Had the Chicken Milanese which was absolutely delicious! Super juicy chicken with a yummy crunchy topping. Enjoyed the mocha noir, it was like an espresso martini but one of the best Ive ever had. One thing I noticed was one cook working in the back on a super busy night, I think it was the chef, but she was absolutely killing it!!! Super fast and efficient, clean and simply fun to watch! What an absolute gem of a find to kick off a wine country morning! Sometimes early morning vibes in wine country can feel a little stiff or sleepy, but walking into Enoteca completely reset the bar. The hospitality here matches the warmth of the central coast perfectly. The staff went above and beyond to make me (a solo diner) feel welcome right out of the gate. Jim behind the bar is a master of his craft, he shook up a spectacular Bloody Mary with a perfectly executed salted rim that brought the perfect amount of lingering heat & spice. It absolutely delivered that ideal morning energy! My waitress, Edith, was a delight: attentive, genuinely friendly, and pacing the meal beautifully. As for the food? Outstanding. The Avocado Toast is an elevated masterpiece. The goat cheese was incredibly lush and super creamy (none of that chalky, hard texture you sometimes get), layered perfectly with vibrant pickled red onions, tomatoes, and beautifully fluffy scrambled eggs over a bed of fresh greens. ( I hit it with a dash of pepper and hot sauce) The real star of the show, though, was the side of pork sausage hands down my favorite part of the entire meal. It was incredibly savory and juicy. Paired with a bowl of exceptionally fresh, sweet fruit to balance it all out, it was the ultimate gourmet fuel ahead of a day of drinking. So we don't go out very often and we were very excited to be here. If I had booked the reservation myself, I would have asked the price of the prefix menu, so we were quite shocked to see it at $100 a person. We had a male server. I'm not sure if he was also the bartender or not but he took an incredibly long time for us. He'd take our first order and wouldn't return with food until 30 minutes later, and that's how it was all night. I don't really remember him checking on us but maybe 3 times the whole night. From start to finish we were there almost 2 1/2 hours. We had a few complaints, things that never should have happened... but the food was really good. But for $100 a person it was kind of a slap in the face. Absolutely ridiculous! This place is extremely short staffed. It doesn't make for a relaxing evening when you see the lack of staff running around with their heads cut off. read more

While staying at the Bellasera Hotel, we grabbed a night cap after Christmas Dinner at my grandparents. The restaurant is a modest size with a contemporary ambiance. The high top bar was well stocked with different wine, beer and liquor options...and had an espresso machine for Espresso Martinis or Affogato dessert. The bartender was friendly and engaged in conversation. We were surprised that the restaurant was packed with only tourists and the menu was a 4 course chef's menu and we'll priced at $100 food or $120 food + wine pairing. My husband and I ordered a cocktail each - a seasonal CamPeari (Milk washed Campari, Domaine De Canton, Pear Brandy, Lime Juice, Vanilla Bourbon Ginger Simple Syrup, garnished with Campari Glass Candied Pear) and a Aegean Negroni (Mezcal, Antica Carpano, Campari, blood orange, orange twist). I met friends for dinner here last night, inside the Bellasera Hotel. Parking in the hotel lot (as long as you don't stay overnight) is complimentary. Pass through the lobby to the bar & restaurant. I saw a happy hour sign for 5-6pm Mon - Fri when I went in (but it was gone when I came out or would have gotten a photo). At 6:00 on Saturday the bar and restaurant were nearly empty. The bartender was engaged in a discussion with my friend and it sounded like he knew a lot about wine. Good to know, considering the name of the restaurant is all about wine. It turned out the bartender is also a winemaker. Cool! I enjoyed my glass of sparkling Grenache Blanc ($13), served in a flute. The velour-covered bar stools had a small back and were comfortable. The room itself has recently been redesigned. My friends were disappointed that the fireplace is gone. After our drinks at the bar, we moved to a very large booth that could seat 6 people. Not complaining, it was luxurious and good to know larger groups aren't limited in their seating options here. Our server was so sweet. She made us feel very welcome and appreciated. We started with a Caesar salad (which the server offered to split; optional white anchovies which were absolute heaven). $16. Also the arancini (fried rice balls with red pepper and bocconcini- a type of fresh mozzarella) with an herbed aioli. $16 for four. My favorite item of the meal. The Moroccan carrots ($12) side was a small portion of roasted (steamed?) petite rainbow carrots served on a bed of what was described as yogurt but tasted like tartar sauce. Dusted with crushed pistachios and drizzled with a pomegranate reduction, it had potential but missed the mark. The Enoteca Burger ($26) had feta, tzatziki sauce, roast sliced tomato, thinly sliced red onion (the perfect amount and prepped well), and very fresh little gem lettuce. The meat was tasty- described as a mix of short rib and brisket, and it all held together well on the bun. It was small (about 4 inches across) but cooked just as I'd asked to medium. Served with tasty, hot fries (but no aioli or other condiment). One of my friends ordered the Herb Crusted Filet Mignon ($52), which came with a delicious mushroom demi-glace. I'd describe it as closer to an au jus but the flavor was very good. The filet itself was described as an 8 oz cut (not sure if it was quite 8oz). There was not currently a bread service but we were offered toasted, buttered sourdough slices, which were good. Much of the wine by the bottle list is noted as "in arrivo" (arriving soon). The wine by the glass list was local and covered this region's varietals well. I'd like to come back for happy hour sometime and, according to our server, the chef is working on a new menu so I'd give that a try. Perhaps this is just a time of transition. Came here on Valenties. The preset menu was not the best, the restaurant was short staffed and we had a bartendeder who was bartending while also waiting tables. You make a preset menu to make it easy on the kitchen but the 4 course meal took over two hours. Lamb was terrible. The lobster bisque was good. Dropped $350 and it was a dinner maybe worth $150. Terrible experience and the manager should be ashamed of their staffing levels. read more

