Miso Glazed Steelhead. They were out of avocado so I subbed Brussels sprouts and cucumber! It was even better than usual!

I've ordered here from door dash a few times, and recently came in for pickup to save some $. Sweetgreen has quality ingredients and pairings and I see now that the facility is high quality too. They get orders out fast but also with care. There was an unmistakably fresh ambiance the place radiated with. One of my favorite choices in Capitol Hill!

Cool Sweetgreen location with the full menu and interesting lantern decorations featuring stylish cartoon character designs. Relatively roomy inside and great service too. Check it out in the Capitol Hill neighborhood!

Shroomami Bowl

Love this place! One of my go to places for grabbing quick dinner for work. Service is fast. I usually get the shroomami bowl with added sweet potato and extra miso sesame ginger dressing. This bowl is pretty filling for around $16. Sometimes I add some extra protein in the form of blackened chicken for around $20 total! Give this a try if you are in the neighborhood, game changer for salads. Have also tried the chicken pesto parm which was also solid!

Sweet Green just recently opened in Capitol Hill and it's a hit offering a much needed healthy alternative to the area. Each item is unique and meets a variety of taste palettes and diets. Each team member is pleasant and helpful and the space is open concept, tons of natural light, while being unique and colorful.

I've heard a lot about sweetgreen from coworkers in New York. I was excited to hear that cap hill was getting one! As soon as I walked in I was mesmerized by the chutes of fresh produce. Sweetgreen has some great branding and everything about their store and marketing emanates fresh, ethical, yet casual and friendly. They make it clear it's not just for people who eat salad every day (which is not me). It didn't hit me to consider this franchise a fast food but it definitely is as hot food was ready for pickup within 5 min! Ordered the hot honey chicken bowl and replaced the quinoa with wild rice. It boasts of blackened chicken but I would really go as far as describing it to well cooked seasoned chicken. Not complaining but the visuals compared to the photos were a little off. Nevertheless this bowl is really good!! The chicken was super flavorful, kinda southwest style, and the purple cabbage slaw was cold and crunchy, not too heavy on the cream and evenly dressed. I really liked the crispy onions with the wild rice and the hot honey mustard brought everything together. If you're not a salad person this might be the option for you! It was hearty, tasty and I felt good eating such a balanced meal. I just know I won't be risking any digestive issues compared to other lunch options I might have lol. I would definitely get this again. Also they have a promo code for first time mobile orders so get your first bowl $5 off!

So excited there's a sweetgreen in Capitol Hill now! I had only been to a location in LA, so was excited to see a few locations sprouting up around Seattle. Everything is unexpectedly self service, but ordering is easy and service was super fast, thanks to the "Infinite Kitchen." Inside seating is somewhat limited, mainly because the kitchen/salad maker seems to take up a ton of space. It's entertaining to watch all of the salads being made and mixed as you wait. Salads and bowls were reasonably priced, as the portions are pretty big. With the addition of the bread (which is pretty plain on its own), one salad could easily be split into two meals, imo. Tried the chicken avocado ranch salad which was pretty good! They give you an entire half of an avocado!! It inexplicably had a scoop of white rice in it, so it felt extra filling. Looking forward to trying a more traditional type of salad next time. Even though you aren't ordering from an employee, everyone seemed very welcoming!

Buffalo chicken salad

I whole heartedly agree with the ratings on this location. I popped in because I was coworking with creators across the street and needed a quick to go food situation that wasn't full of grease. All the girlies raved about this place but I was a tad underwhelmed. I love a good Cobb salad but it was really hard for me to narrow down a salad choice this go. I settled on the Buffalo chicken bc it was considered high protein. Im not a fan of kale and this bad boy was loaded with it. I didn't really taste any specific flavors that made it stand out as a Buffalo chicken. It was just wet tasting. I went ahead and ate as much of it as I could. The kiosk are self serve so you put in your own order and the credit card option never registered and they were pretty busy calling out orders but it was a known issue you had to press cash and wait to have staff ring you out. Not really a promising start to finish operation. It's all fairly young staff so the overarching need to give you a heads up lacks. But the salad came out pretty quick just a few front of the house service issues but overall ok. Not my fave salad at all.

