She was able to take my very dark hair (almost black) and lighten it without bleach, which is not easy. The main lady assured me that it would be beautiful and showed me some pictures. She even made time for me as a walk-in! One of the worst haircut experience I have had. The lady who I was supposed to get my hair cut with, didn't do it, so they handed me down to a guy who had no clue what he was doing. I specifically asked for someone who knew how to cut a guys hair when it was long, he didn't, and it was obvious. 3-5 min in the chair w dry hair he trimmed it, andathen saidswe were done, charged me 45 bucks for a 3 dollar haircut. His sign said I fix 7 dollar haircuts. His hair cut wasn't wouldn't have been worth the 7 dollars. I am baffeled by the lack of care. It is absolutely ridiculous and nothing short of an offense and atrocity to people who actually take their job as hair stylist seriously. Do not go here! read more

After recently moving from Denver I was desperate to find a new hair salon. I saw the amazing reviews on Yelp and decided to give this salon a shot. I am not picky with my hair and I am overly trusting. Claudia was the one who cut my hair. She sat me down and immediately said, "your hair looks disgusting. That color is gross." Hmmmm...great first impressions. My feelings were hurt but I pretended like her harsh remarks didn't bother me. I was washed and they put toner in my hair. The girl puffing the toner in almost accidentally put in another persons hair dye. Luckily her coworker saw the mistake. As I was getting my hair washed an angry customer came through the door to complain. The lady washing my hair stopped mid-shampoo and left me sitting for a solid 10 minutes. She then came back to complain about how this lady shouldn't have been complaining, etc. I heard Claudia and the assistant complain about so many customers. It made me feel uneasy. Claudia proceeded to ask me if I had any pictures. I told her I was indecisive and that I trusted her. She showed me a picture of a cute cut that was shoulder length. I agreed. Throughout the haircut she was answering her Bluetooth. She wasn't paying attention to my cut. She has other clients walk in that she decided to color and highlight while I sat in the chair. My appointment was at 3:30 and I did not leave until 5:15. I had toner and a haircut. A service that should last an hour at the most. Claudia cut off so much of my hair. It is definitely not shoulder length like the picture she showed me. I can't figure out how to style it because the cut does not make sense. I have NEVER cried over a haircut but this was the first cut I cried over. I will never go back and support a salon like this. read more

Worst in business! I did my permanent hair straightening like two months back. It took 5 hrs and charged me over $400. After first wash hair went back to 50% curly again and after two weeks it looked exactly like how it was before. In short I wasted my time and money for their joke. I really like this salon. Being the first time customer here I am definitely coming back for my next session. I heard about through yelp and looked at their reviews and photos from other people. I was hesitant at first because I was not sure what to expect on my first visit. I went ahead and took a chance. I wanted a hair cut and ombre. My hair was naturally black and super long. I wanted to have a golden ombre and shoulder length layered hair. The salon was really nice inside. The wallpaper and chandelier was really pretty. I met the owner Claudia. She was nice. She definitely knows her stuff. Sandy cut my hair and shes super nice. Listens to what you want done. I was there about 4hrs!! Didnt expect to be there that long but the result at the end was worth it. I love the golden highlights and one customer who came in to get something similar to my hair was eyeballing my hair because she wanted the same thing. Men and women alike, if you'd ask them, care a lot about their hair. Often times, our hair can be out most defining feature. It was Jill Scott who describes hair as "an accruement. "Hair is jewelry", she says "it's an accessory". Needless to say I try to take to upmost care for my hair. So when it comes to salon quality a certain "ideal" is expected: A price that reflects the service provided, good overall service, a stylist that understands the customer's needs and a comfortable atmosphere. A few months ago I had the distinct pleasure to have my hair cut by the stylists at the Juldan Salon in Plano. Like with most things I spend my money on, I did research. The reviews for the salon were over all good so I gave it a try. I got my hair cut. Needless to say, I was disappointed. Firstly, the stylists were un-willing to listen to the instructions of the customers. When a customer asked for a specific cut and style, the stylist argued back. After several minutes of discussion, the stylist finally did what the customer asked. The outcome was basically the same raggedy cut the customer had before. The expensive dye used washed out in two days. The hair cut was lackluster and the price that was paid did not reflect the quality of service. Now, I don't mind paying for a good hair cut but my hard earned money would be better spent at a more "ideal" salon. On top of everything the atmosphere of the salon was uncomfortable and awkward. Although the salon itself was beautiful the atmosphere was not what you'd expect from a four star rated salon. The lack of conversation and the chips of the shoulders of all the stylists made the salon cold and weird. Ivana Trump said "gorgeous hair is the best revenge". People all over the country want gorgeous hair. Be it for revenge or just marking bad hair day off your list for a few more months. The stylists hold our trust in their hands when they cut our hair, and to let us down in a way that damages how we see ourselves is unacceptable. read more

I've been going to Jordan at Juldan Salon for about 3 years now! She's colored my hair red, balayage, ombré, and brown. I have thick, Mexican hair and she always texturizes is just right to where it is so easy to style!! Where otherwise it would take FOREVER. My hair is also FRIZZY so she recommended the Brazilian Blowout, which I decided to try.. IT IS LIFE CHANGING. I wouldn't even brush or style my hair - it was so smooth and relaxed. I'm in college so can't afford to get it every 3-4 months but totally would if I could!!!! Jordan is very knowledgable and trendy and always gives me what I want. I used to DREAD going to the salon for a cut because I am SO PICKY and would cry when I got home because I wouldn't like my hair. Now every time I have an appt, I'm excited because I know she's going to give me exactly what I ask for.
