I really like Junz. In the land of chain-restaurants(ie, Parker), this is one of the very few places I've seen/tried that's independent with good food. This was one of our regulars. We used to go each Friday before we moved to Cali. Charlie at the sushi bar knew our order before we walked in the door. There is so many things that were delightful. The seaweed salad that began the meal starts your taste buds out perfectly. I loved the Chilean Sea Bass with Cheesy Risotto. The steak wrapped asparagus cooked perfectly was my son's favorite. This one has a light teriyaki sauce over the top Now comes the good stuff...they have changed a few rolls but the dragon and catapiller rolls were perfect. Another great sushi find in the Denver area. If you find yourself in southern Denver this is a must for sushi fans. I sat at the bar with a couple of people, so our service was great and timely, but I cannot say anything about table seating. You MUST try the calamari while you are there - excellent! The sushi is also wonderful as well. My favorite part of Junz is the fresh wasabi - don't forget to ask! If you are a wine fan - they serve wine in deep glasses as well. We have always loved Junz! After years of dining there, they still manage to bring new flavors and yet keep the "tried and true" that we come back for time and time again, like the Volcano Roll - Yum! If you live in Parker and are from California.....THIS SUSHI IS GOOD! I was totally surprised!! I cannot wait to go back! Sushi Wave in Greenwood Village is good too, but I have to say that I liked Junz better. We ate at the sushi bar and had our regular lineup.....rainbow roll, spicy scallop hand roll (which is not what you normally expect, but super tasty nonetheless) and yellowtail & smoked salmon sushi. Everything was so fresh & tasty! I hope it wasn't a fluke.....we will be going back next month. I will say that the service was very slow.....it took a very long time between sushi orders.....however they were packed & had many to go orders....no excuse, but at least they were slow & busy instead of slow & lazy. read more

Absolutely disappointed. Came during lunch and it was very quiet. Had a table of 5 and were given 1 menu. After not being able to find a server, we huddled around the 1 menu and wrote down our order. Waited 15 minutes for the waiter to reappear. Ordered 6 rolls, 4 pieces of sushi and 5 miso soups. 20 minutes later we received a very watery miso soup. Almost 30 minutes after that, we received 1/2 of our order. Most of which was wrong. Tried eating a couple pieces of seared tuna and it was cut along the bloodline. Tasted old and I actually spit it out in my napkin. Finally, 15 minutes later, we received the rest of the rolls. Everything tasted old and dry. I've had grocery store sushi that tasted better. Had to flag the waiter down on every single occasion. I do think he was working the 4 tables alone. The entire visit took way too long and was way too expensive for all that we left on the plate. Wow, I gotta admit I'm shocked by some of these scathing reviews from California sushi elitists. For starters, Parker doesn't have much to offer, culinary wise, but Junz has been a Parker mainstay for YEARS. JunZ is hands down the best quality sushi you're going to find in Parker, and I've been to all of them. The menu, selection and presentation won't blow you out of your seat, but in my book, it all comes down to quality of food and a nice friendly staff. JunZ has both. read more

So...ordered their sushi online a few times and LOVE the Phoenix roll...tried the tempura lobster...great!! Decided to take the family out to eat first time in how long!? Very disappointed in how long the food took to come out...then ordered 3 Chilean Bass after waiting 45 minutes...no sauce they ran out and didn't tell us. The last time I was here a waitress spilled soup on me. No offer for dry cleaning. No apology, in fact the waitress laughed. We were in a party of 7 and the others saw her laughing all night. We've been going to Junz for years. The Japanese/French fusion is great, as is the Sushi. This is a wonderful place and a Parker Favorite. The Tonkatsu (breaded pork loin) and the Niku Maki (ribeye sliced and wrapped around asparagus) are favorites. The Sashimi cuts are much bigger than you typically see.
