So I'm a delivery driver and when I went in they had me wait in line to ask if it was ready....a strange thing to do given that it makes my customer and me wait unessessarily especially if the food is ready. So I respectfully asked to speak to the manager( who's the co-owner w/her husban) about this and she explained the policy. I didn't agree obviously and told her that but id they wanna do that its their establishment. However, later once the order was ready the other owner, her husband, took issue with asking about this policy and said i was being rude and had attitude. I said that wasn't true and I already addressed the issue and would like to get the order and be on my way. He however continued to repeat his accusations and refused to give me the now-ready food. He eventually gave le the food after several repeated askings to give me the food and he threatened to ban me. Rude, unprofessiona, and not interested in customer service. I wish there was higher than a 5 star review. The owner Guy puts blood sweat and tears into trying to please. They are doing our catering, I work for a large company. Everything wrapped to perfection, labeled and yummy. I would recommend to any personal individual, or business to use this Cafe. The food is made wonderful! read more

This place is chaos during peak hours. Sometimes they don't get your order quite right. And the staff can get a little flustered. But it doesn't matter, because everything else about this place is perfect. The food is always fresh and delicious. They happily accommodate any food allergies. The staff learn your name, and greet you personally when you walk in. Online ordered is fast and easy. The food isn't cheap, but it's not overpriced either, and I don't mind paying a little more when the quality is this good. I've never had a bad item here, so just order whatever looks good to you. I recently found out about this cafe because I went to physical therapy right around the corner! I stopped in one day after a tennis session, starved of course, and everyone is SO friendly. I got a chipotle turkey panini and it was delicious. The menu looked really good and I'm excited to try other items. It's also super clean. I would definitely have to avoid that lunch hour though because this cafe gets a huge lunch rush! read more

This was our second time at the cafe, we are here for the workshop. On Saturday I ordered the breakfast bowl and I asked for veggie and egg bowl to go, I got cheese and egg only not one vegetable in there. Lunch ruined, didn't had enough time to go back and get another one. Had to eat that disgusting bowl because had nothing else to eat. The register person seemed more occupied with the customer on the phone than serving a customer that was in a store, maybe that's why she didn't hear what I asked for. read more

I had never heard of this restaurant but I had time to kill between appointments and my husband suggested (he had been) it. I ordered a toasted bagel with turkey, American cheese and avocado (not technically on the menu but they happily made it for me). I don't usually gush over breakfast sandwiches but this was the best one I've ever had. Fresh real warm turkey, lots of avocado. Absolutely delicious. Great coffee. All very reasonably priced. Every time I have been here, the staff has been so wonderful and friendly. The only reason that I am not giving 4 stars is that, as some other reviewers have said, their coffee isn't quite starbucks level. I don't hold this against them, as they're relatively new and maybe they're still figuring this out. However, I have always been happy when I go there. This place is awesome. I just started a job up the street a couple weeks ago and I'm here almost daily now. I was not recommended here, I just drove past and thought it had good curb appeal. But the food is delish! The sandwiches are very good, the smoothies are delicious as well. I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but they have quite the selection here if you like flavored hot beverages. The staff is very friendly as well. The only small thing I'd recommend is maybe adding some side dishes to go with sandwiches like pasta salad or something. But that's just because I'm a very hungry pregnant woman (hahah). Will be back... probably tomorrow even. read more

I just moved to the area and am so thrilled my sister told me about this place!! Their breakfast sandwiches and coffees are amazing but the best part - for me - is the gluten-free bread on which they can make sandwiches!!! They're so delicious and fresh! My only "complaint" would be that they're only open weekdays so I can only go in if I take a day off of work.. I would probably eat here at least once a week if they were open Sat or Sun. read more