I had a really wonderful stay at the Bellasera Hotel in Paso Robles. The property is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, and the service I received over two nights was consistently excellent. The front desk staff was warm and helpful, and the food coming out of the kitchen was truly impressive. Breakfast service in particular was great -- the young woman serving that morning was bubbly, kind, and really went out of her way to take care of guests. However, I did notice something that concerned me, and I feel it's important to mention because this is such a lovely establishment with a lot of potential. The server at breakfast mentioned she was 19, yet she was behind the bar pouring drinks from pre-mixed containers that she said contained alcohol. She shared that her manager told her this was allowed because the mixes were "pre-made," but if they contain spirits, that still means a minor is serving alcohol -- which is illegal in California. What made it more unsettling was that there didn't seem to be an adult bartender or manager present during that time, and the manager later walked in around 10 a.m. as if everything was normal. I'm only mentioning this because I genuinely enjoyed my stay, and I would hate to see such a great hotel and restaurant suffer consequences over something that can be easily fixed with proper training and oversight. The staff, the environment, and the overall experience were truly wonderful -- I just hope management takes this concern seriously, because the place really is too nice to risk issues like that :( read more

Service was a 10! Great young gal with tons of personality plus! She had to put up with one challenging guest in our party! Was so gracious and kind and funny! Food not so great! The menu is lacking and they don't have any of the old favorites we loved before they did such a huge remodel! Also no bread service anymore at all! If it ain't broke DONT FIX IT! don't forget about the locals that have always supported you! Ambiance not great either because whatever they did in this new remodel they made the acoustics in their unbearable to even have a conversation. At your own table but somehow you can easily hear the next table over and their loud chatter!? Well we won't be back as locals sadly and it truly used to be our favorite hang out ! Darn! It's getting more difficult in Paso to have a decent locals hang out. Try and go back to some of what did work for you guys! Wishing it was the old Enoteca ! Did small plates and a bottle of wine. The Opolo Mountain Zinfandel was excellent. We had the steak and blue cheese crustini along with their potatas bravas both of which were excellent. The roasted potatoes were a mixture of different fingerings as well as sweet potatoes. Golden crunchy on the outside, creamy on the inside. The garlic aioli​ and brava sauce complimented and brought out the flavors. Then we had the Fritti Mixto, which in addition to the breaded and fried calamari, also included breaded and fried scallions, mushroom, shrimp, and onion slices. Couldn't have been better. read more

