Decided to come to this restaurant because of the reviews and wow was I shocked. The service was great but it was the food that I was genuinely concerned about. I ordered the Tuesday lobster special- a 34.98 2lb lobster with a side of cinnamon mashed sweet potatoes. Below is a photo of my meal. I have really no words for what I was served. The lobster was horrendous. If you are going to serve someone a lobster that looks and tastes like it has been frozen in a box for two years you probably shouldn't make it a special. And the sweet potatoes were possibly baby food warmed up, I'm still not sure yet. Save your money. (Keep in mind this was how the lobster was brought to me. After many years of enjoying meals here I was totally disappointed by the staff of this restaurant last night. My wife stumbled and fell as she was walking to our table. Not one staff member came to her aid to help her up, inquire about her fall or assist her getting her up off the floor. Their lack of concern for a customer was totally unprofessional and unacceptable! Had a late dinner around 8:45pm we were happily seated. First off the bread is deadly. Our waitress Michelle made us feel right at home. My wife ordered Salmon it was delicious. While the food was good and the service was good at the end of the meal I received the bill add a 20% tip and there was already a 20% tip added to the bill. The waitress should have informed me the add a tip already, watch your bill. Can't use the Groupon with the lobster meal. Our waitress - cat lady haircut with glasses told us 4 times after I said we had a Groupon. We still decided to order the lobster because that's what our once a year visiting parents wanted to eat - this waitress decided to be overly condescending about reminding me that no lobster order for the Groupon, this time it's the 5th time she said it - so I said we will pay for the lobster full price, she then decided to assume we still want to use our Groupon and said with a raised voice that the Groupon has to be for 4 people. It's one thing to feel like and be treated like a 3rd class citizen by this waitress who felt like we either don't speak English or just simply dumb as a box of rocks. Sorry for the negative remarks - but this is how we felt. This is before we even ate. I wanted to make a scene but my professional self would not let my old ghetto self rise up. So, we still got the lobster. Wife lost her appetite so she didn't order. I can eat through any scenario so I ate half my food. I wish we could muster up to visit next time. Not until we ease up on the hostile treatment to customers. Managers, shadow your wait staff from time to time. $80 to $100 meals should not feel this way before we order. If this was a $5 meal - you get what you pay for. But it's not. Maybe next time if there is a next time we can actually talk about the food. Whenever I am vacationing in West Palm area, we usually have a meal at Juno Fish House. Usually end up with a booth of family. This time, I had the sushi grade tuna with sesame and ponzu sauce and sautéed veggies. Very satisfying and reasonable price. The wait staff hustles and anticipates and is always pleasant. I've been in Juno Beach Fish House many times, the service is a little mediocre but I thought the food was great. Unfortunately my last time will be my last, I got the only and worse food poisoning of my life. Soon as I finished dinner (I had mahi) started feeling very ill and blacking out, thankfully my friend drove me to Jupiter Medical because I couldn't even walk to my car. I spent large portion of my night in the ER. And even tho I had insurance I was hit with thousands in medical bill. this makes the most expensive dinner #1 on my list. Im still thinking what it could have been since if its allergy there would have been rash. The DR said possible e.coli (salad) or bad fish. Still the food is great just make sure you have really good insurance with very low deductible! read more

