Great bar food. They do a really good hamburger in their wings are spectacular. Great place to meet up for a drink, especially in the good weather as one side of the bar is open to the patio. Most of the food there offer is done really well. The restaurant and seating is nice, staff is always super. Went here on a Friday night for dinner. In a shopping plaza, so ample parking. They offer a menu with plenty of options including Gluten Free options. We were sat right away and service was great. A lot of drink options with a vast selection of beer. I ordered the philly steak sandwich which I sent back because the bun was way over toasted, burnt! The replacement was perfect. What a little gem I found while visiting family in New York. The atmosphere is cozy with brick walls and everything nice and clean. Our waitress was very attentive and never left us waiting for anything. I got the tortelli soup and half of a BLT sandwich. I asked for it on rye bread and it was delicious! Other friends got a burger and one also got a Reuben. They both looked extremely good. They said they were very happy with their selection as much as I. Utterly disappointed. Don't know if they came under new management, but this location is absolutely awful. Breakfast menu is not worth it. The burgers are pathetic. $18 for a cheeseburger with lettuce - that is the bare minimum! Nashville "hot" burrito was cold and sad, and not even spicy. They can't even deliver on either definitions of "hot". Bringing your family here is a joke - they'll become brain dead staring at the 1000 surrounding TVs on the walls. We've had McDonald's breakfast better than the Junior's breakfast menu. Save your money and go to the East Greenbush location. read more

Stopped after work for a drink and to watch some of the baseball playoffs. 2 games were on but they only had 1 on but thankfully they had football classics on from 20 years ago. I sat right in the middle of the bar which was less than half full, the young blond female bartender walked past me 5xs for 10 minutes to talk to her friends like I wasn't sitting there, I got up and went down to end of bar and was waited on by another unpleasant bartender. I ordered and asked if the playoff game could be turned on but she said she didn't know what channel it was on, had my drink paid my tab and left. Was in town since my nephew is a student in the area and we were looking for a good spot to eat and get some different food options for our group. Eli was our server and was very friendly, helpful, and professional. We had some questions about the menu and he was able to help us make some choices. First off, we started with a full order of the nachos. They make the chips in house (I believe) and the toppings were nice and plentiful. We got a side of guacamole (extra) and people dug in. Good shareable app for a few people! My brother had the French Onion soup and the Whiskey River BBQ chicken sandwich with tater tots. My sister in law had the Buffalo chicken wrap with fries. My nephew had the Carolina pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato waffle fries, and I had the Big Mac wrap with tater tots. My meal was pretty spot on. Tasted like the real thing, was pickle forward (which I enjoyed) and in a flour tortilla that was nicely prepared so there was little mess involved and way less bun to navigate. Tater tots are hard to mess up but these were perfectly fried. The menu is large here, with plenty of options. They had a brunch menu rolling today but we went with the standard menu. All in all, we were pleased. Our table had a bad lean to it so we put some bar napkins under the guilty leg and fixed it up. There's televisions everywhere for people to enjoy watching sports or whatever is on. By the time we left, the place was rolling. Enjoyable, pleasant, and not break the bank expensive. If you go to Junior's, plan on going for the drinks and the TV/ sports options. Don't go for the food. It was really bad. The Birria quesadillas was supposed to come with a consomme for dipping. Instead it came with a pasty thick sauce that reminded me of A1 sauce. The meat in the quesadilla did not taste fresh....Or like slow cooked Birria tastes like.....actually I'm not sure what it tasted like. Stopped in here on a Sunday. First visit. The place looks like it has a nice vibe. I did not get too much of a look around as they sat us by the entrance. Plenty of tvs all around the place. I was worried as I was facing the wall when I sat but I had three tvs to choose from to watch. Very friendly waitress. The food and drinks here are amazing. The bowl was amazing and the salmon was extremely fresh and cooked to perfection. The waiter Chris was very attentive and flexible. I made a comment about my original order and I didn't realize he was paying attention. He preemptively asked what he could do to make it better . The only downside to my experience was a comment made by a patron. As Sha'Carri Richardson, a young black athlete, earned her spot as an Olympic semi-finalist, another restaurant goer made a back handed racist comment. "I mean she could have at least taken off her wig". The entire time, their conversations were hardly audible, but it seemed that comment was loud and clear. Whilst I understand patron diversity is not a focus at most restaurants, it makes you wonder if restaurants foster certain environments to make people like the patron mentioned above comfortable. Came here for lunch with a couple of friends. We were seated immediately in this spacious restaurant, but the service took a longer time than it should. I got the The Dirty Bird which consisted of a buttermilk chicken topped with coleslaw and their signature dirty sauce on brioche bun. Really good sandwich and I was surprised how good it tasted with the coleslaw in the sandwich. We had to get the attention of the waitress to get our check and again when we were ready to pay which was a hassle. I wished they would be more tentative to us rather than having to wave them down. We got a table within 5 minutes and were seated by the loudest television with music playing. The waiter promptly had it lowered on my request while he got us our drinks. Try the cider martini - fantastic! It is interesting to find a bar that is as good with a burger as they are with a harvest salad with grilled chicken - delicious. We first went to Junior's on Monday the 7th of Aug 2023 on a referral by a local competing Pub who was full to capacity and couldn't seat us for 45 minutes or longer. Much to our surprise, Juniors was quite nice. It was very clean, our table already staged, and when we asked the host that was seating us, for their best server in the restaurant, he really came through. Bella greeted us with a warm hello, and answered any questions that were asked about the beers on tap. We also inquired about 2 unique wing flavors, and she was able to explain them in a way that we could almost taste them. Our drinks arrived quickly, and our appetizer order was put in, as well as our main order. We couldn't decide between the moonshine wings, and the bourbon barrel wings, so we let Bella choose. Needless to say, when our order of wings were delivered, there was Moonshine sauce on the wings and bourbon barrel sauce on the side so that we could try it. That's what I call thoughtful. (Both sauces were very good and not your typical wing joint flavors). There was playful banter throughout the meal with the server, and she made sure that everything we needed was taken care of. It was a delightful experience, the food was very good, and the portions were huge. I ate dinner, and 2 lunches from my meal. We found ourselves in the same area of town yesterday, Wednesday the 9th of Aug 2023 and stopped in for dinner again. We specifically asked for Bella, and the hostess replied, "she's very popular, let me see if she has an open table". Fortunately, she did, and we sat at her last open table. Bella quickly recognized us, and again, asked about what we had chatted about on Monday, and we had another fantastic time with her, and happily ordered the Rib Special that was happening that night. The ribs were perfect, literally falling off the bone, to the point where you didn't need a knife, the sides were mac & cheese, cornbread, and coleslaw. I loved everything but the slaw, just keep in mind I'm a slaw snob, and pretty much only like the recipe that my grandmother made. If the Management reads this, Bella is a treasure, and you should really be very proud to have an amazing server being the face of your operation. read more