My husband and I read enough Yelp reviews to expect a non-hotel chain high-quality dinner experience, and we were wowed by the food and cocktails. I wanted to try something new, so I ordered a ginger beer cranberry rosemary vodka concoction, which was quite delicious. My husband's old fashioned taster was a deal, 3 cocktails for the price of two, plus it was served on a fun taster tray. His favorite was the Cuban Old Fashioned, made with 10 year old rum. My annoying onion allergy removed the tasty sounding Brussel sprouts off my choices, but the couscous was very flavorful, and their mashed potatoes were as good as it gets. My husband raved about his lambchops. Service and ambiance were great while the bar was quite beautiful. We will definitely be back because we also thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Bellaserra Hotel, a great location for wine tasting or shopping. read more

First time eating at Enoteca. Had heard great reviews so expectations were high. We were sorely disappointed. We had reservations and arrived about 15minutes early. We were seated at a corner table which was great and we could view the entire room. However the noise level was exceptionally loud. Our server did double duty as bartender/server. She was so busy we had to wait for her to take our drink & dinner order. About 20minutes later we ordered dinner. A second server brought our appetizers. Second course, my husband received his soup but I had to stop another server and request my salad. A third server brought our third course. The braised short ribs were awful! Mine were very fatty. My husband was underwhelmed. The desert was the best part of the meal. We spent 2 1/2 hours and $300. The entire experience was completely disappointing. read more

My wife and I were staying at La Bellasera Hotel and decided to try Enoteca. Good decision! The ambiance is casual but nice. The service was wonderful. Very personal, attentive and helpful. The food was superb. I had the small plate marinated lamb ribs (3) on a bed of roasted quinoa and couscous. I also had the baby romaine ceasar salad. Great house made dressing and anchovy fillers. Everthing was delicious! Well prepared and presented. I also enjoyed the Old Fashioned taster trio. House specialty Old Fashioneds lined up for your tasting pleasure...and it was! First time at Enoteca for my husband and myself and it did not disappoint. We couldn't make reservations as it was already full since it was NYE. We ended up getting lucky with seating at the bar that still offered full menu dining. Since we were staying at the Bellasera hotel we thought we would give this place a try. First off, our waitress was amazing. She smiled the entire time and knew the menu very well. She also made amazing drinks. The atmosphere was fancy and dressy with soft played music in the background. The lighting was softer and dim as well. Perfect for a date night. For starters we started off with calamari, lobster bisque soup, and warm soft bread. My husband ordered their burger and I ordered the pork chop. By far the best pork chop I have ever eaten. The waitress recommended I order it medium done. (Didn't even know that was a thing with pork chops) I was a little nervous about it coming back not the way I'd like but wow it was amazing. Very tender and juicy with great flavor! I didn't even get to eat my mashed potatoes or broccolini because the size of the pork chop was so big plus the appetizers I had already eaten. There was no way I could eat anything else after that chop. My husband was definitely in love with his burger and caramelized chalets that the burger offered. For the quality of food and amount of food I didn't think the price was bad. We would definitely come back for dinner here. read more

We decided to go back to this restaurant once we heard it was renovated. There was only one Waiter and one hostess who was also a Bartender. Service was slow but waiter was very nice. Food was just OK, we ordered a Chicken Milanese and was served a piece of roast chicken breast on the bone. I am no chef but I do cook a lot, Chicken Milanese is a flatten piece is chicken breast coated in bread crumbs and pan fried. Will not be going back there again. read more