Was driving home from the beach and always pass by this place(one block from the ocean) so my girlfriend and I thought we would give it a try. So glad we did! Don't let all the gray hairs scare you, it's our favorite lunch spot now. Have been in about ten times and have yet to have even an ok meal, its always GREAT! Have had everything from fresh catch, the parm encrusted grouper and even the burgers rock! I think they are closed on the weekends but if your in the area at lunch time, DO IT. Went a few times in the last couple of weeks Lobster was what we ordered will NOT again as they get one delivery each morning and do not have a tank to keep .... they cook when arrived and warm up for dinner The lobster were a bit dry and tough when broiled due to the them not being alive prior to eating. We ordered 4 2 pound lobsters on a Tuesday night. Only 3 were close to two pounds and the 4th was small and burnt. When manager came over he said they did not have any more. WHAT A LYING MANAGER. A mainstay in Juno for at least the last 10 years -- when my family moved to North Palm Beach -- the Juno Beach Fish House on the SE corner of Donald Ross Road and US1 rarely disappoints. In season, walk-ins will not escape waiting at least half an hour for lunch, and over an hour for dinner. Friday nights during Lent, and you better make a reservation, or you'll probably cool your heels through a couple of college basketball games before you're ordering your meal. I've probably eaten their 10 times in the last 10 years, and the two statements I can make about all those experiences are it's always been busy, and it's always been good. Given the restaurant's location, the crowd is most decidedly older -- pockets of 30's and 40's, but mostly 50's, 60's, and higher. Last Friday when we went, a guy in his 70's actually fell in the outdoor dining area just as we were finally being seated, and it took everybody about 10 minutes to gain their composure and get back into the restaurant's rhythm. Just some bruises, thank goodness for the poor old guy, but he made it out on his own power. Anyway, you're in a seafood place, right? So, when it comes to the first question -- soup or salad -- trust me, skip the greens for one night and get the soup, or chowder rather. As in clam. So savory, rich and peppery, brimming with clams and potatoes, I could probably have a couple of bowls of this alone and be satisfied, but then I'd miss out on the place's real draw. You've got five different fish to choose from -- salmon, snapper, tilapia, grouper, and mahi -- and you can have them prepared any way you like -- grilled, blackened, fried, pan seared, baked, broiled ....... They'll even slap it on a bun for you if you want to make it a sandwich. The side dishes are, for me, nothing special -- beans and rice, mixed vegetables, mashed potatoes, or French fries. Just filler, something to chew up in between your tasty fish. They do have desserts, but to the best of my knowledge, they don't make them on site; they just farm it out to a local bakery. The key lime pie is all I've ever ordered, and it is a pretty faithful representation of what you'd get at the Key Lime Pie Factory down on the corner of Fleming and Duval. I've only ordered it a couple of times, though, because usually I'm too full from my meal. Service is just OK, unfortunately, but it's just because of how busy the place is. Prices are a little on the high side, but you can find coupons for free entrees or percentage discounts almost anywhere. Just call ahead. read more

I recently visited the Fish House while visiting Juno Beach. My husband and I are in our late 30's, to set the tone of the review. The atmosphere was nothing spectacular, basically booths and a simple interior design. The happy hour drink specials were good. However, the food was really disappointing for the price. I ordered a Cesar salad which was very bland. My husband had the clam chowder which he said was good. I ordered the scallops, garlic mash and veggies. The scallops were small and covered in a butter sauce, they were okay. The potatoes seemed as though they were pre-made and did not taste good. I actually got a whole clove of garlic in one bite. The veggies were fine, a little over cooked. The food presentation was bland. This is a mediocre seafood place that appeals more towards a senior crowd. Not a place for a date night. read more

We had dinner here tonight and we were very pleasantly surprised. The line of waiting 80+ year olds made us pause, but actually right out of the gate the chowder and the bread were both awesome. The fresh house salad my wife had was much better than average! Then the main course for three of us...fried Grouper for two of us (daughter and I) -- tasty...very tasty. My wife was recommended the grilled trout and it did not disappoint. The key lime pie was smooth and finished the whole experience! And now... the best was the service...the waitress was killer good. She said it was her third waitressing job now in her early 20's and commented to me that the entire restaurant team was the best by far she has worked with and it showed. Beware: if you order off the sunset menu, which will save you $ over the normal price of an entree and also will include a free coffee or tea and dessert.... She went back again. He adjusted the bill. This time he(?) added a beverage to our bill $2.75 iced tea, that neither one of us had ordered. When I asked him what he meant when he told our server to "Go out there and be brave".... (my translation... 'Convince them to pay the higher, incorrect amount') he stumbled all over himself with a lame convoluted excuse. My wife said his voice actually squeaked as he had the 'I'm busted' look all over his face. Disgraceful conduct for an owner. After I asked for his name and told him I'd post a blog, he was flippant and left our table abruptly. Wish I'd had a hidden camera. It would be all over the Internet. Extremely disappointing! I ordered a house specialty - Glenn's Killer Bayou Bowl Not only did the dish have no spice in it - it had NO SCALLOPS and only 4 shrimp. I said something to our server. She told the manager and they offered to comp me a dessert. I couldn't believe it! To make matters worse, the chef came out toward the end of our meal and apologized for his mistake and told me that next time the dish would be better. I was in total disbelief by his audacity. Why in the world would I come back to this restaurant and chance that they might make the dish correctly?? If they had done the right thing and comped the meal I would certainly give them a second chance. But there are too many fine restaurants out there for me to ever consider going back or recommending it to anyone. I will do the opposite.
