If you have read any of my other reviews, I hold customer service as a base to my reviews. And this store delivers! When I moved to NV from CA, I came by here to check out the local shops, right off the bat I was treated with great customer service even though I did not purchase anything. I ended up coming back after purchasing a couple of suppressors through Silencer Shop and had to use the kiosk inside the store to complete some paperwork. Not only did Juggernaut have the best prices listed for the suppressors in the area, they were super friendly when answering questions. It's a small store tucked in the industrial section of Sparks. It's packed full of handguns from Sig's to Steyrs. They have a small selection of long guns. Greg is very friendly and can answer the questions you have. The prices are good that I had to do a double take. They are cheaper than the big stores (Scheels/Cabelas). I transferred a gun to them from a customer that bought a gun from me on gunbroker. Very unprofessional, told the customer he did not have the gun. Checked tracking and it was delivered 4 days previously. Called left a message did not return phone call, called him again and finally said he had the gun. I asked him why he told the customer he did not have the gun and he said he wasn't able to locate it "yesterday". I included the customer's information on my FFL that was enclosed with the gun and he still asked me for his phone number so he could call him right now. I transfer plenty of guns and have never treated another dealer this way or had one treat me or my customer this way. Very unhappy and I would look for a more reliable person for transfers. read more

This place is great. Forgot the guy's name, but he was very helpful. Other places in town (just read my other reviews) weren't even on the same planet as Juggernaut. I had a gun transferred that I won in a raffle, didn't have to pay tax (since I didn't pay anything for it...other places still charge), very fast processing, and because of that I bought a bunch of accessories and ammo. My wife and I came by last week on our trip to Reno. The guys and gal at the counter were friendly and welcoming... they even let me check out all the toys no questions asked. It was a relaxed environment which I wish other shops would emulate. The shop wasn't that big, but there was a lot to look at. I was in the area and figured I might as well drop into a gun store, so I went to yelp to weave out the bad and hopefully choose a good shop. I read the reviews on many stores around the area and didn't find anything attractive until I checked out the reviews of juggernaut arms. My wife and I walked in and found a guest talking to an employee, who acknowledged me and carried on with his customer. I looked around, picked out a few things, and brought them to the counter and once Greg finished up with his customer he attended me. We struck a conversation and carried it for a few minutes. We talked about California (the state I lived in at the time) and got to know each other which made the experience feel welcoming. This shop is perfect for people who are getting into firearms, as well as for those who are expert marksman. They have a knowledgeable staff, nice selection of handguns (not much in rifles), and the customer service was awesome which will have a returning customer if I'm ever in the area again! read more

This review is my initial impression on this local gun shop. I'm new to guns and building ARs. Been hunting a few times with my dad, but have only shot a 7mm Rem mag rifle. Also have gone shooting with friends that are into this hobby, but have only shot their guns. Now I'm starting to get into it myself and planning to build my first AR. I went to this local shop with a buddy that's also starting out and just wanted to look around and maybe gain some insight on how to build ARs, how transfers work, and maybe even purchase a gun from them. We were greeted once we walked in (I believe it was Greg). I walked around for a little bit looking at all the cool things they had on stock. The shop is on the small side, but it doesn't disappoint with the amount of gear, parts and firearms they had there. I wanted to ask about transfers after, but I've read that local shops typically scoff at doing transfers because it doesn't really support their business, but when I asked about it here at Juggernaut, they were more than helpful on explaining to me how it works. I asked if I can get a certain company's lower and transfer it from them and he said absolutely, they already have their FFL and wouldn't have any issues with it. Great! Not once did they push me on buying something off the shelves instead. I follow them on IG, and they do have great daily deals! So sooner than later, I will most likely buy a firearm from them. They have individual parts for ARs as well if you're planning to build from the ground up, I'm sure they'll have everything you'll need in house. They have an array of pistols on shelves that you can freely pick up and get a feel for. You can also ask to see rifles and other cool firearms on the wall racks. Overall great experience. No cons that I can think of, except for the small space. But trust me, you can spend an hour just by looking at all the great gear they have. I will definitely be using this shop for all of my transfers and gun related purchases. read more

The owner of this business is reveling in the current chaos of what is happening in our country right now. He is rude, unprofessional, and doesn't care about customer service...at all. I am retired LEO. When I was in there, I literally saw him sell a firearm to a person that had just been given the money by another person. The owner, told them to do that stuff outside before coming in. Seriously?! I reported it to SPD and BATF, so we will see what happens. This place is shady and only cares about the bottom line. I tried to have him hold a firearm for me and that I'd be there in 2 hours. He literally laughed at me while telling me first come first serve only. This business is corrupt, shady, and unprofessional. They've already had a brush with law enforcement for deception about a few weapons. I hope LEO does something because this place is sooooo corrupt. I mean seriously? You allow a person to purchase a firearm when the actual buyer is handing him cash in front of the owner and he tells them to do that outside next time? Can you say, "blatant straw purchase." Came to this store a few times to get a few odds and ends when my buddy was building my AR. The guys were super nice and super genuine. I came back to find to odd ball new guns and they managed to get both for me. Very cool guys, down to earth, and very knowledgeable. They will be my only place that I stop in and get my stuff now. Been to the other stores, and it seems they are interested in just making a sale or seem super arrogant, not here. They were more interested in getting me exactly what I wanted. I've been following the FaceBook page for a while and saw they had .22 ammo in stock at reasonable prices. I went up to get a box the next day but they were sold out (as is the case everywhere). I spent some time checking out the small shop, and here are my impressions: Well lit, well organized, great inventory for being so small. The guy working there is going places...solid business model for sure. A lot of places try to mark up their guns to cover all their expenses in one or two sales, this place makes money by pushing volume. Juggernaut Arms is top notch for firearms sales and gunsmith services in the Reno and Sparks area. My family, friends and I have used them for new gun purchases and gunsmith work. Their prices are excellent. I know of no one in the area who sells new guns for less money. We have had basic gunsmith services performed though them, too, and the work has been very good. Their hourly gunsmith rate is the lowest I've found in the area. The customer service I have received through Greg, one of the owners, is excellent. He's very personable and knowledgeable. I needed an FFL to transfer a firearm for me and with no hesitation did they provide the service at a good price. What surprised me even more was that yes, the salesman did ask if I needed anything else (I was only in for the transfer), he was not pushy, nor did he try to up-sale me to some other product in their inventory. I met Greg through mutual friends and he had mentioned about stopping in to his store when I have time. I finally made it in the other day and wish I would have made in back when I was first invited. Greg and his staff are very well educated on not some but any and all products they carry. They are a very laid back no pressure business. They want you the customer to make sure you are going to be happy with your purchase or don't purchase anything until you are ready. I went in and was not sure between two different brands of guns which to go with. Most shops would tell you to buy the most expensive one regardless if you like the feel of it or not. It was closing time when I was in but again no pressure to buy or rush me to hurry out. This store is all about the customer. I can't comment on the other reviewers problem with layaway, but I my service from them has been excellent. They have the best prices period. Go ahead go look at their prices and compare them online, they are normally the same or less. Also there is never any pressure to buy and I dont feel akward just looking at their selection without buying.
