This is way overdue but better late than never my wife and son came here last Christmas and bought me a seiko ssc701 I was surprised and happy with the gift but thinking to myself if its legit since the tag and box doesn't have the model number so I told my wife to go back and ask for the tagging instead the owner filled up the warranty card it was nice of him and we do owes him an apology. For I check with seiko website and his shop is listed as legit retailer and I was just can't believe how he beat the price selling at Amazon which is more unreliable so we apologize to you sir and very happy with the watch and we'll come back and recommend your shop the price of the watch is doubled all over the web just in 3 months for the price you gave us. Amazing service! A+++ I was looking to get a specialized watch engraved as a Christmas gift for a 5 year anniversary. The back of the watch is glass so you can actually see the watch parts. There was a small rim around that part. Another engraving place said they would be able to engrave on the glass and I was going to go there but decided to check this place out since it was convenient. I'm SO glad I did! They are so knowledgeable and let me know engraving on a watch with glass could not only risk shattering the glass but also the laser could damage the watch. This watch was $$$ so it would have been terrible for something to happened at the engraving stage. They stay a little after closing to get my message engraved. The worst part is not the botched repair- it is the misleading and covering up of obvious clear mistakes. I hate leaving bad reviews because the jeweler I spoke to was super nice but I feel scammed. I came in for a replacement clasp repair and changing the battery. The overall work was done nicely but my issue is with the line of communication. I was specifically told that the total price of the repair for just the clasp would be 60 dollars TOTAL. That total included his $15 labor charge. (which I asked if it was included in the total price he told me) This is a fair price so I agreed and I even specifically asked "Is the total charge $60 overall?" and the jeweler said yes. When it was time to pick it up the lady at the front went over the price breakdown. They charged me $65 dollars for the clasp repair and $15 for the labor. That is a total of $80 dollars. I told the lady that that was NOT what was told to me and she said there was nothing she could do. Where did the extra 5 dollars come from? I didn't just make up the $60 dollars in my head. I know I am 100% clear on what the jeweler told me ($60 TOTAL) because my boyfriend sent me the $60 dollars on the EXACT day I spoke with the jeweler on the phone because that was the information that was relayed to me that day. I know for a fact I was told $60 dollars TOTAL because I asked him TWICE in our phone call because I did not want to spend a lot on just a clasp repair. I would never have spent $80 on just a clasp repair. And I wouldn't have agreed for them to change my battery when they asked if I knew I was already spending $80 on the clasp repair. I spent over $120 total when I was expecting to pay way less. read more

My father in law dropped off his watch to be cleaned and replace a gem. When he picked it up the seals weren't reinstalled correctly and the inside of the watch fogged up. I took it back for him and 2 weeks later we went to pick it up and they didn't even know if it'd been repaired. On top of that they tried to convince him it was done because when it was dropped off it was foggy inside (it wasn't) and since there wasn't fog now it was repaired. They told us to take it and if it fogged up again bring it back, just doesn't seem how this should have been handled. read more

It should be called Waste of Time. Kevin destroyed my watch. He'd changed a couple batteries on couple watches and gained my trust. A very special watch started running slow and Kevin told me "needs a new movement" the next Saturday I came back and after an hour he told me he had ordered the wrong movement asked me to come back which I did now third consecutive Saturday and he told me, 45 minutes to an hour, my girlfriend and I walked around Spectrum and returned about 44 minutes later and he told me, "I will start working on it now" we sat outside by the fountains and about 40 minutes later I saw him coming from back of his shop with my watch. I was happy as I thought it was fixed, Kevin told me, "I set the time it's keeping perfect time" I paid him 120.00 cash and I never looked at the time until we were half way home. When I looked at the time it said 2:10 but was not moving at all. We returned and I demanded my money back and I found I master watch and clock repair who fixed it right in front of me and I had to pay 180.00. Kevin had glued the movement which was wrong, Kevin had damaged the coil in the new movement and he also did more.
