon, egg, cheese & avocado. The biscuit has the perfect texture and great flavor. My preference is a bit more of a savory biscuit for an egg sando but it was still very tasty. Staff is also super nice.

What a cute, quaint, unassuming spot! This spot is probably no secret to the students in the area, but as a newcomer to the Raleigh area - it was a treat to find this little spot! The coffee, cozy vibe, food options, and outside seating was delightful! On a weekend morning, it was fairly busy but there was high turnover for outdoor seating!

Just had a great light breakfast- wonderful ambiance - quick service and friendly- my latte had beautiful presentation! - Their blueberry compote with biscuit was quite possibly the best biscuit I had! So delicious!

Our son is at NC State as a Freshman and we are locals that pass this location several times a week. We have been wanting to try it and we finally made it a priority. We arrived after 4pm and didn't realize they closed at 5pm, so maybe that's why we really weren't greeted warmly. We both got the almond latte and it was delicious, not overly sweet and the temperature was perfect. We got a spot to sit outside and enjoyed a nice breeze while we drank our coffee. We had a perfect view of the State Bell tower and enjoyed watching the graduates taking their photos in their cap and gowns. We will definitely be back to try other menu items and enjoy the outside.

London Fog and Blueberry Pearl Waffle

What a nice surprise to find a Jubala coffee near NCSU! I've been to the one in Lafayette village and did not realize they have three Raleigh locations (North Raleigh, North Hills, and Hillsborough street by NCSU). The coffee and tea is just as good and pretty as the Lafayette village location. Maybe I went at a less busy time, but it was quick and easy to order and find a seat. Due to the heat I decided to dine inside. I placed an order at the counter and chose a seat at the table beside the kitchen. The blueberry pearl waffle and London fog latte arrived shortly. Now I'm sure they are more impressive since I don't know how they are made, but I don't care, I'll continue to be impressed and choose pearl sugar waffles whenever they are offered. This one in particular was larger than others I have seen and filled with delicious blueberries! The London fog accompanied the waffle well. The temperature was perfect, the design clear and aesthetic, and the flavor was present and faint (not overpowering). Overall, lovely place for breakfast, brunch, and coffee/tea! Parking: nearby lot and street parking available (free and paid options) Employees: welcoming, friendly, and helpful Atmosphere: typical university coffee shop vibe. Reasonable noise level. Noise mainly from conversations and customers making phone calls. Bathrooms: located down the hall out the side door towards the Aloft foyer. Bathrooms are clean and well stocked.

This is by far the best biscuit I have had in my entire life. So soft and delicious! Overall 10/10!

Turkey Avocado sandwich with a side salad
    Jessica C.

Delicious! I stopped by for lunch on Juneteenth and there was free parking in the street since it was a holiday. It's also nice in the summer when school is out and it's a little bit slower. I got the turkey avocado sandwich and it did not disappoint. The sandwich was grilled so the cheese and turkey was hot and melted. The avocado was fresh and it was nice to add the arugula on top of the sandwich. I'd definitely visit again.

    Housemade Granola & Greek Yogurt

I went here for a quick bite to eat with my friend. Since this is right off of campus, you can tell it's a spot for students. I got the yogurt parfait. The granola was really good. My friend had the tomato jam sandwich and enjoyed it as well.

I came in a little after lunch shift the other day and was a bit indecisive about my order but the very patient and nice girl at the counter helped me decide. I ended up ordering the Meatball with Provolone. The sandwich was well made with large meatballs and both the bread and the meat tasted fresh. Previously I had issues with the line situation, but in this case there was only one other person in the restaurant, so that was less of an inconvenience. The other, more serious issue centered around gnats and flies. I can confidently say that was not an issue when I revisted the other day. I was pleased with my second visit and the friendly, helpful girl who served me, I believe her name was Leah. I plan to return and perhaps I can convince my work to cater from here in the near future.

"Giant" sandwich is somewhat true in that the bread is over-sized compared to sliced bread -- but meat was lacking for sure. Friendly greeting upon entering. We ordered the grape leaves, baklava, namoora and tabbouli. I am Lebanese and these are staples in our home. The grape leaves were extremely dry and tough. The rice was very undercooked and the leaves themselves were so dry and tough we could barely chew through them. We ordered 12 and thought maybe it was a fluke but all 12 were completely inedible and we threw them out immediately. The baklava was okay, nothing to write home about. Very simple syrup forward and you couldn't taste much else (we ordered the walnut). The namoora was stale. Very dry. Namoora should melt in your mouth with with a slight chew. This was again, tough and stale. We threw those out as well. Lastly, our favorite salad, tabbouli. The lemon taste was nonexistent. The parsley wasn't chopped fine as Tabbouli should be. It was a watery mess. Overall, we won't be back. We spent over $75 on 4 items and left feeling hungry and bamboozled. There are other Lebanese food spots to visit in the Raleigh area, I will stick to those. Please do better when representing Lebanese cuisine. 15 workers behind the counter can seem like you're doing something right but in the end, it all comes down to the freshness and authenticity of what you are claiming to serve.

They have a wide variety of sandwiches (hogies, deli style, cheesesteaks, chicken cutlets), along with burger and salad options. We opted for a cheesesteak, deli sandwich, and small salad which was the perfect amount of food for two people. My only word of caution is that the Calabrian Ceasar dressing is quite spicy, so use with caution or pick another if you don't like spicy food. The bread, meat, and toppings were all fresh and brought unique flavors that worked very well together. There was a good amount of seating both inside and outside that was clean and well kept. Be sure to check out the daily drink specials too - when we went it was $2 Tecate cans. Will definitely be back!

You can order at the counter or sit at a table and scan a QR code to order. We sat outside and did the latter option. I ordered a regular sized Dagwood. It's your choice of turkey or ham, bacon, fresh mozzarella, shredded lettuce, tomato, basil pesto, garlic aioli, & house vinaigrette on a sesame roll. I chose turkey with no garlic aioli. The online menu made it super easy to choose and/or remove ingredients. We also ordered a large order of curly fries to share too. The food came out in about 10ish minutes after ordering and an employee delivered it straight to our table. The sandwich was really good. I love pesto so it's hard to go wrong with that. My only critique was the sesame roll was a little too hard to bite for my taste. Whenever I bit into it, my sandwich kept falling apart from the other end. The true star of the meal were the curly fries. They tasted similar to the ones at Arby's. Parking was super easy to find in this area. There was an open lot not too far from Eastcut so we parked there and walked over. Overall, great place for a quick bite!
