Loved the ambiance however the food was meh. Had chicken gizzard which had old frozen chicken smell to it and the fish egg soup?() tasted too much like msg.soup. staff were super quick and nice. FYI They dont have any draft beer even though its in their website

Cute spot to come for some drinks and food! I love that there were so many booth for us to sit. It felt very private which I love. I also loved that the music was not so loud like some other pocha places. You can actually have a conversation here! We had the beef brisket with chives. This was delicious however the beef was definitely not brisket but some thinly sliced beef that was more like your regular bulgogi. This didn't bother us tho because it was really delicious We also ordered the fiery chicken and cheese and thought this was delicious as well. Very cheesy and the chicken had a nice spicy flavor. Service was good even though there was only one waitress tending to all the tables. I just wished they have some beer on tap. Only bottles for now Overall a solid spot and definitely recommend!

My second time here and came here for my friend's birthday on a Friday around 6:30pm. There was no line and got seated by one of the waiters. Parking is available in the building. Ended up ordering the army stew which was really good and wasn't too spicy, scallion chicken, egg omelette and dried squid and some sort of fish fillet jerky. And two rounds of the soju and 3 beer combo. Everything was delicious, especially the scallion chicken which came with a tasty sauce (two types of sauces mixed in). Only negatives: Place was kinda hot but they blasted the AC (bathroom was freezing) and the seating was uncomfortable for me which was like a bench with short back support but had built in cushions. Staff shortage? I would def come here again and would recommend anyone that wants that Pocha vibe.

5/5 ambiance. Perfect for pocha! Such cute lightings inside and sectioned off very well so thst you have privacy! 5/5 food. For a pocha, we thought it was pretty decent!! They don't really have cocktails but mostly alcohol by the bottle. The alcohol is perfect temperature, nice and cool! 5/5 service. There is a button by the wall to call the waiter if you need anything. They are really nice and fast to meet your needs!

Came in on a Friday evening with family around 5pm. There is a small garage below the restaurant, so parking was not a problem at all. There is a main dining area, but we were seated in a private room since our party was slightly larger than what could be accommodated in the main room. Both our servers were attentive and we did not wait long when we asked for anything we needed (utensils, napkins, drink refills, etc.). I would come back and order absolutely everything we ordered again! We ordered the Fried Dumplings, Chives Pancake, Potato Pancake, Corn Cheese, Beef Brisket w. Chives, Honey Butter Chicken, Steamed Pork, Grilled Pork Galbi, Spicy Rice Cakes w. Noodles, Seafood Ramen, and Pork Cutlet. It all tasted amazing, but if I had to choose just ONE thing that was my favorite, the Pork Cutlet was the winner. I'm a fan of foods with crunch and the sauce this dish came with just sent it over the top. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back again!

I came by here on a Friday night just to grab a quick bite with my friends before heading back home -- more so for the general experience and to compare to it the other pochas that we've tried. I LOVED how aesthetic it was!! The lights were so beautiful and I liked how well each booth was decorated. As it was a Friday night, it was pretty packed with people but the booths separated us away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the pocha. I also appreciated that they had a button to push for help if we ever needed to get the attention of the waiter. We ended up only trying the vegetarian dishes to accommodate for our friend so that we could share the food. The portions were very large and enough for the 4 of us! Overall, we had a pretty good experience. I would definitely come back to try their meat dishes out!!

12.03.2022 10/10 Rice balls They're basically kimbap in a ball with a lot more rice; absolutely delicious! I don't see it on their online menu, but if you can order it in the restaurant. I believe these are meat-free, but don't quote me on it! We also ordered the beef brisket with chives and the spicy jokbal (chicken feet)! They were both really good. It was my first time trying korean spicy jokbal; I was pleasantly surprised! The place has strong pocha vibes, the restaurant was packed by 10pm! Waiters were really friendly :) Would highly recommend!

The food was incredibly authentic. It felt like I was eating at a dive in Korea. Highly recommend.

Oh man, i like this pocha! There are two floors of seating here so it's pretty big. The downstairs was a little cold though. Very pocha feel When they gave me the menu and it was korean only, i expected only good korean food hah. I'm sure they have english menus upon request. The options are pretty ample and hits all the major pocha dishes. They also have the japaness tako wasabi! I was dying to try cheese buldak/chicken forever. I suck with spicy stuff but the chicken was flavorful enough for me to want to deal with the spiciness hah. I'd recc this spot and would come back again :) Prob the top 2 fave pocha spots so far in the fort lee/ridgefield/pal park area. They have pretty much no veggie dishes here btw. Not that anyone would really look for this at a pocha spot but was an observation.

This is a review for their karaoke section. I had made a reservation a week in advance and secured the largest room. This is waaay bigger than anything you'll get in Ktown (and less of a hassle to get to). It's $5 pp/hr if you have four or more people. A few complaints though. The song book and controller were pretty much all in Korean. While there were some classic songs available, they really need to update the English section. They said the controller and book were being used in a different room and they only had one copy. If you are not in a Korean group, definitely reserve it in advance. It was a bit hard to navigate but they finally explained it to us. Additionally there's a service bell to ring to place orders and drinks. Ours unfortunately was broken so we had to keep walking out to the waitstaff. Overall it was a great experience, and I'm definitely coming back. The restaurant is amazing, but the karaoke section definitely needs a more TLC.

