Unquestionably the best donuts in Utah. The apple fritter is enormous and full of apple bits. The filled raspberry is divine and the monthly special is always worth the risk. The only suggestion I have is that they get another hot chocolate mix... the one they use is just OK and they would benefit from using a Ghirardelli or Guittard mix. Stopped in at around 8:00 am, Judy was working and since it was my wife's birthday, Judy sang her a limited edition happy birthday song. Just finished off a raspberry fritter and a glazed croissant. Both were heavenly. I looked at the concept of a glazed croissant with a bit of skepticism, but the end result is amazing. All of the best qualities of a croissant with all the sweetness of a donut. Great texture and great frosting. They also have an amazing mix of soda flavors with more than just your typical syrups. Add-ons include real fruit purees and juices as well. One large failure on their part is the lack of soda water, instead of fully sweetened or diet sodas. I asked for a menu item called the Teryn, anticipating that it came with sparkling water, but they told me it was just still water. I did substitute in fresca for a refreshing blend with raspberry puree, lemon and lime juice squeezed in as well. Great overall result, but would have been fine with sparkling water. The ambience is quaint and charming, with a real small town flavor. The food is top-notch, and donuts delectable. I noticed the buttermilk bar is called Judy's bar and hence is the house specialty. I tried one bite and it's plain, but great. I didn't try the drive-thru feature, but can't see how it will be helpful if you're in a rush. Yesterday was rainy, and I'm sure the drive-thru was busy. Parking in the back isn't plentiful, but an unpaved lot allows for some overflow. Mandy and Emily helped me. Both were very knowledgeable and super helpful. It's a family-run affair and are either related or friends with the owner so they are vested in the success. I hope they do great, but based on the quality of their product, they don't need any of my "wishes'. They'll do great on their own. read more

My wife and I were traveling through Midway back in February and decided to stop by to pick up a donut. We noticed they were closing down in a few minutes and had a craving for one. As they were packing up, the owner was so sweet that she spent the time talking to us sharing stories of her little store and BnB. We picked up a few donuts and continued on our way. As far as taste... A++++. Nice thick non-oily dough that creates a perfect consistency and flavor. We had the maple frosting, fritter, chocolate Andes mint, and a few others. All was the perfect level of sweetness. Donuts didn't feel dry or stale. We were heading back to California that night and the donuts tasted just as great the second day! I kept asking myself how can a donut still taste this good the next day! Best of all, we made a great friend at Judy's and we can't speak highly enough about them. On top of all of this... You can work something out with them to have them shipped to your doorstep!!! I know because we did! We can't wait to visit Utah again and make the special trip back to Judy's! read more

Holy cow, these are INCREDIBLE. Best donuts we have had! We tried the apple fritter as big as our faces, the Bavarian cream filled, maple bar, and strawberry iced donuts. We were shocked when we ordered 6 donuts plus a fritter and the 6 donuts took up the whole box and the fritter wouldn't fit! This dough is the best. Perfectly fluffy and moist. The place is cute and quaint but that won't bring me back for donuts. The selection is rather limited. I got a blueberry cake donut, a raspberry jelly filled donut, donut holes, and Bavarian cream filled donuts. My daughter did enjoy her raspberry donut which was given to us fresh off the tray. As for the others, they were honestly just ok. The glazed donuts ( holes, cream filled) were honestly a bit hard almost as if they'd been sitting out awhile. Had a lobby full of people with only one girl at the counter. Waited almost 10 minutes and then people started coming to the drive-through and the girl said 'these people (in the drive through) are in a hurry so can I take care of them first?'
