Used to love June bugs but recently their bartenders are so unprofessional and drunk it's a problem! One of them literally threw a drink unprovoked at me and my friend and her co worker apologized on her behalf but nothing was done to make it right. Never went back and don't plan to. I was there for an over an hour and never even seen her behind the bar, she was just getting drunk with customers the whole time. Smh 0 stars. read more

So went to June bugs a week ago bartender was outside she came in was rude she recognized that and apologized she seriously needed help full house so I told my friends lets go to June bugs after Graffiti Cruise and she was rude again and there was security this time he was a Dick obviously there a couple or something treated me bad and I got along with everybody I m very friendly and can back it up she wants to 86 me because of her security friend . whatever the owner loosing money I have better friend bartenders. read more

Went there tonight. Got across town and called asking about my bank card. Bartender said "we dont keep track of cards". I said " yes its apparent wmyou dont keep track of much. Bartender hung up on me. I called 8 times and she didnt answer. Nice bar. Not!!!+ read more

I really feel like this bar has given up.... They used to be able to tell people when they've had enough, offer them water instead ,they definitely dangerously over serve to the point of people falling down vomiting drunk and then they get in their cars and drive away . It's disgusting read more

Came here over the holidays when I was holed up at my mom's house doin the family thing. First thing's first I have to big this fine establishment up because my aunt and uncle met here and I would be minus a cousin if not for this place. So yeah, at least two stars for that as biased as that may be. The bartender chick here was way cool. Definitely the type of chick you can sit there, shoot the breeze and take some shots with (I love bartenders that'll drink with you). So another star there. Fourth star comes from the clientele, when I was in there the regulars were mad cool to my young outsider ass. Even buying multiple rounds for my friends and I (and everyone else in the bar). If you ever find yourself in Modesto the first thing you should do is try to figure out a way to get the fuck out. But if for some reason you can't and you decide you want a drink, try to wash up at the Glo-Worm. read more

Beautifully trashy. If you love a true dive bar... go here. The bartenders are almost always wasted. There are some regular faces in there who just some to drink a few and play the jukebox. There are a couple pool tables and sports on the tube. If you run into Rose.. have her show you the bar towel trick. oooo and FYI it smells like a porta potty. HEHEHE! read more

This place is a nice alternative to go to compared to other bars in town. There is always a fight or something going on at other places and it is hard to just find a place where you can go and have a few drinks without getting kicked out because some youngsters are fooling around. Very relaxing and just a great vibe. Me and my wife have been going since June opened the place. We will continue going. A lot of people go here for the same reasons as us. read more

June Bugs formally the Glo Worm is owned by the most fantastic woman you will ever meet. She worked as a bartender for more than 20 years before buying it and changing the name to June Bugs. Her name is June by the way. This place is a great dive bar with drinks well poured and the prices are so great. It seems like happy hour 24/7. The jukebox has a great selection and tons of 1credit good songs. There are also pool tables, dart board, arm wrestling machine and tons of great people. Its worth checking out. Especially when June is there. Love this place. :) read more

June.... please take note. The ONLY ONLY reason we come in this place to spend outer money consistently is because of Brittany. She welcomed us immediatly and completely. After that, we were so pleased to learn that Courteney and Anna were just as personable and kind. Your staff is killer. They are what makes you your rent, pays your bills. I hope you treat them accordingly, because where they go, our money follows. I could just as easily go to TOP, or Spin, but I plan my evenings around Brittany's great service and infectious smile. You are beyond blessed to have such rare bartenders that show compassion, competence, patience and genuine human kindness. Great job hiring, don't ever lose those girls! read more

I realize this hasn't had a review in sometime! Now known as the June Bug! The bartenders Courtney & Jessica were awesome. My down fall.. Hotter than hades in there, I think the swamp cooler was broken or something. None the less we had a great time- free pool on Sunday's and the bartenders were down to earth, easy to talk to and nice to gets long with! Drinks were delicious and had zero complaints there. We are new to the area so they were able to suggest some good eats close by... Awesome time :) read more