Cute pocha in Fort Lee! It's kind of on the inside of a small strip mall area and the aesthetic is very loungey. The service is good and they have a button to call for the waiter too. I wish their menu was a little bit more extensive but other than that I enjoyed the food, decor, and drinks!

Fiery cheesy chicken (Chicken Buldok?). Asked for it less spicy

We happened to come here by chance when Soup Dumpling Plus had too long of a wait. It was a beautiful surprise. Everything from the food to the decor was amazing. The booths and ambiance make you feel like you're really in Korea or Japan. The honey butter wings, scallion pancake, galbi, and fiery chicken with cheese dish. The wings were chewy on the inside yet crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked. I asked for the fiery chicken less spicy and they were able to accommodate. It was the perfect amount of spice and very flavorful. The galbi was super tender. The scallion pancake was also delicious. I typically like a crispier scallion pancake but this one had more of a bouncy chewy texture which was surprisingly good. Definitely will be coming back.

We had ordered Guacamole which tasted kind of bland and was just average. Drinks were pretty good though. My main issue was how they have setup their Hookah. Very limited Flavors to begin with and except for one, all other flavors were not so great. On top of that, they charge $10 extra to replace the Coals. $10 for COALS..?!?!? I have been to so many Hookah Lounges and this was the 1st we were ever charged for getting the coals changed. That is just atrocious. Switching the complete bowl with new flavor was $20, so obviously we ended up opting for that eventhough the 1st bowl/flavour was still good and just needed new coals.

The vibes here are excellent - the space is beautifully decorated, clean, and the outdoor patio is gorgeous, especially in the summertime. The cocktails are all extremely creative and delicious (although I do think a little on the weak side). The last time I was here was for a birthday dinner. We were a large party of 8 women, and all the staff was very accommodating towards us. The food/drinks came out quickly, and they even gave my friend a big ol' birthday celebration complete with a firework candle and a light-up sign. The food is pretty decent - Spanish and Hispanic mostly, with a Caribbean flair. Standouts were the coconut shrimp (which came on a clothes hanger), the steak and tostones, and the ropa vieja. The only real downside of Don Coqui is the price of everything. The bill (with a 20% tip added for a large party) was just shy of 600 dollars, and this was for a table of appetizers and cocktails. Also, the valet parking for 15 dollars is wild, especially when there is a free lot available mere steps away. if you're feeling a little bougie, this is a great spot to grab a drink and get some great photos!

Whether one's in the mood for a cozy family dinner or a casual get-together with friends. Sitting on the banks of the Hudson River in Edgewater, my partner, our friends, and I decided on a celebratory dinner at the Haven Waterfront Restaurant & Bar. A reservation was easily made via OpenTable. Upon arrival as first-timers, we were greeted by the host and got a table immediately by the window inside their floor-to-ceiling dining room, evoking a relaxed yet upscale vibe. Their menu specializes in American/Mediterranean cuisine influenced by seafood, steakhouse, and pasta. For appetizers, we decided on Short Rib Crostini, Kumamoto Oysters, and Yellowin Ahi Tuna Tacos. Our main consisted of Pan-Seared Chilean Sea Bass, 7 oz Prime Cut Filet Mignon, Bangkok Roasted Duck Breast, Lenny's Lobster Pasta, Crispy Lyonnaise Potatoes, and French Butter Asparagus. We even saved room for dessert and got the Bailey's Crème Brûlée and Assorted Dessert Tasting for two. We washed them down with I Dream of Lychees Martini, Berry White Spritz, and Haven Espresso. Complimentary bread with softened butter started our meal. The food is presented like art, and the portions varied depending on what one ordered. It's a little pricey but definitely worth it and fair considering the quality. Our server, Juan, was friendly, accommodating, and took the time to answer all of our questions, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Unfortunately, the service and food didn't live up to the setting for us. Our waiter, Danny, seemed to have an attitude from the moment we arrived. He hardly checked on our table, and after overhearing his conversations with other tables, it was clear that the energy and attentiveness he gave them felt different from what we received. Since gratuity is automatically included for larger parties, it made the experience even more disappointing. As for the food, several dishes lacked seasoning, including the lobster mac & cheese, salmon, braised short rib, short rib ragu, and lobster croquettes. Our group spent almost $1,400, so unfortunately, we expected more from both the food and service. The views and ambiance are lovely, but based on our experience, I wouldn't return.

I ordered the chicken wings. Something went seriously FUBAR. Had they not tasted like thawed roadkill from the Jersey Turnpike heated up by Satan himself, I'd have guessed they were still chasing the chicken around out back, because 25 minutes is way too long to wait for wings. As for the "buffalo sauce," maybe they ran out, because what arrived looked like wings rolled across someone else's plate. Dry, sad, and flavorless. I didn't even finish them... something inside looked discolored and tasted a bit fishy. My stomach immediately said, "Nope." The beer list? Fairly decent on paper. But the beer itself wasn't cold enough -- more like slightly chilled tap water than the crisp pint you actually want. In short: swill unfit for pigs, rescued only by a pleasant bartender. Two stars.
