During our trip to Seattle, we stopped by Juisala not once but twice for some refreshing juices and ginger shots! We enjoy traveling and eating unique foods while still making healthy choices and exercising. The nice man behind the window warned us about his fresh ginger shots and watched while we took them! He was right! That burn was terrific! The best ginger shots around! The ambiance was chill. We enjoyed walking around with our juices, and the location was cute.

This past week has been beautiful but HOT!!! Im so grateful for Juisala as this team has helped me stay hydrated throughout the last weeks of my pregnancy. My husband really enjoys the strawberry, and I like the mango. The watermelon juice has fresh chunks of watermelon in it, yielding even more hydration I need. One bottle can easily last you about two days depending on how thirsty/hungry you are. The customer service is really pleasant, and the team makes every juice smoothie per order. With hotter days soon approaching I highly recommend visiting Juisala for healthy hydration!

I searched for a smoothie and this gem was just around the corner! This place met all my smoothie standards! Jay was awesome and very accommodating :) 10/10 would recommend

Incredible service and the juices are top notch! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a good quality juice! The Green Queen is my favorite.

Juisala, I will keep it simple. I loved my drink. It was like the Gods themselves made it. The damage does to my pocket. I may have to pull a second mortgage for more Juisala. No kidding, This place is excellent. I have no other choice to give them five stars. This veggie juice is incredible--so much money for something so small but significant. I will come back for more once I pull my second mortgage.

Just found this place and wow do I love it! I'm moving to a different part of Seattle next week and I'm genuinely upset I won't get to come here on a regular basis. It's on the pricier side but it's worth it! We got two green juices that he helped me pick the ingredients kale, spinach, celery, parsley, hint of lemon ginger and apple maybe? And two acai bowls. Note I finished my juice (in the background) on the 10 minute drive home

Katsu is one of the finest fried items known to humankind, and even though eating fried food makes me feel like I've been punched in the stomach recently, I was willing to take a rocket to the gut for some stellar katsu and fries. Daruma has the set up of a no-frills establishment that knows they're going to be churning out orders. The kiosk order system isn't that common in the US because it seems ridiculously unfriendly, but Japan is about efficiency with a focus on the food. They only had two people working here so it was slow, but absolutely worth it. The spicy chicken katsu was incredible. Everything that was on this sandwich had a reason for being there. The cutlet itself was incredibly juicy and crispy. The right amount of sauce was applied so as to not make the sandwich itself soggy (critical on a sandwich with fried elements), and then the cabbage on top gives it a bit of freshness. I'm pretty sure the bread was fine, but that isn't why we're here. It's a vessel for fried food. The fries seem to need a bit of work. I think they may have gotten soggy because they came in a to-go box, but the seasoning was fantastic. They also come with whatever sauce you want, and there is a plethora to choose from. I thoroughly enjoyed the spicy mayo, which I then added to the katsu sando as well. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the Fremont area.

Can't believe it took me this long to write a review because I've been here multiple times…read more This is my go-to when I'm craving a katsu sando specifically. I've had both the regular and the spicy pork katsu sando -- both are really good, but the spicy one is no joke. It's genuinely numbing and by the halfway point everything kind of blends together haha. My one wish is that there was something in between -- the regular has zero kick and the spicy is full send. A medium heat option would be perfect. The fries deserve their own shoutout. Thin, crispy outside, fluffy inside, always fresh. Highly recommend dipping them in the mayo. Their egg salad is also solid if you want something lighter. Ordering is casual -- you order at the kiosk and grab it from counter when it's ready. No frills, but the staff are always friendly. If a katsu sando is what you're after, this is the place.

This particular location was pretty empty at 1:30pm, though it was a rainy Tuesday. The interior is clean and modern. Parking is hard to come by in the Fremont area, but we were able to find parking near the Fremont Troll. We ordered the Jalapeño Business Warm Bowl and the El Sombrero Salad with chicken. Jalapeño Business (4/5): I liked how unique this bowl was. The use of raw chopped jalapeños gives it a fiery kick, while the Tilllamook white cheddar adds a nutty and salty creaminess with a Pacific Northwest flair. The pickled red onions add the acidity, while the black beans, chicken, and jasmine rice provide the body to make this bowl quite filling. The warm chipotle sauce binds it all together with a smoky chipotle flavor -- but in the menu photos the sauce is a small drizzle over the top, while in my bowl the sauce was doused and inundated everywhere like a biblical flood of chipotle sauce. The bowl was still good, but the photos don't match what you get. El Sombrero Salad with chicken (3/5): This one is actually vegetarian so we added chicken for some protein. This one was pretty mid -- the roasted corn and raw chopped jalapeños were nice touches but the romaine didn't seem like the freshest, and the leaves were too cold like straight out the fridge. Overall, I think Evergreens is a decent choice for salads but Sweetgreen is still my gold standard.

Let me start off with how incredible the staff are at this place, it felt like being at your mother's home after a long semester in college, where not only does the food drown your sorrows, but the joy of Meg and Russ makes you walk out feeling refreshed and recovered from whatever life had thrown your way. Russ definitely makes the meanest latte while making muffled grunts, but hey he's a cool guy who will make way for a traveler to feel welcomed. After a long flight in I needed the jolt to make me feel like I was alive like the monster in Frankenstein. If anyone needs any other reason to go, the flapjacks alone are my favorite item. 100/10 would recommend. It was ironic because I don't even like autumn but this redefined my frontal cortex with how explosive the flavor of these are. The last time I was there Meg asked what I wanted and I said "basic breakky with bacon" and she looked at me up and down, almost threatening to kick me out for saying "the B word" and goes "boy the salt alone will kill you, we don't do that here" as she Z snaps me with an Attitude only a mother could provide to check you. . She did have ham, and I went on my merrily Monday through Friday way to cause menacing agendas in the Queen Anne hood. Just as a conclusion, eat here if you want to feel loved and cared for... So I'm sad to see the decline in this establishment. Upon entering I immediately noticed the worn upholstery in the booths. A serious makeover is needed. So trashy. But I get it times are hard. My food arrived on a chipped plate - time to throw it away folks. The counter server was very friendly as normal so that's a definite plus. However the BLT I ordered looked like they threw all the ingredients on the toast with no real prep. The tomato jam was not jam but pieces huge chunks too big to eat. While I'm glad they aren't skimping on the ingredients it was piled so high that it was challenging to eat. I ended up eating it in pieces with my fork and as such lost the tastiness of a combination of the flavors as it quickly became a deconstructed mess. A huge plus - the Seattle Fog was probably the best "London" fog I've ever had !!! Bravo. Not sure I'll come back again this visit. They have so much outdoor seating, on both sides of the cafe, which I really like. Way more than downtown. Food came out super quick too. My go to order has always been the Mr Breakfast plate, it's super hearty and full of great breakfast foods. However, the price has increased exponentially and quality has definitely gone down. I used to pay around $15 for this plate and it included bacon and now it's $17 + an extra $4 to add 2 pieces of bacon. (The bacon is totally worth it though). The potatoes recipe need to be completely refined, or they need to offer a substitution option for them. They are overly soft and they don't have nearly enough seasoning. That was the only thing that remained on my plate when I was done! and the soft boiled egg tasted a little off to me, like it had been sitting for a bit long. Other than that, the Turkish eggs and chopped chicken salad were very fresh and good. Staff were super nice when ordering at the counter, coffees and pastries were good as well. Overall I will come back here, just would like to see some quality changes with the Mr Breakfast as it used to be very good.
