I Stopped to have lunch today May 11, 2026 at Jugos Vallarta. I ordered the Camarones Rancheros and a bottled soft drink. I really wanted a coffee but I saw how the server put something into the coffee, at first I thought it might of been something to get rid of the acidity in it, but she proved me wrong when she proceeded to taking her pen and just when she was about to use it to stir the coffee, she must have felt me looking at her and placed the pen down slowly and stepped back. I changed my mind and requested the bottled drink. My food was horrible the shrimp was dirty and smelly and the beans had a flavor of hanging around for too long. a I went up to the cashier and paid my food. I asked her to follow me to my table and she did. I showed her how dirty the shrimp were and told her that my intention was not to get a free meal that the cook shouldn't be serving that food. All she said is I will let the cook know. $23.00 later I feel sick to my stomach. read more

$4.30 for a huge, healthy fruit and veggie drink? In this day and age, that is a steal. But that is exactly what I paid for a huge, possibly 16 oz (probably more) blended drink. My "Vitalidad" combined pineapple, strawberries, orange, celery and carrot juice. And if that wasn't enough, once she filled our huge cup, there was *still* some left over. So she topped off our cup once we had drunk it down a bit. No waste here. The fruits are naturally sweet. No added sugar as far as I could tell. Just pure, pulpy deliciousness. The juice bar is nothing to look at. Huge tubs of precut beets, scrubbed carrots, etc., cluttered the counter, no pretenses. But the friendly girl made it in a flash and it was excellent and fresh tasting. Tiny, café-like, with just a few tables, the restaurant serves a few soups and familiar Mexican cuisine items (enchiladas, tacos, rellenos, tortas). Tried the chile relleno on another visit. It would have been perfect if it had only been hot enough to melt the cheese inside. No problem, brought it home and warmed it up. Yeah, I'd be willing to do it again. It was tasty. Well I have to start off by saying I've never felt more at home at a restaurant. The lady at the front I believe her name was lupita instantly made me feel welcome and excited to try the food. I was missing a home cooked meal since I moved here from Texas. The caldo de pollo was just like my grandma used to make growing up. When I need my juicing fix during the work day, I make sure to drive to Jugos Vallarta for my inexpensive thinking drink. Fortunately for me, Jugos Vallarta is less than 5 minutes from work. Lets talk about the different juicing drinks available at JV. Two of my favorites are the Vampiro and the Veneno, vampire and venom. The Vampiro is an amazing strong drink with beets, celery, apples, pineapple, cucumber, carrot, and orange. It literally looks like you are drinking blood, it's so good. The Veneno is the combination of spinach, celery, pineapple, and orange. A green looking venomous drink that is refreshing and thirst quenching. They have a total of 12 combinations of delicious drinks to try. I'm sure you will find one that will stimulate your tastebuds. Unlike other large-chain juicing establishments, JV's prices for fresh juice drinks are very reasonable. Where an extra large drink will cost you $9-10 dollars at other places, JV charges $4 and change. Half the price for the same great tasting juice. I have not had the opportunity to try their good looking dishes, but it does smell pretty good when I walk in and see someone having grilled chicken or a torta. If you enjoy fresh fruit, juice, and healthy looking Mexican food, you need to give Jugos Vallarta a shot. Almost forgot, if you are a soccer fan they always have a game playing on the televisions. Went in with my son and ordered la hawaina fruit salad without cottage cheese, and a torta de aguacate and queso fresco. The fruit salad was divine! That alone is worth 5 stars. Very fresh fruit and what is not to love about a bionico in all its la lechera goodness. On the other hand, my torta that I was very excited about ended up highly disappointing me. It was delicious at first, until I realized the cheese was slightly bad. Queso fresco should be creamy and mild, this cheese was just maybe 5-6 days too old. It had a funky taste and smell once I inspected further. Had the queso fresco been fresh I would have given this place 4-5 stars. Furthermore the salsas were DIVINE! I loved the green salsa and red salsa. I took some home. Yummiest salsas I've tasted at a Mexican restaurant in a long time. read more

The Hawaiian Fruit Salad is made of cantaloupe, papaya, bananas, pineapple, granola, chopped almonds, strawberries, and coconut. Toppings provided are condensed milk and honey - and the flavor is incredible. I regularly eat this for lunch as an occasional opt-out to reduce the amount of meat in my diet. If you didn't bring friends, stick with the small, the large is enough for two people at least, and the small is enough of a meal by itself. They also prepare various fruit smoothies that are full of energy. The tacos are only 98¢ and very good as well. A full Mexican menu is available. Atmosphere is a little quirky, this would definitely be described as a hole in the wall. This is for the fruit salad only. My co-workers so kindly brought back an order of the Hawaiiana Fruit Salad for me and it was DELICIOUS! Mixed of fruits topped with cottage cheese, coconut shavings, granola, almonds, and raisins. They also give you honey and condensed milk if you like it sweet. I actually didn't need either of the sauces. What a great way to get some fruits into your diet! I've never had cottage cheese before and this was not bad at all. I passed on the coconut cause I can't stand it but kept the raisins even though I don't usually like them. I ended up eating the whole thing (took me a good 3 hours while working) and I think I'll definitely be coming back for more. Since I didn't go, I can't speak for the location or service. However, I can say that even as a take home order, the fruit salad tasted great (10 min drive) when I got it and all the way through the afternoon. read more