I came here hungry after a hockey game up the road at HVCC. It's a large, clean space with decent service. Noisy but not over the top. Food is average, run of the mill bar food but it does seem like the portions are more generous than most. So, if you're hungry and need quantity, Junior's is a good choice. Don't get me wrong....the quality isn't bad or anything....just not a place that I'd necessarily find a dish that stands out as a culinary wonder. I tasted the boneless wings, a version of poutine, the vegan (seitan) wings and nachos. My favorite of all of these were the vegan wings - they actually had the most flavor of everything that I tasted...the buffalo sauce really seeped into the crust and gave it a nice kick. Blue cheese was solid. Others at the table had burgers and salads...gigantic portions and generally good reviews. Beer pours are good. I'm sure I'll be back due to convenience. read more

For a popular sports bar in a prime location, you would hope that they could at least get wings right, but unfortunately all of the food here is pretty bad. $19 for a bowl or a salad - chicken is constantly dry, cocktails taste bland for how expensive they are. I had a bowl once that contained pico de gallo, raw shredded cheese, and pickled onion. It was ridiculous! Anywhere else and it would be half the price with seasoning, broccoli, and more vegetables. Two stars because the servers are good and the place is clean, but otherwise, I hope I don't get dragged here again. read more

The manager needs to get his act together. We are regular customers who spend a lot of time and money at this establishment. We love the staff and their service is top notch. But the manager is constantly under ordering beer, liquor and staple food items. The menu rarely changes so there should be no reason to be out of the popular staples. And the wait staff are the ones who receive the backlash. Today we each ordered chicken sandwich entrees and the normal fried chicken breast was substituted with fried chicken patties. Junior's Bar and Grill is bigger than I expected. The bar and grill seemed smaller from the front, but it is actually quite large, with a patio, and a large window that opens out and doubles as a bar for folks with furry family members. The atmosphere is nice in the daytime and the early evening. However, the noise level steadily rises as the night gets older, especially during the weekend. A good mix of younger people, and older folks seem to hang out here. I enjoy the huge selection of drafts and bottled beverages they offer. They bartenders are really nice and attentive. I have been here a few times, and the service seems slower than my standards, however, I'll give it another try. The calamari I ordered was smaller than I anticipated but it was tasty, so I guess the size could be overlooked. The servers are nice, and give you adequate time to make your selection, without being pushy. I do not feel pressured to make a choice because the servers are too busy to come back. I definitely like this location better, and it's one of my favorite place to hangout with friends over food and drink. read more
