My favorite juice bar! All flavors are amazing. I think I visit too often ;/. However they are addicting.

I recently started patronizing this California based company that is open to franchise. It's a hit and miss with each store based solely on the long term employment of each employee. If you happen to walk in and sales associate is a little slow or doesn't know much about the menu based on the amount of feedback you get from your questions, back off a bit and help make your order pleasant. With that being said, you know when you walk and the staff greets you with open arms and you automatically feel a good sense of mind, hit them with questions and challenge them, it's a win, win mutually. Most of these storefronts and floor plans of each store are somewhat identical, very simple wall display cases stock a limited supply of snack foods for on the go. They carry protein bars, sugar free cookies, health chip and they also have carbonated drinks in a free standing refrigerator. As for all of the produce such as vegetables and fruits, they are in complete view and you can see your juice getting prepared. Menu is very colorful and includes visuals in helping to select. 5 sections include; raw juices, smoothies, bowls, boosts and a wild fusion of veggies and fruits ( 2 item only). Honestly, each section has a vast selection of many different offerings to cater to everyone's likes and taste. I'm a repeat customer when I'm skipping a meal in my daily travels and find myself ordering "acai smoothie". Loaded with apple/strawberry juice blend, banana, guarana. It seriously does fill you up and holds you through quitting time at work and tips the scale at 500 calories (who cares) I don't. Another favorite is consuming shots of extract ginger that definitely hits your body good and automatically feel it in your veins and I feel like it gives me a nice jump start followed with a courtesy cranberry juice chaser. Raw juice menu depending how I feel, I seem to fall back on "invigorator". Orange juice blend with kale, spinach and pineapple, no ice. This in my opinion is a good source of vitamins if you're not too savy on swallowing horse pills that make you gag. I'm a big believer in helping small independent businesses and if you're in a franchise business, I support you as well in your endeavor. Parking: Most of these franchise storefronts come attached to a retail property offering parking spaces or unless you're in a heavily dense metropolitan city "downtown" you might have to seek mass public parking with cost. It was good I didn't stay here long it's a much smaller location then what I've seen before. But I was in and out of there real quick. Upside is the shopping center it's located in is filled with other places as you go along the foothill target,99cent store and Ross. But other then that service was quick and was satisfied with my order. read more

This place deserves 0 stars, they always have an attitude the owner always has a bad attitude as well, I ordered a smoothie yesterday and they didn't even bother to fully blend it the chunks of açaí were still at the top and the bowls I ordered were completely melted when I received them and this is not the first time the stuff I order is disgusting , another order I had placed was for orange juice and it had a fly in it ! So unsanitary , this place is horrible, I do not recommend it to anyone!!!! This place needs to be under new management or just shut down. read more

This place is usually very busy, but I caught it at the right time (or so I thought) when there was only two other people in there. The cashier, and one of the customers was involved in a deep conversation. I felt like I was an intrusion as I stood at the counter waiting to be helped. The cashier stepped away from the counter and continued their conversation. I was not acknowledged, or asked to wait. She was so into the conversation that she didn't even bother to help the other employee with the pending orders. My order wasn't taken until her conversation was over, the customers drinks were made, and they had left the store. As my order was being taken, the cashier never looked at, or greeted me, and I wasn't thanked for waiting. During that time she seemed a bit short with me. She took my order, then walked in the back. I felt like I was bothering her by coming in there. My order was quick, and simple. I ordered a blueberry, acai smoothie that was yummy, very refreshing, and filling. Honestly the most rude employees. I hate complaining but I come in here constantly after work outs and never had good experiences. They're all girls and they never greet you when you walk in. Constantly give dirty looks and 0 customer service. Idk who the manager is but if you're reading please give some customer service classes to your employees! I like this location because it is easy to get to and it's right near local gyms. If you feel like a healthier option I would definitely recommend coming here. This store is a little smaller than other juice it ups but it makes up for it with its customer service. At times it may be a little slow here but nothing too bad. Great location and great service. The most expensive Juice it up around. Smoothies are very inconsistent in taste and they use a lot of ice - while also charging highest price for smoothies across the board. Smoothies are anywhere from $0.50-$1.25 more here. Better off driving over to Day Creek for a better, and cheaper smoothie. read more