This place is great. I work right up the street and this place is the go-to destination for great breakfast and lunch. I usually get a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel, a muffin, and a coffee. The sandwich is always full of flavor, the muffin is perfectly heated, and the coffee tastes fantastic. My wife and I had a great breakfast experience. She ordered a egg,cheese, and ham breakfast sandwich on a bagel. The sandwich was huge which might have been due to the healthy-sized slice of lean ham within. I ordered the "vegetarian egg bowl" that was served in a plastic bowl. No bread equals no carbs. There were enough egg, vegetables, and cheddar cheese for two people. Both meals were delicious! This may now be my "go to place" for breakfast. read more

Great little place! I've worked in Peabody for over 25 years. This place opened up a while back but I thought it was just a café with coffee, pastries etc. only. Looked at the menu online and decided to give it a shot and try some place different. Glad I did. I got the Steak & Cheese and it was not overcooked and there was plenty of melted American cheese throughout the sandwich. Not you average sub shop steak sandwich. This was our first time in. Walking to the counter I noticed the cafe was completely spotless, raising my hopes of a better than average meal. My boyfriend and I were starving and both ordered cheese steak subs from their very lengthy menu (which, in my opinion should be simplified). The super nice woman behind the counter became flustered when she could not complete the sale with our credit card, so the owner stepped in to save the day. We brought the subs home and were completely blown away. These were the BEST cheese steak subs that we have eaten in a very long time. The braided bread was extremely fresh, the meat was juicy and tender, and cooked and seasoned to perfection. I highly recommend Just in Time Cafe to others. We will definitely be back. Very nice little cafe! I came the other day and had a great experience. I walked in and you can tell off the start it was clean. I took a minute to decide but the lady in front was welcoming and the lady that made my coffee was pleasant as well. Great little place. This breakfast/ lunch/ coffee shop is really amazing. Down the street from my BF's apartment complex (he since recently moved) but was a regular here and have tried many items on their breakfast and lunch menu. First off, the coffee here is great and that is number one for me. However, breakfast here is fast, convenient and always good. Breakfast sandwiches are better than the average coffee shop, but I would opt for the breakfast bowl if you haven't tried it here. Veggie breakfast bowl ... never disappoints. Lunch here is also great, salads are made with fresh crisp produce. Paninis here are also a good choice, prosciutto and fig .... super yummy. The staff here is very friendly, seems family owned and operated. Great spot for a quick breakfast or lunch. On nice days a small outdoor patio is great way to enjoy your coffee and grub! Heard good things about Just In Time Cafe, and is around the corner from my PC doctor and PT so the other day I stop for a bite to eat. Being my first time I reviewed the menu carefully, and they were patient with me when I asked questions. Remembering a sandwich I was craving that had cranberries they were more than willing to ad to the menu ingredients. I got the Chicken Salad Wrap with cranberries (50 cent extra, I have paid and asks for more), lettuce and tomatoes. Anxious to try something from the menu to drink I chose the Berry Medley Smoothie, which lists milk as an ingredient, but once again they folks at JITC were all to happy to exchange milk with yogurt. My wrap came with a bag of chips. The Chicken Salad with cranberries was delicious and filling. The Berry Medley Smoothie complimented my meal as both a beverage and dessert. I recommend Just In Time Cafe as the place to eat for homemade, natural, wholesome ingredients. I look forward to trying more from their breakfast and lunch menu. -Brian K., Danvers read more

Ive eaten here at this family run restaurant multiple times and I have to be honest when I say there hasn't been one thing ive tried that I havent absolutely loved. My favorites so far have been the Chicken Parm, as well as the Cattleman Chicken Panini , the Chipotle Turkey Panini and the Protein breakfast with turkey sausage. They also have an amazing coffee selection and Im obsessed with the Coconut Dream Latte. One thing that is constant in everything ive had , is high quality ingredients and preparation, and much higher quality than anything ive ever had in the area! Love the atmosphere too, they are so much fun, and really make sure that you get exactly what you want and leave happy. I will definitely keep coming back and plan on trying everything on the menu!