Make sure to download their app if you are wanting to rack up points for some free items down the road. Self-service ordering on the tablet. My harvest bowl looked nothing like the image on their website as I think they made it upside down. Kale kale kale was all I saw with a few things in between and an ice cream scooper for the goat cheese. Once you mix it yourself, the taste was fine. Busy area next to the park. When we went, there were 2 groups of people sitting in the dining room eating. Several people picked up their to-go orders.

Kale Caesar (Steak)
Yuri Y.

There was a lot of seating and really fast service, I ordered online but was able to change my kale salad to an arugula salad lol. Honestly, sweet greens does not have the biggest portions, but I think it's definitely something very fast and convenient. Usually I get the sham, but I tried something new with the kale Caesar and I think I found my new favorite!

I ordered a Hummus Crunch salad. I don't know what this is, chicken or beef? I'm vegan.
Iris A.

I was really loving Sweetgreen and was there at least once a week. But then things seemed to go wrong. Last week my usual Hummus Crunch was lacking cucumbers, which is fine because they posted that ahead of time, but then they told me after I'd paid there were no breadcrumbs. So no breadcrumbs and I still paid the full amount. Today I slogged down there in the pouring rain, picked up my Hummus Crunch and left. I got home, opened my bowl and I have no clue what I got. It's loaded with beef or chicken, which I don't eat, it's got carrots and it's absolutely dripping in salad dressing. Plus there's two more containers of dressing and a container of hummus on top. What a mess. I'm super disappointed. I don't have time to go back and the rain is really coming down. There went $15 down the drain. I will never go back to this place again and don't recommend it.

Robot bad... Robot took 20 minutes to make salad that human would've taken 4 minutes to make... Sweetgreen makes me feel afraid to bear children into a world like this

Later order time isn't honored

Compared to other sweet green locations, the food looks spat into the bowl for some reason. Also, later order time is not honored. It wasn't busy for a Sunday morning but all that along with missing sweet potatoes makes it seem unnecessarily rushed. The food doesn't come out hot as is, so please look into the faulty timing. Aside from that, it's still a quick, healthy and tasty option that is very customizable. It's also nice to have the option to order on multiple screens at the counter and have it out in ~5min.

No chicken and no apples. Two strikes and you're out.

Ordering kiosks inside, not a lot of in person contact. (Perfect for some) The menu options are great. They have a "create your own" plate option, which I got. I ordered 1/2 teriyaki chicken and 1/2 sesame chicken, with brown rice. The meal was $14. If you ask me, that is a hell of a deal! The portion size was pretty hearty. Wait time said 14 minutes, but it was only around 10 minutes. The teriyaki was my fave of the 2 chicken entrees. The meat was thick, juicy and flavorful. (No gross fatty pieces!) The sesame was good too, but next time I would get a full order of the teriyaki alone. In, out, delicious food, good portion size and a decent price! What more could you ask for!!?

My husband, who prides himself as being a Korean who can handle a high spice level was SWEATING eating the spicy chicken. Granted, the menu does warn that it's very spicy, but he was not expecting this level of heat. He was only able to get through about half the meal and commented that he was glad he didn't have work the next day. (If you know, you know.) I'm not sure if this was just an exceptionally spicy batch, or if it's normally this spicy, but be warned! They're not messing around when it comes to the heat. The edamame was also just so-so. It's a bummer that out of the two times we've come here, we've only enjoyed 1 out of their 4 sides. Combining our first and second experience, I think this is a solid 4-star spot. Good for a takeout meal, if you order the right thing.