This is a great Juice It Up location! I always come here. They are friendly and are always happy to substitute the fruits in my smoothies. I love the mega mango mania , strawberry wave, and the evergreen. It is delicious and refreshing. I have to say that I have been going to Juice It Up on Foothill & Elm for over 10 years now, from day one the owner was so nice and made me feel welcome! After he learned my name, every time I would go in he would address my by my first name. Every employee learned how I make my smoothie the way I like it, or if it was a new employee the owner would stop whatever he was doing to show the new employee how I like my smoothie. I'm very hurt as I read many negative reviews and all I can say is those bad reviews are the product of a disgruntled former employee or employees! Friendly staff but it always annoys me how anytime I ask for the juice-pretzel deal, the "pretzel machine has been turned off". WTF? closing hours is listed at 9pm. I come at 7pm, right after work. For the about 3-4 weeks (M-F), along with my coworkers, have been taking 1 oz shots of wheatgrass. We've all been on this health stint since the new year and I have to say it shows, thank you very much! Right before I opted out of continuing on, did I discover that this location and no other surrounding Juice It Up! (less than10 miles from work), carries alternative shots other than wheat grass; noni, goji berries, and mangosteen. Now for someone like me who has read up on the benefits of wheatgrass was very excited to hear that they carried the above mentioned. Choose any of these, stick to it for a minimum of two weeks, and youre bound to feel and notice a difference. They all carry powerful antioxidants and in their own right, benefit you in their own respective way. I've been off wheatgrass for about 2 weeks now and notice a considerable change in my energy levels (lack thereof), and skin. On occassion, I will stop in for an acai berry bowl or smoothie but have considered getting back on shots and rotating my options. While I do agree with fellow yelpers that the owner can come off impersonal but his store offers a greater variety, clever smoothie combinations and double-stamp Tuesdays. Whuuttt?! I visit this location quite often and the first few times I went everything was great. Recently I've been into the juicers and they are very refreshing. However the employees do not wash their hands!! When I actually paid attention one time I walked in and one of the girls was in the process of putting her hair in a bun. When I got to the cash register I was going to see if she washed her hands first or not. So she walks over and takes my order so I figured she will wash when she is done taking my order. Which she didn't!!! I was very put off but let it go. The next time I went in an employee was eating something then when I got to the register and ordered she didn't wash her hands either!!!! It makes you wonder what have these girls been touching Allday and don't wash there hands or use gloves!!! Since there is never a manager in I called one day to complain and the manager happened to be in I expressed the situations I've encountered and she seemed to rush me off the phone and not care' Needless to say I will okay visit this location anymore!!!!! Literally the worst juice it up ive been to and ive collected thousands of points from various locations. They have overcharged me every time ive gone. And the first time he said it would be reflected back into my account which it never was and gave me a hard time when I actually came back for the $15 difference like i was a liar. I had to pull up my bank statements just to get my cash back and when i ordered drinks that time they over charged me again. And also didnt give me my 50 points for spending $50 on that day. Just seem very incompetent and sketchy for a simple transaction. No need to be sketchy or shady for legitimate transactions. I would never go back here. Went in around 8:35 this morning. Bought a large lava flow. Grabbed one of the larger (boba) sized straws they have. Drove to work and began drinking it upon arrival. Less than half way through and a very sharp, hard, and thick piece of plastic came up through the straw and cut the inside of my mouth. Honestly thought it was a piece of glass at first because of the sharpness. Checked the straw itself and the cup. Didn't come from either of those. Every time I come here the girls behind the counter say hello. They are always very nice and take my order as soon as they can. I always get the super fusion acai bowl which is my favorite. It's so delicious. They are open early and I don't really come later than 9am so I don't know if they're open late. The owner comes out and helps sometimes when it's busy and he is very nice. I have a rewards card but have yet to understand how to use it. I swipe it and they say 'thank you' but yeah...I don't know what the card is for. anyway, I feel healthier than when I go to starbucks so there that is. read more

I recently discovered this place and I love the juices & smoothies I've tried so far. Way better than jamba juice. The saff has been nice an always smiling every time I've been in. Seems like they are understaffed though. The store itself is not that great. The layout is weird. The register is all the way on the right side right by the opening to go into the back behind the counter. Than there are two different areas to pick up your drink and they don't call out your name..just the name of your drink...so that can be confusing. It was my first time ordering an I have two small kids. How the hell am I suppose to remember what's the name of the drinks I ordered. After I ordered I felt like I was in the way. They need a better set up and need to clean better. The shelfs where they had the chips displayed were filthy and dusty, dried up smothie that's been there for awhile. Yuck! read more

Slowest service ever. Definitely understaffed. They should have at least 3-4 employees working at a time. One person to work at the cash register. One to juice and make the all juice drinks and two to make the smoothies. We arrived there at 6:49 and didn't leave the place till 7:15. There were four people in front of me and two already had ordered. The person at the register was a girl with braces. She seemed new or just didn't want to be working there at the time. She was very slow ringing people up and was not very energetic or nice. The other girl during the shift was moving as fast as she could but she was the only one making drinks which made things go slowly. All other customers were not happy and a couple left who were behind us. In addition, she didn't ask us if we had rewards and when we remembered ourselves she said it was too late to input it. Something needs to be done to improve the quality of services here. I definitely will not be coming back to this location. I would prefer to go to Jamba Juice at Victoria gardens because at least I know they'll be faster even though there are way more customers. Definitely was a fail visit for them. read more
