New favorite boba and Asian food stop! They have an extensive drink menu that's highly customizable with different bobas and jellies, alternative milks, sweet level and ice level. They have lots of food, ranging from ramen to typical boba shop / dim sum snacks (fried sesame balls, XLB dumplings, popcorn chicken, just to name a few!) plus ramen and onigiri. Plenty of parking and the interior is so modern, beautiful, and clean. I am on a no soy and no dairy diet and they were so accommodating and patient in answering questions about the menu. I ordered a spam and egg onigiri and they put a "no soy" note on the order. Then they looked at their egg ingredients and it did have soy in it, so they asked me what I wanted to do, and they kindly put the egg on the side per my request. They're very clear in the ordering process too to ask for customizations and let you know in advance if anything incurs an additional charge. I had the passionfruit tea, 50% sweet with light ice. The drink usually comes with boba and lychee jelly. I don't love boba so they let me substitute that for a different kind of jelly at no charge. FINALLY a not so basic boba spot! This is the first boba place around the concord, pleasant hill area that tastes more authentic. When you walk in there are about 6 tables and the restaurant is very clean! Extensive menu! We tried the dumplings with peanut chili sauce and the short rib waffle fries. Both were really good! The waffle fries weren't soggy and had lots of sauce. The dumplings were soft but a little small. Despite the size of the dumplings, I would still order again. They were delicious. Lastly, our drinks were perfect! The amount of boba wasn't too little or too much. My Jasmine boba tea tasted so fresh. I would probably give 4.5 stars, but decided to round up. :) I have tried a LOT of boba places, and this is one of the standout ones I've come across in the Bay (and in general). I always order my drink without added sugar which really makes the quality of the tea obvious. This one was excellent (I got oolong milk tea) and with basically perfect boba. There is a self-serve screen you can use, but they also take your order verbally, which I prefer. They also have a spacious seating area, unlike most boba spots. The only reason I'd take off half a star is it took quite a long time to get my order, which normally takes 1-2 minutes at other places. However, they do seem to run things efficiently - I think it was just backed up, so I can't fault them too much for it. I'd certainly return here for boba if in the area. read more

I wish Junenov was closer to me! They have such a unique selection of boba drinks. My favorite part is you can customize (sugar, ice & milk type) the specialty drinks. I went with the crème brûlée boba, if you like crème brûlée try it! They also have a bunch of appetizers you can order to go with your drinks. Small amount of sitting inside, there is some outside seating. Attached to a strip mall so there is a ton of parking. Definitely a place I will keep in mind when I'm craving boba. read more

I heard great things about this place from my sister, my sister's boyfriend and my mom. My mom tried the Japanese Matcha Sumuji and she said it was delicious. When I went there I got the same thing. Instead of regular milk I got oat milk instead. It's 75 cents more but if your tummy can't handle regular milk it's totally worth it. This place is located in the perfect location. Solid five stars. Best new boba shop I've had in a while, and that's coming from someone who drinks milk tea 4-5 times a week haha. First off, they have Ruby 18 tea here! For all of you tea lovers, you know how rare it is to see Ruby 18 in the states. It's a tea that comes from Sun Moon Lake in Taiwan. It's one of my favorite black teas and I was so happy to see it here! We ordered one Ruby 18 crema, one boba milk tea, and a fried calamari. Everything was so delicious! The drinks had a really strong tea flavor. The portion of calamari given was really generous and I loved how there were rings & octopus heads in it! It was seasoned perfectly and super crispy. The employees were really kind and there to answer any questions we had. We also loved how modern and comfortable the seating was inside the store. I usually don't leave reviews, but today's drink (March 1, 2026), I got a Kyoto Grape Lemon and this was absolutely rancid, it tastes like raid spray or something I'd smell at a perfume counter. I've had it before and it's usually decent but whoever made it today needs to clock out and head home. On top of that they took at least 25 minutes to make 2 drinks and they made neither of them right. I understand that we came during a rush, but regardless, my drink should not have been able to leave that counter and end up in a customer's hand. I was eating out for lunch with a friend and we always love to end our meals with boba. I wanted to try something new, so I searched in the area and this place popped up. We decided to head over here and give it a shot. It's located right across DVC, in the Floor and Decor parking area, next to Los Panchos. They look to have a soft opening, so this is why they are not really as known yet. Royal Earl Grey MT: This is by far one of the best Earl Grey MT I have ever had. I usually compare the flavor to another chain location, but this place tops them. I had to wait about 8 min for my drink, which the cashier informed me about since they had to brew the tea. It was well worth it. It had a strong taste of the earl grey. The flavor of the tea was found throughout the drink and was not too overpowering for me. I may have to tone down on the sweetness, but otherwise, I loved this drink. The pearls were also delicious as well. I can see myself coming back here for sure and either try something new, or come back to my comfort drink. read more

