The owner was absolutely amazing--so friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He took the time to explain his techniques and even showed me how he cuts the fresh pasta right there in the shop, depending on whatever style you want. I was especially impressed with his gluten-free pasta. I have family members who are gluten-free--or try to eat gluten-free--so finding a place that actually takes the time to explain their gluten-free options was a huge plus for me. Of course, I ended up buying way too much stuff , including some of his prepared meals from the freezer. I tried the chicken cacciatore, and WOW. Even though it came frozen, once I baked it, it tasted like something I had just made fresh at home. The chicken was delicious and that sauce was ON POINT! And then, as if I hadn't already bought enough, he sent me home with a couple of samples of his fresh cannolis. You really can't go wrong with that! Such a great little find. Fresh pasta, great food, and an owner who clearly takes pride in what he does. I'll definitely be back!

They also host awesome pasta-making classes and pastry-making classes too! Everyone here is so friendly. I recently came here to order fresh pasta for a luncheon I was hosting. Adam listened to how many guests I was having, what their preferences generally were, and how many courses I wanted to have, and he helped me pick the perfect things for the party. He suggested and I went with a pound of fresh fettucine made that morning--it was a colossal hit! We also used fresh vodka sauce that he made at the store, and we took some gluten free ravioli and frozen goods for later. It's kind of rare to find pasta houses like this where you can plan basically any Italian meal. Don't miss it!

If you're in a pinch and would like to quickly eat some type of pasta that isn't fancy for takeout, this is the place to go to as there's no one really serving you. I walked inside, and there was no one to greet me. I think there's only one person working here who does everything. Once the person came out with someone's order, he explained everything to me, on how to figure out what to order and etc. I didn't really understand what he was saying, but I tried my best and repeated things back to him if there was a question. I followed the photos and what was written on the black menu by the wall. I ordered the small mama's bolognese. It is Reginette with marinara sauce with meat inside and has roasted garlic and parmesan. The employee asked me what size and if I wanted everything, or if I should alter anything. All in all, I'm not sure I'll be going back as the food didn't stand out to me.

Which disappointed me. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs, penne à la vodka with chicken, fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and mozzarella sticks. The best out of all of them was the mozzarella stick sticks. The service was OK. The place is small and there's only like four benches to sit. I did notice there was a sign that said there is more seating at Elio's. I do not really recommend this restaurant for its pasta if you're looking for something super savory. But if you're looking for something fast and filling then maybe you could give it a shot.