Mendocino is a cool little artsy town (actually unincorporated area) in coastal Northern California and I am just not into the name being associated with a sandwich place. But I ate here twice during the Northwest Flower and Garden Show in February, and doggone, if I didn't turn into a Mendocino Farms fan. First, if you're ordering at lunch, I highly recommend ordering online and then doing a pickup. Thanks to the Yelpers that gave me this pro tip in their reviews! My hubs and I did this twice and we only had to wait 5 minutes or so for our orders while the people who ordered at the counter had to wait A LOT longer. I liked everything I ate here on both days and so did my hubs. The nice and efficient sandwich maker fellow here is really good at his job! We've had the Farm Club, Turkey Avo Salsa Verde, and the Build Your Own. We both like how you can choose what bread you want, whether you want it toasted, pressed like a panini, or regular. You can adjust your toppings. For someone with a few food allergies like me, this is super helpful. We ate our sandwiches there as the place has good seating, is clean and airy, and the sandwiches are really tasty when they're freshly toasted or pressed. Very satisfying and all the ingredients looked and tasted like QUALITY. Next time I need a delicious lunch in downtown Seattle, I will be ordering again from Mendocino Farms.

Highly recommend ordering online beforehand because they make each order fresh which can take a while, especially at peak lunch time.

I stopped by on a weekend and tried the crab roll, and wow--it was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and packed with delicious crab. The buttery brioche bread deserves its own shoutout because it perfectly complemented the filling without overpowering it. We also ordered the salt and pepper fries, which are actually more like thick-cut wedges. They were super crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned just right. Honestly, they were the perfect side. Beyond the food, the vibe is really cool and laid-back, making it a great spot to hang out and enjoy some seriously good seafood. Between the fresh crab roll, amazing brioche bread, crispy fries, and fun atmosphere, I can definitely see why this place stays busy. Pro tip: arrive early and thank me later!

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile and I am so glad I finally did! We ordered a few things to share and every single dish was delicious! Shrimp toast: this was a great appetizer to share! Very crispy and the sauces on the side gave it a more complex flavor! It came with a sweet mayo and chili sauce. The chili sauce is definitely spicy if you can't handle spice so beware on how much you're using if that's the case. I also really enjoyed the slaw that came with it, it was very refreshing and it had a bit of sweet mayo flavor to it, I think it's the same as the dipping sauce but I could be wrong! Fried oysters: these were delicious! I think fried oysters can be a hit or miss for me, sometimes the interior can feel too dry and feel kinda of mushy-like, like I'm eating bread rather than seafood. But this had great texture on the inside while being crispy on the outside! The sauce on the side tasted like a pepper aioli which gave the oyster a nice tang *the fried dishes were great but after having a few, it definitely felt heavy, so this would be something I share with someone else vs eating it on my own Smoked salmon belly dip: I really enjoyed this! It was creamy and had chunks of salmon in it. It wasn't too dense or thick so it was perfect for scooping onto the kettle chips. The kettle chips were lightly salted so it was the perfect combo with the dip. Clam chowder: wow I absolutely loved this! This is different than any other chowder I've had. While I love a white creamy chowder from your typical seafood places, the base being a fish stock definitely brought out the seafood flavor vs a white chowder feeling like a cream base. This chowder still felt creamy and rich without the seafood flavor being overpowered. Rockfish bowl: the crab rolls were sold out by the time we made it to the register so we opted for this instead and I am so glad that we did. I didn't really expect this to blow me away but this was such a refreshing dish that balanced out the fried dishes we got. It used viet flavors that you may typically find in a banh mi which made it refreshing and had great texture from all the different fresh ingredients and fried garlic. I also loved how the fish came in patty form mixed with pork, it was flavorful and moist. I love any type of fish tofu/patty, I think it really makes fish flavorful when it sometimes can have a really mild flavor. I'll definitely be back to try the crab rolls!

The biggest issue, though, is the lack of customer service. It's easily some of the worst I have experienced. The employees come across as completely uninterested and disengaged. I don't know if they are overworked or just don't care, but the service is incredibly slow and inattentive. I placed an online pickup order and specifically requested the dressing on the side. When I got my order, there was no dressing cup inside. I went up to ask whether it had been mixed in or simply forgotten. The person at the counter literally shrugged and walked away without answering. I had to double-check that I wasn't imagining it. She just walked off without giving a response. I then asked another employee who came up to the counter. He was busy on his phone and chatting with a friend waiting nearby, and I couldn't get a proper response there either. At that point, we just left with our order, frustrated and disappointed. Honestly, I would much rather go to Mendocino Farms just a block away.