Another boba place on this incredibly busy street that's already filled with boba spots. This would make it the third one within a quarter mile of each other, and all of them right next to DVC, but proximity wise, this would be the closest one. In the same part of the shopping center as Los Panchos, Junenov Tea is just a few spots over. As far as boba spots goes, this one is probably the most sit down worthy boba spot, compared to both Teapot and Happy Lemon just down the street because the decor inside is quite nice as it's bright, and the indoor environment overall just feels nicer to sit down at as it's nicely renovated. Price wise, it's about on par with the other boba places, though just a bit more pricier than Teapot, but about the same as Happy Lemon. Their cup sizes are basically just one size, with the taller thinner cups. The quality of the cups' material is very sturdy, not that it means much to the flavor of the drink, but just thought I'd bring it up. Like Teapot, they have a pretty extensive food menu at this boba spot. They have all the usual stuff, like rice bowls, ramen, small eats, and they also have fancy musubi here, though they call it onigiri, but it's really just fancy musubi, not that I'm complaining. Let's talking about the drinks and food here. The "onigiri" here is pretty good. I do have to say, price wise, it doesn't really feel quite as worth it since they're not particularly large portion wise, but the ingredients used are all well done or good quality. But still, compared to the other food you could order, this is more novelty than bang for your buck. The currydon (curry over rice) bowl with shrimp tempura was good. The shrimp tempura was fried perfectly, and very crunchy but not over fried and dry. I just wish it had more on the bowl, but it already had plenty of shrimp so it wasn't bad at all. The curry was alright, just standard curry. One thing is that they give you plenty of rice too, so if you like rice, or want to get your fill, this is a good option for the price. The boba I usually get is just their signature milk tea. It tastes a bit different from all of the numerous boba spots around here, and I'm talking about around here as in all of the other spots in Concord and Walnut Creek too. Certainly have a different approach to their tea flavors, which just tastes much fresher and better. The boba here is so-so. Not too bad. It's QQ enough, and not overly done or too hard. That's always one of the good signs of a decent boba spot. Overall, Junenov is a nice addition to the continuously growing boba spots that have been popping up here in the past 15-20 years in our areas, which before, it was a boba dessert here even though other parts of the Bay Area had plenty. Now, this place is just like all those other areas of the Bay, but perhaps have even more than many of those other places, but Junenov is probably one of the ones that stand out a bit more here for our spots. Would recommend to the more veteran boba'ers to try out Junenov. read more

Although I have gone by this spot, I never tried. One day our work office did a large order and everything we got was wonderful! I stopped for boba and snacks. Happy I did. The place isn't big but not small. Ample seating and hanging out. Plenty of parking. I enjoyed by boba and would definitely come back. The panda milk tea was great and the creme brulee boba latte was alright. I might need a do over on that one. I enjoyed the baos and the katsu onigiri was pretty good too. The chicken wings are cooked well but could use some more seasoning. I found this newer boba shop and wanted to come by and try it. It's in a nice location close to the mall and DVC community college. It's a bright spacious space and has plenty of seating. I came here and wanted to try a couple of drinks where they had pics but unfortunately they didn't have it. I ended up trying the creme brulee boba and it was okay, I couldn't taste much of the tea flavor (which I usually prefer) and the creme brulee itself was super thick. I feel ilke they put too much at the top I was just eating creme. I did enjoy their $10 popcorn chicken though, it was pricey but they do give you a lot. All in all I'd go back for the chicken and maybe try another snack or drink. read more