I brought my wife here for our 25th wedding anniversary dinner while we were staying at La Bellasera. I thought since it's in the hotel, it would be nice just to come down and eat without worrying about driving anywhere. Positives: We were seated right away, as I had made reservations in advance. Our waitress was very nice, knew the menu & made suggestions for us, and was very attentive. I went with the chicken and the wife had the pork chops. Both were excellent. We each had a cup of their split pea. Best we've had in a long time. For dessert, my wife had the creme brulee cheese cake, which was comped for our anniversary. Everything was very good. Negatives: Our table was right next to another couple. (Who seemed not so happy to be there ) So that was a little uncomfortable. No partition of any kind. They could use a few more booths, or at least put up some type of dividers. It looked like there was only 1 semi private booth. For looking as being somewhat upscale on their website, there is no dress code for dinner. My wife and I had dressed up, and we're looking good, if i do say so myself. However, others were wearing shorts and t-shirts. Again, feeling a little uncomfortable, like we were over dressed. (I mean, if you're sitting at the bar, then by all means, go casual.) And finally, I thought they'd do a little more for us, considering the occasion. Just like when I made the hotel reservation, I made sure to note the reason for our visit. Hubby and I cam here for a date night in June. Didn't know what to expect with it being in a hotel. Pros: the food. We ordered a steak and the salmon special. The hubby is a said it was one of the best cuts he'd had in years. My salmon was cooked to perfection and the pesto mash was creamy & delicious. Our cocktails were also perfect. And our server was super friendly. Cons: The bar stools suck. We enjoyed a pre-meal cocktail at the bar. The center of the seats bogged down so much I could barely sit up. We went to meet friends at Enoteca for dinner to celebrate a birthday. To our surprise the restaurant was participating in the SLO county January restaurant month. Their 3 courses for $30 was such a great menu. It even had choices! The ladies started out with butternut squash soup (yum) and the gents had wedge salad. Entrees we're oven baked halibut (3 of us picked that) or mushroom raviolis. Both entrees were very tasty. We all picked the same dessert. The warm cranberry, berries and pecan tart was delicious. Sara, our waitress, was knowledgeable and engaging. The atmosphere was cozy. A great evening was had by all. Nice job Enoteca for keeping your prices down and your quality high. read more

Enoteca inside of La Bellaserra hotel transports you to the warm atmosphere which I imagine Tuscany is like in Italy. The murals on the walls and the sophistication of the ambiance makes for a wonderful atmosphere. As La Bellaserra exudes a classy vibe, Enoteca is the same way. The entrance is visible from the lobby of the hotel. My friend and I were staying at the hotel and seeing as though breakfast was not included with our room we decided to eat here. I ordered the enoteca scramble which had bacon, avocado and tomato in it then had sour cream and salsa on top of it. My friend ordered the veggie omelet. Both of our dishes came with an abundance of breakfast potatoes. Everything was good but in my opinion was pretty basic breakfast fare for a steep price. The portions were hefty so at least you can fill up on the food here. Service was great and our waitress was attentive. However, we were one of the only people up at that hour in the restaurant for breakfast so it was quite slow when we were there. Overall, a fine place to eat breakfast out of convenience. read more

6 stars for exceeding all of my expectations! Enoteca knows what they are doing and they do it right - consistently. Our stay was from Friday 3/19-3/21. We ate there almost every meal despite having other plans - they knocked it out of the park and we kept coming back for more. Every single staff member at Enoteca made our stay memorable. We had such a welcoming and enjoyable experience we canceled our plans on Friday night and stayed at Enoteca for cocktails, dinner and dessert. The rib eye was a stand out and we offered our compliments to the chef. The soup de jour (potato, leeks, bacon) was delicious and flavorful. The blueberry Crème brûlée- delectable. Blake C. provided top notch service to us on Friday night. Making reservations was a breeze as they were willing to accommodate us even if they had limited time slots. Then on Saturday morning 3/20 we had breakfast and again had wonderful service and food. Daniel B. was our server at breakfast. We met the General Manager and expressed to him how lovely our stay was because of the exceptional service we were receiving in the restaurant - we were also sure to mention how much we had enjoyed our dinner the night before. We came back on Saturday evening for dinner and received the same outstanding service we expected. So refreshing to have such a pleasant, expeditious and delicious experience. Ashley H. was very kind, attentive and even made suggestions on where else we could visit for after dinner drinks. We had such a nice time we decided to stay and enjoyed drinks from the bar. We had so much fun at the hotel that we ran into some staff from the hotel at Tin City and they remembered us and gave us suggestions on where else to visit. Sheila was working the same night we visited - she wasn't our server but we made friends everywhere we went and she recalled seeing us.