Very pricy. I wish they had a couple of ordering pads, it is always a far better experience at milk tea places when they have them because there is less of a line and you can flip through the menu. Instead there's one person at the counter taking orders (staff is very nice). The menu is on the wall, but not very visible when you're in line and very small writing so I imagine many people won't be able to read it unless standing close. The tea flavor is quite light, I prefer my tea stronger. Overall, it's a pretty good place to grab a tea-but won't be my first choice based on price, topping options, and mild tea flavor. This is a great spot for boba in Pleasant Hill! Juneov is in a great location across from DVC with plenty of parking in the lot. Decor is really nice inside with the neat light fixtures and the clean, minimal look. We went on a busy Saturday afternoon and the line was pretty long. I feel like Juneov could benefit from having a kiosk or two! The wait was worth it because their drinks are quite good - my go-to is the avocado sumuji and I've tried other avocado smoothies, and this one was by far the best one in the area. I really like their popcorn chicken, too, It has a perfect level of spice with a hint of sweetness. Junenov is a noiice find thanks to Yelpers in the Pleasant Hill Area. Fam ran business w/ some esthetically pleasing new features in a large favorable new plaza...hope they open up more business in this area. Lots of parking and space for it. We ordered drinks and snacks - great options of Taiwanese inspired refreshments of tea, milk tea, fruit based and shakes and boba and other toppings. They have an interesting array of snacks and appetizers that are very filling. Steam buns for the kid and I sampled their unagi unigiri. Both were fine, my unagi was a bit on the sweet side heavily laden w/ unagi sauce. Still tasty. We didn't see ramen on the menu board this time. Maybe another visit. This is a cute spot that is having a soft opening. I got an email from yelp about this place and saw all the different food items. The man in the front was helpful. When we walked in, the place was very clean, cute little spot! He let us know the menu on the wall that had the ramen they were not doing until next week but they had everything else except one other thing (some kind of noodles not ramen) I thought the Okinawa Onigiri would be small! I just came here with my sisters today and everything about this place is amazing. The food, drinks, service, environment, everything. We got three drinks: a strawberry mango fruit tea, a honey brown rice milk tea with oat milk as a substitution and a peach fruit tea. And we got an unagi onigiri and calamari. The calamari is lit, super yummy, no questions asked. And drink-wise, my peach fruit tea is tasty, especially with the peach popping boba. Not too sweet, just perfect. There are a lot of drink and food options to choose from: your milk teas and fruit teas, slushies, snacks, rice bowls, and ramen. I came here during the soft opening and left feeling great. The employees greeted me as I walked in and handed me a menu with their soft opening items. Though smaller than their full menu, there were still a lot of drinks and snacks to choose from. I ordered the Classic Boba Milk tea (30% sweet and 30% ice) and the Okonomiyaki Short Rib Fries. They handed me a pager but they brought my order to my table before the pager went off. I noticed they did this for everyone- it was a nice touch. The milk tea was creamy. I wish there was a stronger tea flavor (at 30% sweet, it was still very sweet. I wouldn't recommend going higher) but I still enjoyed the drink. Price was on par with other boba shops (around $5.50). The boba texture and taste were great. The fries were excellent! I originally asked for them to go but decided to enjoy them at the store while they were fresh. Fries were crispy, the beef was very tender, and the sauce had a slight kick to it. It came with two skewers and when one of the employees noticed I opted to eat them right away, she brought over a fork. It was a large portion and could easily be shared between two people. I was here recently and was very put off that I had to wait an extremely long time for my order (longer than usual as I've ordered there many times before). The total wait time was 30 minutes. Between the time that I ordered and when I finally got my order, a couple, a family, and individual guests were all given their items before I was given mine. This was extremely frustrating when I released the couple behind me had ordered the same thing I did, and they got their food about 15 minutes before I got mine. When my order was finally ready, the worker did apologize for the long wait in which I responded with the above - that it was really frustrating to watch everyone be serviced when I was the first to order.
